Another way to help John Dennis...
There are hundreds of anti-Pelosi groups on facebook, I suggest you "friend" their admins while sending them messages about Mr. Dennis, while posting information about his campaign and http://thisnovember5th.co... to the group wall - stick to a pro-constitution message, tailor it to each group you are presenting it to......when the admins accept your friend request,send them an invite to a "John Dennis for congress" group that you create - and send weekly campaign updates/moneybomb/info on how to help the campaign. I'd do it myself, but busy doing the same thing for John McCains opponent - Chris Simcox:)

Thanks to the push by dailypaulers 141 of which read my blog about John Dennis, over 370 people read the blog and got exposed to the message of freedom and John Dennis' candidacy. Also 53 then went and read about Rand Paul.
Also, typing "Nancy Pelosi trouble brewing" in the search engine bring this thread up as number four on the google list. And typing "San Francisco trouble brewing" brings this thread up as first on the google list. So now more people will be exposed to Ron Paul

People KNOW who Sheehan is and Pelousi, after months of having her office protested by anti-war for Sheehan, Pelousi won with 72%
The reason, is because as speaker of the house, she has a very powerful seat in congress the neocons GOP and Democratic party do not intend to lose to a newby by any party.
Sheehan raised almost no money...
And screamed hysterically alot - she didn't look like a representative - I don't care how much name recognition you have, if you don't mount a serious campaign you will not be taken seriously. John will appeal to a much broader audience.

Thats how she keeps her seat. Unless John Dennis can get the medical marijuana community to back him with their billions, they would not back Sheehan, I don't see how anyone can beat her without their support.
She's got the corporations supporting her and they sure as hell don't want to lose Pelosi because she is speaker of the house.
I think it's great John Dennis is a liberty candidate, but he should know, medical marijuana is a HUGE issue here. If you are not for it, if you can't do better than Pelosi, who has cannabis clubs in her district,,, you're not going to win.

Never thought about this, as I always assumed Dennis, as a liberty candidate, would obviously be in favor of at least "medical" marijuana, and more likely recreational marijuana as well.
But his campaign's site does not explicitly mention it as an issue. Hopefully, it's simply a tactical move in order to secure the Republican nomination, as he during the primaries will be dependent on votes from a likely less than med mj friendly GOP primary electorate.
In that is the case, I would expect him to fly his true flag once past that hurdle and into a general runoff against Pelosi. I simply can't imagine him not being on the free side of Pelosi on this issue, the way he is on every other issue.

Maybe you can understand, I live in an area that's VERY political and you better believe, people have looked up John Dennis and looked to see where he stands on protecting their millions. He doesn't mention nukes... the area is a nuclear community.. so I don't get John Dennis's interest in Pelousi's district except, he's an outsider and an Arnold puppet filling the GOP gap on the ballot.
And as for Cindy Sheehan... she lost respect from the progressives for running against Pelosi, Sheehan was an OBVIOUS outsider one trick pony.
We're playing hard ball out here where nuclear power and marijuana RULE. John needs to address his district, not the National GOP.
Dennis is running for CA's
Dennis is running for CA's 8th district, which is basically SF, so the issues he focuses on are likely shaped by that. Were he running further north, his focus may be more on the issues you mention.
As he has chosen to run as a Republican, like Ron Paul, he may also still feel a bit more constrained than someone running as a libertarian wrt. marijuana. At least early in the campaign, where support from within his own party is important. If it gets down to the wire with Pelosi, in which case any walking and crawling GOP supporter will unite behind him regardless of his stance on marijuana, I will be genuinely surprised if he manages to not come down as the preferred of the two amongst SF's rather large and vocal MJ constituency. It's an issue that in SF could be a major vote getter, and one were someone who is the sitting Speaker of the House will have a very hard time following a liberty candidate.

THE LIBERTY to grow, trade and consume marijuana/cannabis is a TOP Liberty issue for CA. If you are not liberated to fight FOR majijuana, go back to whereever the hell you came from... but CA is NOT for you, unless youre a GOP for Arnold... and you ain't gonna win at all. One Arnold is enough.

However
Sheehan ran as an independent, cared more about protesting than campaigning and was kind of a nut job. John Dennis on the other hand is a Republican with what I hear the backing of the party, has been campaigning hard and is well spoken.
Plus John Dennis has a network of Liberty Republicans fighting for him. Sure it's going to be a long uphill climb but I don't plan on giving up.

His campaign could consider touting him ad nauseum as a "classic liberal." We use this in my group when we come across liberals and it works really well. It brings down resistance, sparks interest opening the door to educate, and creates a positive place to go forward from. Dr. Paul also said on Book TV from the last regional conference that arguably the best place for us to recruit from is self-described liberals. They are more likely to already be with us on civil liberties and foreign policy.
