Through all the outrageous nonsense of the past nine months and fifteen days, from the bailout bill through cap and trade to the health care debacle, and everything in between, I've never been able to shake the feeling that no one thing has been a goal unto itself, but merely just another step.... to something. But what?
All the while crisis after manufactured crises has been furiously coming at us, always demanding yet another government solution designed to relieve us of a little more freedom and liberty while, at the same time, further empowering and enriching those in Washington, I continued to watch and wait for the other shoe to drop. While the government enacted outrageous (supposed) anti-terrorism measures, I watched and waited. While the government built FEMA camps, I watched and waited. While the government established Northcom and stationed combat troops amongst us, I watched and waited. While the government went out of it's way to hide evidence and, through outrageous assertions of lack of standing, deny the citizens answers to constitutional questions as to the elegibility of the president to hold office, I watched and I waited.
Now it seems the clearly communist agenda is coming to fruition. With the information contained in the following link, I now understand the purpose of everything which has come before, up to and including putting the elegibility court date off until January.
Ladies and gentlemen... the other shoe has finally dropped. Prepare to defend yourselves.

I am a farmer, and anyone with a greenhouse knows that if you want luscious quick growing plants you need lots of CO2. So much that they sell CO2 generators...and they are not cheap. Lowering the CO2 will result in less plant material, and that will result in less pollution, real pollution being taken out of the atmosphere. Hello ice age.

Stern’s remarks at the Major Economies Forum meeting came after U.K. Energy and Climate Change Secretary Ed Miliband said the world’s biggest greenhouse-gas polluters had narrowed gaps in three key areas during two days of talks on climate change.
The U.S., China, European Union and 14 other countries moved closer to agreement on the need for more climate aid for developing nations, on how that money will be managed and on how commitments by developed and developing countries will be reflected in an international agreement, Miliband said.
“We know it’s an uphill battle to get an agreement in December,” Miliband told reporters in London, referring to the UN climate talks in Copenhagen. “It’s more doable today than it was yesterday.” He gave no specifics.

According to the treaty the government will have to report anthropogenic CO2 emissions. Now how are they going to measure that ? By measuring the energy products you buy - Electricity, coal, Natural gas, gasoline, etc.

Treaties need to be ratified by Congress to be effective. Obama cannot independently commit the U.S. to anything. We signed the Kyoto Protocol, but we never RATIFED it. Look it up. This is a nonissue scare.

NAFDA and GATT were similar and they were responsible for millions of jobs lost to Mexico, Southeast Asia and China. As well, the garment industry in the Mariana Islands were just killed off. Thousands were unemployed.
Even if Congress has to ratify it, I don't see it failing - especially when every other country on earth is likely to sign it.

The problem is...
Obama has the ability to call it something else and put We The People in a compromised position by his very signature. From what I have read, he does not even intend to ask for ratification by the Senate. It is very, very difficult to get out of any of these "treaties," "agreements" or whatever it is called..."protocol" perhaps, once signed, so it is right to suggest he must not put his signature to that paper. This loss of sovereignty issue is too important to let others distract us to anything else.
We all know that presidents, republican or democrat, are on the same team behind the scenes, controlled by the same puppet masters. Yes, Obama has been all too happy to knowingly and willfully take the reigns of evil agendas and drive them forward. He should and must be held accountable for it at some point. But the agendas are not his own, and he is by no means the only president willing to take the reigns. The agendas pre-date Obama and have involved many other presidents. Personally, I believe that Obama is a bit more ruthless, cunning and willing to go further than other presidents, but this can be taken up with him later. Almost anyone else in his seat right now would be doing what he's doing. It just so happens that Obama comes when it's time for the agenda to be kicked into high gear – the final push.
So, please, can we just ignore anyone who posts in this thread, trying to lead us astray and bog us down in issues of Obama versus Bush versus anyone else versus political party versus ANYTHING BUT THE ISSUE AT HAND from this point forward?

I spent over an hour trying to respond to some of the things being said on this thread, but ended up deleting it. I will say a little bit of wanted I wanted to say. Obama is in charge now. He is the one whose signature must be stopped on this treaty..not Bush's. To those who keep bringing up Bush...Get over it. He's no longer in power. Folks railed against Bush or praised him for what he did when he was in office. Same thing with Clinton. Now it's Obama's time and so far it appears he is attempting to continue the madness at an unprecedented speed. It is not some nameless person who is potus now. His name is Obama. Get used to hearing it.

A lot of us were active protesting the Bush agenda. I can't tell you how many calls and emails I made to Congress.
Some of us were not aware of what was going on. Many were just living their lives not paying attention to Washington.
Some gave up the fight because it doesn't seem to matter what we do or say or how much we protest nothing changes.
Some were still in high school only concerned about the next date.
The fact that a lot are now aware of the problems in Washington, or are now taking up the fight is immaterial. You have to realize that the past is gone. We are here now, awake, and ready to take up the fight.
Your remarks about where were we are divisive and pointless. Why do you think we spent the better part of the last few years campaigning for Ron Paul and the Campaign for Liberty if not to awake the masses?
