The state patrol where setting up daytime non-DWI check points down the road from where I live every few weeks.. I got fed up with being pulled over and asked to see my identification etc etc. so I asked them if I was being stopped because of a infraction and if not was I free to go..that totally baffled them and they had to get who ever was in charge to come over so I could repeat myself to them also. They let me go on my way. But two weeks later they where ready for me with some state statue that they said allowed them to randomly pull over people with out cause. I didn't want to fight with them so I gave them my info and told them I would check into the info they gave me.
The officer then proceeded to tell me he should write me a ticket for not having my seat belt on but couldn't because Nebr. state law states that a seat belt infraction is only a secondary infraction and since they pulled me over for no reason he couldn't give me a ticket. I was like hello my point exactly.
I contacted my state senators office and complained about the constant check points and how it was bordering on ridiculous that I would have to leave my house early for appointments in town so I wouldn't be late. I haven't seen a check point there in over a year in a half. :o)

It looks like this only pertains to "permanent checkpoints." Most, if not all, DUI checkpoints are not of the permanent veriety. I think something with even bigger teeth can be written on that topic. ?
What are the chances the cops are going to read the entire thing? I really like this form, yes it could be touched up a bit, but it would be fun to see how it plays out at a DUI stop. Obviously, I won't be drunk or travelling with anything illegal when I try it.

Yeah, my thoughts too.
And that is not even a bash on infowars. I just feel it will lead to more issues and likelyhood of dismissal with it on the bottom for those officers that recognize it.

excellent.. I was stopped at a DUI checkpoint about 2 months ago.. would have loved to have had this.. funny thing is I had my good friend who is a major in the State Patrol with me.. he was pissed that Golden and Arvada and the Jefferson county PD'S did not alert him that they were having this stop. the young arvada cop asked where we were coming from and I told him work.. asked If I had anything to drink and ofcourse I said no ( I don't drink).. we were let on our way.. I asked my buddy if I had to answer the question about where I was coming from and he said no. Thanks for the post...

Some of the "English" is quite improper in the quotes. Were they actual quotes or misquotes?

noticed you got this from Phil Schneider. What a wonderful patriot. He died so we could know.
