Question For The Religious And Readers
When I had my garage sale a few weeks ago. I got to talking to a neighbor who lives down the road. I started talking about the NWO and everything, she nodded her head and said I have a book for you to read. She ran home and gave me a book titled "Left Behind" by Tim LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins.
Well, I read the book and almost dirty my pants. It is a religious fiction but they were talking about what WE talk about here. I had my husband read it and he was amazed also. This is a series and we went to the library and got three more books, they are thick books and we are reading them in two days time. Wanting to know what happens next. This is creepy right now I am reading the third book "Nicolae" and World War three has started and do you know how it started? American Militias and our President fighting a global take over by the UN and the anti christ. This is nuts!
Has anyone else read these books? Even if your not religious there is an element in this book that you might find fascinating. The first book came out in 1995 and it must have been a huge seller. I am trying to figure out if the people who wrote this book had any inside information and if they are trying to use propaganda to lead people or if they are sincere.
My views on religion and God is that I just don't know but I hope.

Code etc. have the smell of apparatchik to them and you can take it whatever way you wish, but be careful of the M.O. of those who commissioned them. They are no dummies.
We know the 'new age movement' was engineered by covert factions of social engineers. The one book that comes to mind that was just unbelievably stinky, was 'A Course In Miracles'. Talk about misleading. It was like taking drugs.

used at Amazon reallyCheap cuz they're old books and they also made a movie with Kurt Cameron in it that I haven't seen yet, but the books are almost prophetic! I read them 2 years ago and couldn't put them down, a problem I often have when I pick up a good book. But seriously, there a A LOT of parallels in those books, it's eerie, and if nothing else, they're very entertaining and full of adventure! Full of history too.
I think I'll start re-reading them again, the last book, "Kingdom Come" was awesome, and I hope this all comes true! I am still confused on the issue of Rapture, whether Christians will be raptured before the 7 year tribulation, or during the first 3 1/2 years, or not at all depending on who you listen to and what you read. I sure don't want to be around when those things come to pass during the last 3 1/2 years of the Great Tribulation, but these books are based on Revelations in the Bible. "The Indwelling" was pretty intense also, "Soul Harvest" and "Apollyon, The Destroyer is Unleashed"! "The Remnant, On the Brink of Armegeddon" was also great. Happy reading!
Are you reading them in order? I've bought the used paperbacks at Amazon cuz the library didn't have them and I HAD to finish the series! They were like brand new and I only paid about $0.99 - $4 per book. I look at it this way, as a born again Christian, I have nothing to loose by believing in Christ as our Lord and Savior, but everything to loose if I miss the boat and refuse to believe as others have and do, but that is every person's personal decision to make for themselves, Free Will.
I know that I know that I know that when I was in a bad car accident 5 years ago, I wouldn't be here right now, and neither would my daughter if I had not heard a distinct male voice tell me "take your foot OFF the brake and turn your wheel to the right NOW~just before a Ford F-150 creamed me while I was stopped at a red light! There were 5-6 cars stopped in front of me so I would have had NO CHANCE of surviving the way I look at the probability. The 16 year old kid had his license about 4 months, was driving to school, talking on his cell phone and hit me at about 45-50 mph! Florida No-Fault Insurance is a SCAM!
My brother is a proclaimed agnostic, but when I told him of this experience, he said his hair stood up on his neck! I was driving a Kia Sephia (small car, similar to a Toyota). The policeman thought he would have to use the jaws of life to extract me from the car when he heard the call come over the radio! My daughter bumped her head on the back of the front seat and I was banged up a bit more (he tried to avoid hitting me when realized so he impacted mostly the driver's side of the car). I was treated and released from the hospital the same day! Unfortunately, my car didn't fare so well, the trunk was basically gone and they totalled the car.
I've had a few other incidents throughout my life but have never heard anyone speaking to me. I KNOW how crazy that must sound to many people, but I wouldn't go out on a limb if I didn't believe with every fiber of my being! He just missed the gas tank (full) by a few INCHES and we were sent careening across 3 lanes of traffic without getting hit again after just getting off of I-95 at 7 am rush hour! The odds of being hit again were very high!

