If John McCain had won the Election?

What would we be doing different in Iraq/Afghanistan if John McCain had won the election instead the anti war candidate Obama?

Very Little!! Obama is the

Very Little!!

Obama is the president of a corporation called United States, there would be a few minor things, but the objective of the company would continue to be the same.
This is like asking the question, "what would Kelloggs do if David Mackay was replaced with Jeff Montie?" Kellogg would continue to make cereal, and other breakfast foods, but no major changes would take place.

The Pendulem Would Swing

A quarter degree to the "right" instead of the "left"

And you, and I, and 99.8 % of this country would still be fraked

nothing...

Didn't you know? The office of President is a puppet position.

FYI- McCain was NOT at Bilderberger, he was never going to be president. Obama and H. Clinton were at Bilderberger when Obama/Hillary slipped away from the press sending them on two planes to Chicago while the anointed ones stayed in D.C. to meet with the Bilderbergers.

If there was

anything real about him or Obama and the BS they spew we would be in a nuclear holocaust. McCain would have bombed the entire middle east and any imagined enemy he could dream up. Mcinsane in charge is a scary thought. But we all know the president is just a puppet. The scariest thing is not knowing who really is running or should I say ruining things.

Why would anything be different?

Obama has expanded the wars, increased spending, overlooked torture, and wants indefinite detention.

Ok, maybe there wouldn't have been a Nobel peace prize waiting for "100 years in Iraq" McCain...

But other than that, what would be different?

I don't think with the dissatisfaction of people over the Iraq war that McCain was intended to win. I think he was insurance for Obama to win. But why?

Could it be so the illusion of opposites going back and forth would propel things forward like moving a heavy item of furniture across the floor?

McSame

Im of the belief that McCain was more or less chosen to fail. Nobody, was as horrible a stage presence as McCain. People by and large viewed him to be the same as Bush, and we all know the popularity Bush has...he is old, not a very charasmatic speaker. He comes off as grumpy, elitist and condescending. And really, doesn't bring any new ideas to the table, except he maybe leans left on a couple issues. Now, flipside. (playing devil's advocate here) They put him up against a handsome(er) intellegent, articulate, charismatic. Did i mention BLACK? Candidate of the opposition party saying all the right things. HMMMM....I found it absolutley hilarious that the GOP thought they had an ice cubes chance in hell during the G.E-
And I thought it was neat how McCain really had no vocal support outside the GOP. His fundraising numbers were atrocious in the beginning to middle of the campaign. Always got next to last in the GOP text polls (they stopped doing them cause Ron Paul kept winning in a landslide)
His campaign website was a joke, polling had him at very low to lowest alot of the time....and yet....magically.....he starts winning primaries. The candidates back out, he raises millions and the GOP throw their support behind him to go up against Smooth-talk Barrack. After all, they HAD to get Barrack in there, i couldn't see anyone else getting away with what he's presided over. Call me paranoid, but i say INSIDE JOB-

agreed -- Obama was handpicked and groomed to win

The perfect multicultural puppet who could hypnotize the mindless masses into thinking he was the Messiah instead of Lucifer's Puppet while sticking it to the people and serving them the same poisonous sh*t stew.

No

Presidents are figureheads without any real power. They answer to a lot of people and if they want to stay out of trouble, they do as they're told.

It has been my

experience that the republicons and democraps produce lies, wars, and debt. I doubt McSame would have offered anything different. After all, their all working for the same guys.

the people I know (typical Republicans) would have . . .

it's hard to be awake; it's easier to dream--

complained that "with a congress like ours" the president couldn't do anything--

IF the president were Republican--

or . . .

that there were just too many "liberals" in the country who were making problems--

or . . .

that the war WILL end--

won't it?

*sigh*

a very scary person, too--both of them, all of them--

scary puppets

I doubt much would be

I doubt much would be different in Iraq and Afghanistan. Iran may have been a bit less ballsy with McCain as president.

We definitely would not have had to worry quite so much about an absolutely disastrous "health plan", as that was always one of McCain's long suites (controlling costs by allowing interstate competition for insurance, not by socializing it or relying on big words he himself doesn't understand, secure in the knowledge that his supporters understand even less. )

He would have continued to harass marihuana growers much more than Obama is doing, as Obama is keeping more of a lid on the feds in this respect than Bush did, and McCain probably would.

Obama Administration continues Raids -- more lies

September 2009 -- "Multiple raids on collectives and dispensaries in San Diego"

"Amy Roderick, a spokesperson for the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency, says the DEA is involved in the raids currently being conducted by the San Diego Police Department and the San Diego Sheriff’s Department on [LEGAL!] medical marijuana dispensaries."

Along with numerous other DEA raids throughout the year, things have not "changed" AT ALL.

Misperception -- Obama is NOT keeping a "lid on the feds" either

If McCain had won we would

If McCain had won we would certainly hear a lot of people complaining it was election fraud (it was anyway), and how wonderful life could be if we would have Obama.

Considering the brainwashed Obama folks, the right person won.

Politically it would be the same.
McCain could not get away with being so openly the bankers bitch.

This is why Obama was (s)elected.

McCain didn't run to win

It was the Democratic party's turn to destroy America from the inside out.

It's not just the war

Bambam and McCain would be doing the same thing about the war. The war isn't the only thing - freedoms are being taken away under bambam at break-neck speed. McCain would have slowed things down a bit but the path is similar.

As I said during the campaign...

Bush is McCain is Obama is Clinton....

Ron Paul was the only candidate without a price tag. The American people are used to things with price tags. They don't know how to deal with an honest product.

So basically, McCain did win the election because the people who funded Johnny's campaign were the same people who funded Obama's campaign.

Hopefully, we're all on the same page now....

I may not know the truth, but I know when I'm being lied to...

We'd probably be doing the

We'd probably be doing the exact same thing... Planning out a strategy to send more troops to the middle east!

Good question.

If John Mclame won we would be fighting Russia by now.
