I'd throw Chuck Baldwin in there, I've webbed into his sermons on Sundays and they are tremendous. Nothing here in Houston, Tx on regular FM radio is worth a damn, that includes KPFT (Pacifica) they're trash, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THESE LYING BASTARDS. Their great till you mention something of substance then they do an Amy Goodman impersonation.
AM George Noory..Might be someone else but I don't even listen to it anymore. It has gone the way of most of my television viewing.
I know at one point, in the Rally for the Republic, there was a fairly strong movement to create our own media. Without it to offset the Democratic liberal mainstream and the Republican liberal fringe media, our odds of success are much lower.
I was REALLY hoping that some sort of CfL show (if only internet based) existed. I guess we'll have to make due with Ron Paul interviews.
Anyway, thanks for responding to this thread. As someone put it, it is a pretty shallow thread; however, I think we have learned about some interesting local hosts out there.
My favorites are:
1.Dave Ramsey (debt is evil)
2. Gary Null (health specialist with a serious political bite)
3. Nada
It is sad that there are only two guys that have big shows that I really like.
As far as political propagandists go, I like Michael Savage. He's the most entertaining and hits the nail on the head about many important issues (albeit obnoxious and an Israel firster)).
Besides the CfL website, do we have any thing else that is 'official'?
the fact that he has the highest rated show in alaska gives me a lot of hope for this state, I'd love to meet him in person and see were the conversation goes over a few beers, a true Alaskan, a True patriot, and a modern day founding father from what I've heard.
“One of the penalties for refusing to participate in politics is that you end up being governed by your inferiors.” Plato
here with a man named Harvard Jennings, but he is not syndicated. He should be for how well he deals with the ignorant people that call in. He claims to be progressive, but most of his commentaries boil down to supporting civil liberties (hard to explain).
He talked a lot about Ron Paul during the primary (good things), and wanted to interview him, but it did not pan out.
I called in the other day and asked him what he thought about HR 1207 and he had never heard of it. Then I told him about Auditing the Federal Reserve and he replied that he thought the IRS should be audited because they audit us.
At that point I realized he was not as educated as I expected, and asked him if he would read Ron Paul’s book END THE FED. I mailed him a copy, and I would bet he read it, but I do not listen enough to know if he mentioned it. I actually have not listened since that last time I just spoke about.
I guess since finding Ron Paul and Peter Schiff, and the rest, I read and follow them on the web and focus mostly on economics and liberty.
Not even George Noory ? He knows what's going on and does shows about it all the time. Alex Jones is semi regular. Sorry Alex is assertive WE ALL need to be more assertive.
and thats just because he says clever funny things about stuff. If theres actually a host out there that isnt a show-boating, lying, sides-switching , shape-shifting, corporation shilling, media whore...by all means paste a link.
Has for a long time been Ken Hamblin. He is no longer in the biz, as far as I know, but I found his opinions refreshing and his vitriol to be equally enjoyable. He will always have my respect for his work in radio, and journalism.
2 and 3 on the list are occasional subs on the Limbaugh show: Drs' Thomas Sowell and Walter Williams. These men have more individual knowledge of economics than the whole of Congress, and are entertaining to listen to.
I like Bill Moyers, even though he is a lefty - he is one of the best interviewers, respectful regardless of how he sees things - his interview with Ron Paul was very good.
I don't really have a third I guess. I watch Beck, but wouldn't say I like him.
I am learning to listen, think, discuss and move on. Maybe, we shouldn't listen to anyone person. Maybe, we need lots of sources. When they back the wars I know they are on the wrong path. I don't know if they are shills or just not informed. I don't want to be to tight with any of the talking heads. I just want information to digest, the personality means nothing.
OK, I can't resist. Merv Griffin, Johnny Carson and Tom Snyder
Because at long last, they finally quit lying. :)
Don't forget Mike Douglas!
I may not know the truth, but I know when I'm being lied to...
Forgot about Judge Napolitano

I'm surprised there is no verbal Campaign for Liberty media

The Daily Paul has now dropped the ball.
Discussing favorite talk show hosts. ?? Seriously?
The guy who started this thread thinks it's idiotic to purchase precious metals.
What ever happened to discussing which of the founding fathers is our favorite and why.
I feel the loss of IQ for even having to comment on this.
3 Way Tie...
Chris Matthews, Sean Hannity and Bill O'Reilly.
I love to throw bricks at the T.V.

3 fave hosts
good question.........hmmmm
1. None
2. Nobody
3. Never heard of him
I do however like the Stossel pieces, but he's not a host.
Aphrodite

Noory
Never heard of him. I'll check him out.
Radio or tv? I like the Ron
Radio or tv?
I like the Ron Smith Radio show on WBAL1090, the #1 talk show in Bmore. He is a Ron Paul voter/supporter.
#2 would be Kudlow(TV) on CNBC. Very interesting show.
#3 is the Michael Savage show because it is funny, but I stopped listening to it after he sold out and endorsed McCain/Ignored Ron Paul
honorable mention to Lou dobbs, never watch it but I like Lou dobbs.
I mostly listen to the LRC Podcasts, Peter Schiff's online radio show, and Freedom Watch though.
Im down to Jon Stewart
and thats just because he says clever funny things about stuff. If theres actually a host out there that isnt a show-boating, lying, sides-switching , shape-shifting, corporation shilling, media whore...by all means paste a link.

There are no talk show hosts...
I don't know of any nor do I want to. There is no television.
I don't think there is.
