Ron Paul Poll for 2012

TCU Nation is conducting a poll of who would be the most conservative presidential choice for the 2012 election. There seems to be many RINOS voting and those voting for Sarah Palin. Help me open some eyes to these people and send them a message that Ron Paul is the only candidate on their poll worthy. The poll is at http://answers.polldaddy....

The Revolution is alive and well!!! The campaign for Ron Paul will not relent until he is elected and the republic can be restored.

3 Phase Poll:
ROUND 1 - Oct 27 - Nov 3
ROUND 2 - Nov 3 - Nov 10 (TOP 5)
ROUND 3 - Nov 10 - Nov 17 (TOP 2)

Who are these

Palin people. Can't even imagine. They are just media monkeys. I thought the latest scandal about Palin calling her son a "retard" would put an end to her phony popularity and apparently her almost son-in-law has much worse things to say about her. He also said that there is very little parenting going on in that household. Everyone has their own little busy interests and don't have time for children.

Bump. Run RON, RUN!

Watch Out!!!

Palin has gained a lot of ground since I last checked and Ron Paul has fell in the poll. Paul is now at 44% when he was at 49% Palin has climbed to 27% when she was only 22%. It would be nice to see him finish Round 1 of their poll with more than 50% of the votes. We need to find some more votes for Ron. We want to show those TCU Nation folks that Ron Paul is the candidate for the Republican ticket...he has no equal.

Palin is gaining ground

Palin's percentage is increasing and Paul's is starting to fall. You all know what to do.

You know what to do bump.

You know what to do bump.

A little off subject but I

A little off subject but I came across an excellent defense and explanation to the TCUnation folk about Ron's stance on drug laws. I thought I'd bump and share it:

from poster Jim Robinson:

"Yes, let's be clear about Ron Paul and examine his beliefs and record a little more closely before you make "blanket" statements that are not all together true. Ron Paul, for example, has never supported legalizing drugs for recreational use but genuine medical use. There is a difference here. While he is personally against any form of recreational drug use, government legislation against drugs really has not stopped the problem because people want it and will get it anyway they can - even if it means doing so violently and illegally. But this is a topic for another forum!

And, like it or not, it is not the Government's place to regulate every facet of our private lives. The Constitution does not give either the Federal Government or the State governments blanket authority to violate the "sovereign rights" of any citizen in this country. And there are issues of personal rights that do not fall under the realm of government regulation. Like it or not, and I personally do not, we cannot legislate away all sins and vices under our constitutional form of government and remain true to the Constitution. This is Ron Paul's record, and he has been very consistent about it over his years in Congress - which is certainly better than most members in Congress can say."

not bad and hard to argue with.

if we used 1/1000th of the

if we used 1/1000th of the "drug war budget" on real education and treatment and with drew all prohabition laws this country would greatly benifit as a whole.

this regulatory nonsense is over the top, why is HGH illegal? its praticaly the fountain of youth? why are Steroids illegal? they are prescribed in thousands of medicines, and yet ilegal for people to use? why is DNP illegal? its praticaly the cure to obesity and was used for years in this country! why is cannabis illegal, it has hundreds of industrial uses as well as medical and recreational.

why? I personaly thing it is due to special intrest groups medling in government via lobbiests, if any law needs to be written, it is to make lobbying illegal and have dire consiquences for the combination of government and anyspecial intrest group.

lets let adults be adults, if you want to take 12 asprin you go right a head, just because it will kill you does that mean we should make it illegal?!

I love seeing that. It of course means go and vote, nothing else.

Palin is gaining ground

Ron Paul has dropped from 49% to 45% in the poll. Palin has increased her percentage to 23%. She has gained some ground on us, but RP is still ahead.

vote yo

McCain 0%

Somehow the guy who "won" the 2008 presidential primary (only about 12 months) ago can only scrounge up 3 votes out of 1,800. Dick freakin' Cheney has 5X more votes.

Yes, peculiar isn't it? That Cheney got any votes at all...