I don't know if I want to read them all, there is so much information below I figure I would just start reading everything recommended on this thread. The bible is good for people that believe in Abrahammic religion, for the rest of us that are trying to live in the 21st Century it is useless but to give stories and in some cases lessons.

Of course politicians rely on people of faith to do nothing and wait for armageddon, like they always have, because it serves them well. Every 5-10 years throughout history people have claimed armageddon was nigh, imminent, we are all doomed.
It is the 21 Century now, it was supposed to happen in 2000, and then 2001 because that is when the calendar actually starts...and nothing happened.
Face the real world not the imaginary world that can not be proven and we do not live in. If it is there waiting for you fine but don't rely on anything that you can't experience to come help you - rather try to do what you can now such as learn the real facts and speak to that.
More people will not listen if your facts are wrapped in religious undertones, overtones, contexts, philosophies. They already have their minds made up about God, our world, and the end of it coming from the sky and pearly gates opening.
That's my two cents. I know it may be abrasive but it is real. Please don't take offense but Nostradamus can be made to seem like a prophet too, and people used to believe in witchcraft, and the church wanted to protect people from dragons.
Is the point to prevent armageddon or welcome it? If you are a believer you will welcome it, because then you will be proven right. How twisted is that - wanting the end of the world to come so you can be right and sanctimonious. And if you are a believer and are wrong you will have done nothing other than be a sheep. Sheep are not very smart in case people weren't aware of that.
I'd rather protect myself and my family by making sure people know how to vote and learn civics and economic history and human history.

dismiss the Bible on the grounds that it is not relevant for today, then dismiss it because you dont like the fact that it is relevant for 20% of the worlds population. Besides I did not say that popularity makes something right, I did say it made it real. For example just because obama won the election by popular vote did not make it right but it made it real. If I dismissed that it would be stupid, the same way it would be stupid of me to dismiss muslims because they are wrong, I still have to respect them because they are very sincere in their belief, why should I make an enemy. The same way I could say that the creationist out number the atheist, that doesnt prove a thing, and I am not going to dismiss them just because of that, but I also have to remember their beliefs are very real to them, so I will try not to get nasty when I discuss this stuff with them.
Second I know the guys that are going to china and india and proclaiming the good news of Christ, they are not condeming they witnissing. Besides it is your choice whether you reject Christ or not.

The bible is past, present and future. That is the "inside" info used for these movies. The bible does not contain any false prophecies, though many trash it as mythology. Many like myself view it as the literal word of god. Everything happening right now in this society is just part of gods plan. Right now this world belongs to satan and it will continue to grow towards one world. The "anti christ" will be given authority over all living peoples. The greek word for "mark" is "charagma". A charagma was a roman imperial stamp with the name and year of the emperor. It was used on various trade documents certifying a sale. The word can also represent the likeness of the emperor stamped on coinage. Also interesting that Nero's name can be numerically represented as 666. He also encouraged emperor worship and claimed to be equal with all gods.
But what you just described
was a stamp for documents...it was NOT a mark on/in the right hand or forehead.

I am suspicious of these people; they are very 'two party' system, and they are supportive of an agenda which takes power from Americans and gives it to Zionists.

Look how quickly many Christian lined up to go to war in the Middle East without a draft. They didn't want to be "left behind." The MSM storyline echoed the Left Behind storyline. Their misbegotten fervor has left millions of lives devastated.

We as individuals are made in God’s likeness, it is said. God tells Moses, “I shall prove to be who I shall prove to be.”

Those that crucified Christ thought they were doing good in the eyes of God. The rulers and priests of the day were thought by the people to be righteous but in fact they sought to silence God.

