Federal Reserve Exposed on Real Time w/ Bill Maher
By Jason Hamlin, on October 10th, 2009

Richard Belzer was a guest on Real Time with Bill Maher last night and made a point to bring up the creation of the Federal Reserve at Jekyll Island and the total control the banking system has over the U.S. government. It was a brazen move and Bill Maher was quick to move to another subject, but kudos to Belzer for touching on such an important topic in front of millions who were probably hearing it for the first time. For a full uncensored history of how the Federal Reserve was created, Edward Griffin’s book “The Creature from Jekyll Island: A Second Look at the Federal Reserve,” is a must read.

Wow!

This video is getting a lot of hits! The one posted above has over 7,000 views and the one on the following link has over 11,000 views! This should be front page material. Probably the most attention a clip from the Maher show has gotten in a while.

JFK

Fact-
On June 4, 1963, a virtually unknown Presidential decree, Executive Order 11110, was signed with the authority to basically strip the Federal Reserve Bank of its power to loan money to the United States Federal Government at interest. With the stroke of a pen, President Kennedy declared that the privately owned Federal Reserve Bank would soon be out of business. The Christian Law Fellowship has exhaustively researched this matter through the Federal Register and Library of Congress. We can now safely conclude that this Executive Order has never been repealed, amended, or superceded by any subsequent Executive Order. In simple terms, it is still valid.

When President John Fitzgerald Kennedy - the author of Profiles in Courage -signed this Order, it returned to the federal government, specifically the Treasury Department, the Constitutional power to create and issue currency -money - without going through the privately owned Federal Reserve Bank. President Kennedy's Executive Order 11110 [the full text is displayed further below] gave the Treasury Department the explicit authority: "to issue silver certificates against any silver bullion, silver, or standard silver dollars in the Treasury." This means that for every ounce of silver in the U.S. Treasury's vault, the government could introduce new money into circulation based on the silver bullion physically held there. As a result, more than $4 billion in United States Notes were brought into circulation in $2 and $5 denominations. $10 and $20 United States Notes were never circulated but were being printed by the Treasury Department when Kennedy was assassinated. It appears obvious that President Kennedy knew the Federal Reserve Notes being used as the purported legal currency were contrary to the Constitution of the United States of America.

"United States Notes" were issued as an interest-free and debt-free currency backed by silver reserves in the U.S. Treasury. We compared a "Federal Reserve Note" issued from the private central bank of the United States (the Federal Reserve Bank a/k/a Federal Reserve System), with a "United States Note" from the U.S. Treasury issued by President Kennedy's Executive Order. They almost look alike, except one says "Federal Reserve Note" on the top while the other says "United States Note". Also, the Federal Reserve Note has a green seal and serial number while the United States Note has a red seal and serial number.

President Kennedy was assassinated on November 22, 1963 and Lindon Johnson immediately resended JFK's excutive order. Federal Reserve Notes continued to serve as the legal currency of the nation. According to the United States Secret Service, 99% of all U.S. paper "currency" circulating in 1999 are Federal Reserve Notes.

Kudos to Belzer, but I wish he would have left out the Kennedy

part.

As far as my research shows me, that's not what went down. There is a good rebuttal of the Kennedy/Silver issue but unfortunately I don't have the site bookmarked.

I think we have great arguments for abolishing the FED without resorting to topics that have little verifiable evidence to them.. The bank has done enough ON the record to justify their elimination.

Agreed,

I've always thought of it as interesting mythos but I believe there were many other reasons that can be better debated as to why Kennedy was targeted on that fateful day.

I think I've read the same rebuttal as you have. Had something to do with the coinage act and JFK's attempts to aid the reduction of silver in the coin supply and introduce watered down denomination to prevent melting of metals as a result of the desolving dollar. It might be nice to see it debated on this site however. I did quite a bit of research on the topic and it is very vague to say that this EO was intentionally introduced to take power back from the FED. Many of this reasoning comes from speeches the President gave just before his death including the "secret societies" speech. I have a colleague who has told me additionally that friends of his attended University lecture by the President where he makes his intention to take on the FED known but has since been erased from the public record. Of course its hard to believe such a tale without obvious proof. I'd be interested if several of these people ever came forward about it.