..is odd enough, but when McCain's votes can be counted on one hand in a poll like this after he supposedly won the last primary, that should cause one to raise an eyebrow.

...just voted...

...RON PAUL at 48%...

...Thanks for posting this fleshmj...

It's getting UGLY!!!

People on TCU Nation are accusing Ron Paul of being a racist. These people will stoop to any level.

sweeeeeeeeeeeeet

You are all awesome!!!

You are driving the neo-con RINOS crazy in TCU Nation. They are dumbfounded.
Watch out, Romney supporters are starting to do what we have did and he is gaining ground fast.

Make this a wake-up call to these people. Without a Republican nomination of Ron Paul in 2012, they can kiss the next election goodbye. We will not vote for any RINO!!!

Keep the good work!!!! Also there are two more rounds to go.

Fleshmj~ what do you mean?

"Romney supporters are starting to do what we have did"

??? What are you suggesting that "we have did?"

Liberty_Belle, I am

Liberty_Belle,
I am suggesting that "what we had did" became alerted, networked, and started voting like crazy. That is all. Palin's votes are increasing too, but not at the rate that Ron Paul is gaining votes. We don't have to cheat to win on this poll or any other time. We will have to use some new tactics for 2012 to get Ron through the primary so he can receive the nomination. Preparation for that time is now.

Mass voting!

Liberty_Belle, I am guessing it is a reference to the "you know what to do" comments when one of "ours" posts information about a poll like this.

So, if the Romney folks do this--surely there are more of us than them!

The bigger issue, in my opinion, is that those talk show folks (all day drive down I-5 yesterday, so I tuned in a bit, something I otherwise never do) are blethering about the GOP putting up someone in 2012 who is not a sitting office holder and the names thrown out were Romney, Palin, Huckabee, Gingrich. Puleeeeese!

Looks like the job remains the same: somehow get and keep our man in public media view.

These MSNM folks are really powerful. Witness the sea change polling results in the King County Executive race in Washington.

How to...

If you are using the most recent version of Firefox you should have something called Delete Recent History in tools. What you do is vote once then delete all cookies from the last hour and vote again, note that just refreshing won't do because they bring you to a new unique page after voting, you have to manually return to the voting page. This can be done by trimming off the rest of the url behind the unique number. I was able to vote more then once this way. If you know how to sniff headers you can streamline this process but like I said I won't go into that, should be self explanatory if you know how to sniff 'em.

Edit: Sweet, I was allowed to vote again, voted about 70 times more before being blocked again.

Edit2: Was able to vote another 90 times.

I just visited the poll

I just visited the poll again and clicked VIEW POLL RESULTS to see how Ron Paul was doing and was pleasantly surprised. I voted ONCE earlier. Now I know that I have to subtract at least 160 votes because of your tactics and likely more because of others practicing the same thing.

Do you want to know how Dr. Paul is really doing, or what?

Do you think that if people visit the poll and someone they may not have even heard of has unreasonable popularity they are going to consider it a valid poll. What are you trying to accomplish? I suppose it is possible someone might be intrigued by that but I really doubt it will help the movement, actually I believe it will hurt the movement.

We were accused of rigging polls in the primaries and it was all over the news, but when we raised 6 million in one day, something clearing your history or programming a robot could never do, it barley got any press.

I want to sincerely know how Ron Paul is doing. I highly recommend only voting once.

Ron Paul actually got removed from some of the polls in the 2008 primary because your IP is also recorded and usually the TTL on your IP is about 30 days even if you release/renew (depending on your ISP), and he was removed from the poll because of fraud.

I am sure other people will also cheat, but we do not have to go to their level. The truth will be told by the grassroots support, and things like volunteers and donations.

I will leave you with this thought. Dr. Paul is an honest man. Do you think he would want anyone to attempt to rig a poll?

Also the MSM knows about this site and will drool over your post and ignore the folks asking you to simply be honest. While they don't mention the site by name, they do let people know about the tactics.

