Live Stream Dump

I copied the stream as I was receiving it last night. It's FLV so you'll need to play it with VLC or some other FLV compatible player.

The stream is damaged some and that has made it very difficult to chop it up for youtube AND keep it in sync.

Benton 450 Seats - Overlfow Unknown

Could someone explain where the overflow room was.

Benton holds 450 people so if we know the overflow room then we know the appox count of people there.

If someone ther could describe the overflow crown or room we can get a head count.

Overflow

The overflow was upstairs in a room with video projection. There were two columns of 20 rows with 7 seats each and about a score of people standing around by the walls. So just about 300. I'd say 750 is a sound count of the people in attendance.

I recorded the webcast

but the video went bad. I've converted it into a mp3 file and
uploaded a torrent.

You can find the torrent here:
http://www.mininova.org/t...

Please keep seeding the file, I don't have
a lot of bandwith.

And please report if the torrent works!

What's a torrent?

I downloaded the file, but it's not an mp3. What's a torrent file?
Thanks for the effort, but completely useless to me.

You can't just upload it to YouTube?
Or at least explain how to make use of this torrent file?

Thank you.

the torrent file

can be used with any torrent
client. The download is distributed over
a peer 2 peer system, so that the users share
the load.
You can use free software like vuze/azureus or
other torrent clients to download it. (Open the torrent file with the software)
By the way torrents are pretty popular.

At least one person

downloaded it, so it seems to work. But this person was not kind enough to keep uploading the file, which is very unfortunate. Please, download and seed.
I can't stay online forever.

aaaaaaaaggggggggghhhhhhhhhh please post video. Calling Mr Frasee Stuck in British Isles desperate for glimpse of Freedom.

Running in 2012

won't matter if fraudulent elections continue. Voting machines, the shenanigans with the ballots in New Hampshire. Unless the people running these illegal activities are slammed and slammed hard and the people paying them for their dishonesty nothing will change. We've got to come down on these people in unison. Be aware and demand transparency.
If they tell you that you cannot watch a count make sure you have at least 100 people that will yell and scream till it is done. These people use all means of intimidation, make sure to use more of your own. Remember there are FAR MORE of us than there are of them.

Ron Pauls visit to Iowa sign of a 2012 -Des Moines Examiner

Although Paul says it is too early to begin thinking about the 2012 race, a visit to the first-in-the-nation caucus state is an indicator that he is laying the groundwork for a potential run. Paul is not alone. Potential GOP 2012 contenders Mike Huckabee, Tim Pawlenty, and George Pataki all made appearances in Iowa during the past week

any chance of a video

Hey Young Americans (for Liberty) great job, any chance of a video? Couldn't view the stream for some reason. And Carolina as well please it's desperate over here in Briish Isles gulag especially waiting for Ron Paul events. Much obliged if YAL or anyone could post a video.

Viva the LOVE solution Freedom revolution

Just Got Back From Ames

It was a very large crowd. We got there 30 minutes before it began and the auditorium was almost full. 15 or 20 minutes prior, they had to close the doors and send everybody else to another room to watch the speech on a monitor. Guess it pays to show up early.
RP seemed to have a lot of energy - I think the Revolution he began is really firing him up. This is in contrast to the first time I saw him in Des Moines the night before the Iowa caucuses, where he seemed a little more worn down.
As always, the speech was outstanding.

Thanks for the report

I'll be checking the local paper sites down there (I'm just north of you in Minnesota) to see how it was covered. Did you see any of the local TV stations in the auditorium?

I didn't see any TV cameras

I didn't see any TV cameras in the auditorium. Possibly could have been somewhere that I couldn't see them, but I doubt it. There was an Iowa State basketball game right next door in Hilton Coliseum going on so they probably had to be there to cover the "important" news.

An overflow crowd for Dr. Paul at the auditorium while

a home basketball game was going on-THAT'S IMPRESSIVE!

He hinted at the possibility

He hinted at the possibility of a false flag attack to involve us in another war.

Now Dr. Paul is answering questions at 9:12 EST.

He was energetic and well-spoken tonight! I thoroughly enjoy listening to this patriot. Thanks to our Creator for Ron Paul!

Dr. Paul hitting some strange notes here.

It's great...but at times it felt like Dr. Paul was doing a stand up routine...interesting use of sarcasm. Probably not ideal for an Iowa audience but still fun to watch!

He didn't rule out 2012 - just said it was a long way off! He'll run for his Congress seat again next year, however. Go Ron Paul!

Woot!

It's live! Great opening video...

I'm going...

It's 3 hours away and even leaving the clinic early will barely give us enough time to get there by 7:00 PM. My son and daughter are going too. (Yes, they still are alive after receiving the H1N1 vaccine. ;) )

I just noticed that the fund raiser tomorrow is for a candidate from my home town of Indianola, Iowa. (I'm IHS class of '68. Go Indians! http://www.indianola.k12.... )

Give us the report when you

Give us the report when you get back!

Thanks.

Here's hoping for a higher quality stream

I haven't seen a link on the YAL site yet. BTW the YAL seem to be doing an amazing job. On their 'Chapters' page it says: "Young Americans for Liberty has already established a presence on 176 college and high school campuses." Impressive.

This may be a sign that Ron Paul

is considering another run, now that ALL the pundits that brushed him aside for their worn out candidate McCain, have begun to realize that ole Dr. Paul is a little smarter than they were told by the party bosses. Last time around, Dr. Paul was fairly easy to sweep aside. Not many knew of him, and his doctrine is a so un-Washington like, but the main reason was he had a pretty lame campaign staff. This time around, age allowing, maybe he can get some professional managment behind the campaign. Grassroot people, everywhere, endorse his views. It's only the party bosses, and career politicians that are afraid of him. Unfortunately, they control the media too.

We need more comments!

Show the IowaRepublican.com website who is the most popular conservative Republican by posting comments on their article.

The NeoCons are doing their worst with their comments.

http://theiowarepublican....

I would comment except...

their comments section shows the oldest comments first.
Why bother since no one is going to scroll to the bottom to read a new comment.
The twerps that commented early are going to remain at the top of the list forever.

I'm heading there with 2 fellow Paulians Friday morning! We've decided to stay in town and visit a local pub or two that evening, and see if we can't meet up with some fellow freedom loving peeps and toss a couple back.

Very pumped!

YAL

is organizing some great events these days.

Thanks for all your efforts!

Yes they are - they are an awesome group!

.

There is one thing Paul has that

neither Huckabee , Palin or even Romney have. None are DC insiders .Remember Mccain won and he was a DC insider. Now Paul is not an insider but he closer to DC then the others .Huckabee is running for sure. I cant see Palin running ,shes just not ready and I think she knows it..Romney might, but he lost alot of his own money last time and his family is begging him not to.If there is any inkling of an econmic recovery all these candidates will get slaughtered by Obama and I think they know it .

If Palin ever had a chance (doubtful), I think she ruined it

by quitting her governorship. I believe Romney will run if he's told to, and if you listen to what Dr. Paul has been saying, there's no chance of an inkling of an economic recovery, quite the opposite.

Be sure to invite Ed Failor

And all the other Iowans for Tax Relief! Ho ho!

Seriously ...

You Iowans should pound them to come. This is a great idea. And very funny as well.

Great news!

Maybe my old post is gaining legs???

http://www.dailypaul.com/...

wow, that's great!

and you know, this is one of the things "candidates" do when they
are running for office or something like that. i think i read it here.
could this mean that ron is going to run?

i still have the ames iowa newspaper photo collage pic of ron on my
living room wall.