"When you or I write a check there must be sufficient funds in our account to cover the check, but when the Federal Reserve writes a check there is no bank deposit on which that check is drawn. When the Federal Reserve writes a check, it is creating money."

-- "Putting it Simply", Boston Federal Reserve Bank

"Neither paper currency nor deposits have value as commodities, intrinsically, a 'dollar' bill is just a piece of paper. Deposits are merely book entries."

-- Modern Money Mechanics Workbook, Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, 1975

"The Federal Reserve system pays the U.S. Treasury $20.60 per thousand notes -- a little over 2 cents each -- without regard to the face value of the note. Federal Reserve Notes, incidentally, are the only type of currency now produced for circulation. They are printed exclusively by the Treasury's Bureau of Engraving and Printing, and the $20.60 per thousand price reflects the Bureau's full cost of production. Federal Reserve Notes are printed in $1, $2, $5, $10, $20, $50, and $100 denominations only; notes of $500, $1000, $5000, and $10,000 denominations were last printed in 1945."

-- Donald J. Winn, Assistant to the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve system

"If all the bank loans were paid up, no one would have a bank deposit, and there would not be a dollar of currency or coin in circulation. This is a staggering thought. We are completely dependent on the commercial banks. Someone has to borrow every dollar we have in circulation, cash or credit. If the banks create ample synthetic money we are prosperous; if not, we starve. We are absolutely without a permanent money system... It is the most important subject intelligent persons can investigate and reflect upon. It is so important that our present civilization may collapse unless it becomes widely understood and the defects remedied very soon."

-- Robert H. Hamphill, Atlanta Federal Reserve Bank

"The Federal Reserve banks are one of the most corrupt institutions the world has ever seen. There is not a man within the sound of my voice who does not know that this nation is run by the International bankers."

-- Congressman Louis T. McFadden (speaking in the Senate)

"The Federal Reserve Banks are not federal instrumentalities..."

-- Lewis vs. United States 9th Circuit 1992

"The regional Federal Reserve banks are not government agencies. ...but are independent, privately owned and locally controlled corporations."

-- Lewis vs. United States, 680 F. 2d 1239 9th Circuit 1982

"Every effort has been made by the Federal Reserve Board to conceal its powers, but the truth is that the Federal Reserve System has usurped the government. It controls everything in congress and it controls all our foreign relations. It makes and breaks governments at will."

-- Louis T. McFadden, Chairman of the House Committee on Banking and Currency

"Historically, the United States has been a hard money country. Only since 1913 [Federal Reserve Act] has the United States operated on a fiat money system. During this period, paper money has depreciated over 87%. During the preceding 140 year period, the hard currency of the United States had actually maintained its value. Wholesale prices in 1913 ... were the same as in 1787."

-- Kenneth Gerbino, former chairman of the American Economic Council

"The decrease in purchasing power incurred by holders of money due to inflation imparts gains to the issuers of money..."

-- St. Louis Federal Reserve Bank in "Review", Nov. 1975

Sad, but true...

...which means these would also be ignored by the masses of sheep, unless they came from the mouths of actors:

"If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their money, first by inflation and then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them (around the banks), will deprive the people of their property until their children will wake up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered."

-- President Thomas Jefferson, Letter 1802 to Secretary of the Treasury, Albert Gallatin

"The financial system has been turned over to the Federal Reserve Board. That board administers a finance system by authority of a purely profiteering group. That system is private, conducted for the sole purpose of obtaining the greatest possible profits from the use of other people's money. This (Federal Reserve) Act establishes the most gigantic trust on Earth. When the president signs this bill, the invisible governments by the monetary power will be legalized. The worst legislatives crime of the ages perpetrated by this banking bill."

-- Congressman Charles Lindbergh Sr., protesting the establishment of the Federal reserve before Congress

"From now on depressions will be scientifically created."

--  Congressman Charles A. Lindberg Sr., protesting the establishment of the Federal reserve before Congress

"Mischief springs from the power which the moneyed interest derives from a paper currency which they are able to control, from the multitude of corporations with exclusive privileges... which are employed altogether for their benefit."