Please don't misunderstand me. I welcome anyone that supports liberty and the Constitution so I am not trying to piss you off. I just want to know how Ron Paul is really doing.

seriously dumuh, knock it

seriously dumuh, knock it off. And for crying out loud quit posting about it here, no one wants to be associated with your dirty tactics. All those guests that read the DP, they're not all friendly and consider it christmas when they find such asinine posts. Like you said, these polls don't really matter much, so there's no need to risk Ron Paul's good name for them through your actions.

The reason I'm doing this is

The reason I'm doing this is because if Ron Paul wins this even without stuffing, they'd blame it on spammers and say Sarah should have won, probably discontinuing this poll entirely. If anyone but Ron Paul won they'd just bicker amongst themselves and talk about how great their candidate is. This poll has no relevance either way.

Now for my voting stats...

200 - My initial stuffing got somewhere around there before it was blocked.
70 - My second string.
90 - Third string.

I've done it a few more times(Safe to say he'd be at about the same level as Sarah Palin assuming you haven't read the next part of this) but I also gave a few votes to Sarah to balance it out more, but either way she's going to the second round with Ron, I'll leave that poll alone unless I'm absolutely needed.

Thanks for sabbotaging our future polling efforts.

We already had an undeserved reputation for spamming polls. Now you legitimize that reputation with your posts here.

You've been a member for 30 weeks with no posts whatsoever until yesterday where you pop up out of the blue and tell us that you are rigging polls and give us how-to lessons.

With exception of your Ted Bundy comment on the camera stalker thread, these provocateur-type posts are your only posts.

Our critics do read our posts here, dumuh.

If you are really a RP supporter, please stop this nonsense.

I said I would stop. If we

I said I would stop. If we lose next round though I could care less, we'll just give them neocons something to brag about and the only reason I'm posting now is because someone on RPF directly linked here.

Edit: And aren't you the one who thinks 300 votes in 5 minutes was legitimate?

You thought 300 votes in that time span was mysterious.

I don't think it is so mysterious when you consider that the poll was disseminated to a large number of RP activists at one time.

As I said below, there are at least that many people on here at any given time(432 even as I type this). When the poll thread went up, those people may have clicked on the link to vote in the poll, just like I did.

Also, since people who post things here often post on other forums, that means you have information being disseminated to an even greater amount of people at one time.

I don't know if the 300 votes you saw in 5 minutes was legit or not, but it is easily explainable.

HOWEVER, that is NOT the same thing as multiple voting.

There is nothing wrong with a bunch of people going over to vote in a poll, but multiple voting is cheating.

Thank you for ceasing.

meh

I voted once, as usual.

dumuh~ a very transparent attempt

by you to try and "invalidate" the poll.

Ummm.... why do I smell something fishy here?

Member for 6 months, and the ONLY post is one that will discredit Dr. Paul's numbers in this poll. Nice quotes too for the MSM..... hmmmmm

Think what you will, online

Think what you will, online polls have about as much validity as diebold machines. They are simply there for my amusement, I did the same thing with the NPR poll and I'm going to do it here.

My low post count can be explained by the fact that I spend more time on RPF then DP and only posted this info here because RPFers tend to be less enthusiastic about poll stuffing.

PS. If you think the MSM gives to shits about this poll, the site sponsoring it or the site hosting it, you're discrediting yourself.

Can I guess?..... are you about 15 - 18 years old?

Had to come and play at DP because the RPF guys don't like you either? Talk about "discrediting yourself"..... this is very sad.

I didn't even pitch the idea

I didn't even pitch the idea of poll stuffing to them, I knew they wouldn't go for it and I only told you guys about it after the fact. You can keep telling yourself that Ron mysteriously gained 300 votes in less then 5 minutes though.

300 votes in a matter of minutes is no mystery...

...as there are usually at least that many people logged on here at any given time.

But multiple voting is not cool. :(

If, as you suggest, the polls have no real validity and the MSM does not care about them, then there is no point in multiple voting.

If someone exposes the multiple voting, that reflects badly on us and our candidate.