-- President Andrew Jackson

"Unless you become more watchful in your states and check the spirit of monopoly and thirst for exclusive privileges you will in the end find that... the control over your dearest interests has passed into the hands of these corporations."

-- President Andrew Jackson

"The issue which has swept down the centuries and which will have to be fought sooner or later is the People vs. The Banks."

-- Lord Acton, Lord Chief Justice of England, 1875

"I see in the near future a crisis approaching. It unnerves me and causes me to tremble for the safety of my country ... the Money Power of the country will endeavor to prolong its reign by working upon the prejudices of the people, until the wealth is aggregated in a few hands and the Republic is destroyed."

-- Abraham Lincoln, just after the passage of the National Banking Act of 1863

"The eyes of our citizens are not sufficiently open to the true cause of our distress. They ascribe them to everything but their true cause, the banking system; a system, which if it could do good in any form, is yet so certain of leading to abuse as to be utterly incompatible with the public safety and prosperity."

-- President Thomas Jefferson

"A great industrial nation is controlled by its system of credit. Our system of credit is concentrated. The growth of the nation, therefore, and all our activities are in the hands of a few men. We have come to be one of the worst ruled, one of the most completely controlled and dominated Governments in the civilized world, no longer a Government by free opinion, no longer a Government by conviction and the vote of the majority, but a Government by the opinion and duress of a small group of dominant men."

-- President Woodrow Wilson, after signing the Federal Reserve into existence

"Since I entered politics, I have chiefly had men's views confided to me privately. Some of the biggest men in the U.S., in the field of commerce and manufacturing, are afraid of somebody, are afraid of something. They know that there is a power somewhere so organized, so subtle, so watchful, so interlocked, so complete, so pervasive, that they had better not speak above their breath when they speak in condemnation of it."

-- President Woodrow Wilson, after signing the Federal Reserve into existence

"History records that the money changers have used every form of abuse, intrigue, deceit, and violent means possible to maintain their control over governments by controlling money and it's issuance."

-- President James Madison

"Give me control of a nation's money and I care not who makes her laws."

-- Baron Mayer Amschel Rothschild of the Rothschild banking dynasty

"The real truth of the matter is, and you and I know, that a financial element in the large centers has owned the government of the U.S. since the days of Andrew Jackson. History depicts Andrew Jackson as the last truly honorable and incorruptible American president."

-- President Franklin Delano Roosevelt, November 23, 1933 in a letter to Colonel Edward Mandell House

"Banking was conceived in iniquity and was born in sin. The bankers own the earth. Take it away from them, but leave them the power to create money, and with a flick of the pen they will create enough money to buy it back again. However, take away from them the power to create money, and all the great fortunes like mine will disappear and they ought to disappear, for a better world to live in. But, if you wish to remain the slaves of bankers and pay the cost for your own slavery, let them continue to create money."

-- Sir Jostah Stamp, President of the Bank of England in the 1920's, the second richest man in Britain

"The real menace of our Republic is the invisible government which, like a giant octopus, sprawls its slimy legs over our cities, states and nation. At the head is a small group of banking houses... This little coterie...run our government for their own selfish ends. It operates under cover of a self-created screen...seizes...our executive officers... legislative bodies... schools... courts... newspapers and every agency created for the public protection."

-- John Hylan, N.Y. Mayor until 1926

"It is well that the people of the nation do not understand our banking and monetary system, for if they did, I believe there would be a revolution before tomorrow morning."

-- Henry Ford

"Most Americans have no real understanding of the operation of the international money lenders. The accounts of the Federal Reserve System have never been audited. It operates outside the control of Congress and manipulates the credit of the United States."

-- Senator Barry Goldwater

"The few who understand the system will either be so interested from it's profits or so dependent on it's favors, that there will be no opposition from that class."

-- Rothschild Brothers, of the Rothschild banking dynasty

"All the perplexities, confusion and distress in America rise, not from defects in their Constitution or Confederation, not from want of honor or virtue, so much as from downright ignorance of the nature of coin, credit and circulation."

-- President John Adams, in a letter to Thomas Jefferson

"The modern banking system manufactures money out of nothing. The process is perhaps the most astounding piece of sleight of hand that was ever invented."

-- Major L.B. Angus

"By this means government may secretly and unobserved, confiscate the wealth of the people, and not one man in a million will detect the theft."

-- Lord John Maynard Keynes, "Economic Consequences of Peace"

"The liberties of a people never were, nor ever will be, secure, when the transactions of their rulers may be concealed from them."

-- Patrick Henry

"Whoever controls the volume of money in any country is absolute master of all industry and commerce."

-- President James A. Garfield

"Those who create and issue money and credit direct the policies of government and hold in the hollow of their hands the destiny of the people."

-- Rt. Hon. Reginald McKenna, former Chancellor of Exchequer, England

"It is a cruel thought, that, when we feel ourselves standing on the firmest ground in every respect, the cursed arts of our secret enemies, combining with other causes, should effect, by depreciating our money, what the open arms of a powerful enemy could not."

-- President Thomas Jefferson to Richard Henry Lee

Belzer was on the Howard Stern Show this morning

He made a claim that the Federal Reserve killed JFK. I wish people would stick to the facts and what can be proved. Otherwise, those making such claims come off as "wacky" or "nuts". That just the way it is and will always be. I wish conspiracy theorists would take note of this. The facts about the Federal Reserve speak for themselves. You do not have to add unsubstantiated claims. It is self defeating. People disregard everything you have to say. Stick to RP's talking points and you will do fine.

"If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle." Sun Tzu - The Art of War

I've told people for years

I've told people for years what Belzer has but I include it was a reason but not the only reason JFK was offed. Belzer is likely at least in part correct. Another reason often cited is JFK was going to pull out of Vietnam. Interestingly enough the gaggle of cretins who own the FRB also get rich off of war.

Detective John Munch

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Munch

He began on Homicide, Life on the Streets, but has had a longer running gig on Law and Order. His character has made more appearances in other shows than any other. He is credited by his colleagues on L&O SVU as being the resident "conspiracy theorist".

And BTW, Don't Expect Richard Back Anytime Soon

Who is Belzer??

When I saw the clip that was the first I'd ever heard of this guy. Anyone got any info on who he actually is? Haha, sorry if that seems like a stupid question.

He was on "Homocide: Life on the Streets"

A 90's cop show that was filmed in Baltimore. And took all the good parking in Fells Point.

Is he still in Law & Order?

Is he still in Law & Order?

We must get Belzer to our rally on 11/22/09

and as many famous people we can find to support our cause in auditing the Federal Reserve. It will increase our numbers quickly and will force the media to pay attention. Very important in my opinion.

E Pluribus Unum

E Pluribus Unum

I'm all excited now! I was the guy that woke up Dick Belzer!!

When he was on "homocide" the tv show, he used to eat in my restaurant all the time. This was in like 1994-95, so it took a while for him to get an audience, but excellent work Dick!!

That was great,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Maher is thinking ,,,,,How am I going to explain this happening on my show ! OMG its probably going to be on YOUTUBE !!!!

If voting could really change things,
it would be illegal.

I record the Bill Maher show

I record the Bill Maher show every week, just because I like watching his "New Rules" segment. I was kinda fast forwarding through the pannel yesterday when I was watchign it, stopping here and there to see if anything interesting was being discussed. One of the times I stopped, it was at the exact moment Belzer was talking about the Fed. I was amazed someone finally brought this up on Maher's show, but was also very disappointed that Bill changed the subject pretty fast. This is an issue that people like Maher who claim to be so open minded should really bring attention to on their shows.

I despise Bill Maher. He's a

I despise Bill Maher. He's a shill - a sell out. Every once in a great while some truth shines through on his show, despite his efforts to hide it.

Bill Maher

He is truly a NWO Shill. He marvels @ nobel "Peace" prize Obamanation ! Bill Maher is a socialist idiot, who depends on other socialist idiots to expand his Socialist/uneducated idiot world.

Bump that comment

I used to watch him because he was pro legalization and for some of the guests, and I guess he was kinda funny sometimes but once I found the good Dr. I just can't stand him, he makes me sick.
Besides, I cut the movie channels and most of the others from my sat. so I don't watch at all now.

I'd rather die on my feet than live on my knees...