Example ... Bush was only testing the water with his "Preemptive Wars" (and evil concept of killing innocents to prevent a hypothetical). Beware that most Christians in America now think that "Preemptive Wars" is some kind of conservative value. They accept it even if the killing is really about keeping Iraqi Oil in the ground so BP can can control the flow to market.
"Preemptive Wars" is in fact no more a conservative principle than nailing your savior to a cross to shut Him up so to protect the traditional synagogue / church 501c3 racket.
Warning... People are already well deceived! This series of book is in fact part of the deception because it will not be clear to those who are deceived or who are reading who is good and who is bad. In the end days bad will be good and good will be bad.
Read your Bible and ask God (he is your Father, and only perfect one). In other words seek Him and He will find you and He will show you the way personally. Don't look to people, look to God. Don't look to the left behind series, look to God.
Clearly you are already on the right track because you see already the corruption we are up against.. You are here. And you don't have to be a Christian to know right from wrong. There are several parallel writings and thoughts about how the next transformation happens, same as the last time it happened.
Don't hide behind the shield of your personal ~proven~ religion on what is coming up... follow your heart.

To those who have an iron-clad version of your religion written by other people and proven time and time again by other people's writings, here is your wakeup call. Those other people are not you and cannot interpret your relationship with your God or Gods. Make it personal... stop lipsynching.

Take some personal responsibility for your faith... don't project it into a ~faith~. Jesus, among others, tells you all about it. Take the time to figure it out.

and simplest format, the commodity if you will, by which religion sells people on things. If you are a believer you have less "sin" therefore your good level, your commodity of good, is high. The more you believe in their teachings the more "rich" you are with their own brand of good. Most religions work this way. If you are Jewish the more you adhere to the literal meaning of a the torah the better of a Jew you are and are more good in the eyes of god. For Muslims it is the Koran. The fundamentalists of each religion believe that they must follow the books literally and thus break modern day laws preventing slavery, pedophilia, misogyny, proper medical care, etc.
Good or evil need not exist for people to understand their own moral obligation. Being moral and ethical is a protection by itself from so called evil. If you are good that is all you need to worry about and not that religion or people in your religious community think you are good.
Since religious fundamentalists don't believe in evolution there is no point in pointing out that people are animals like dogs and there are no evil dogs, nor cats, nor sharks, none of them. There are no evil animals in the world and all the demons have never been proven and there are no dragons and evil serpents that speak.
And personal responsibility has nothing to do with spreading the faith. That is not personal at all really. Personal responsibility is saying, hey maybe my faith is not perfect let me find a way to improve it, let me find its flaws, let me make sense of it, let me not try to convince people it is right for them but instead just let it be right for me and make it work to put good in my own part of the world. Preaching about religion only brings like-minded people together and repels those that aren't like-minded. If repelling others is what you believe to be good I'm sorry for you.

Please dont be one of those people that are like I am smart and you are dumb. Just because you say that believing in good and evil makes you dumb doesnt make it so. Why do you think it makes you dumb to believe in good and evil. Also I am not sure what you mean by external good and evil please explain.

Do you mean do something with it (I do preach in the jails, and do other things in the church on a volunteer basis) do you mean fess up for what "christianity" has done, I am a baptist and if you read foxes book of martyrs you will see I really dont have much to fess up about, do you mean something else? I have no idea where you are going on this one. I will chalk it up to you just being tired, or so used to being around some idea you forgot some of us dont listen to the same guys you do and need to be filled in on all the little details.

I have a religious question about socialism
Is Christianity ideologically more compatible with socialism or capitalism? Michael Moore made a point that socialism was more compatible with Christianity in his movie "Capitalism: A Love Story". Even long before watching his propaganda film, I thought about that issue and concluded that Christianity was more compatible with socialism; even though I'm neither a socialist or a Christian.
Is it possible to be a true Christian and a socialist? If so, then how?
The Bible has a great deal
The Bible has a great deal to say about personal property. When people claim it is "socialist-leaning" you may as well recognize you're listening to someone who is not familiar with the context.
The one example I've heard over and over from socialists is when the apostles distributed gifts to the Christians in Jerusalem during a famine. BUT, it is important to note that these gifts were FREELY donated by the people who owned them, whether it was money from land sold, or clothing, etc. Wealth confiscated and distributed by the government is an entirely different matter.
The other phrase that people misuse is "render unto Caesar..." What people fail to see is that, under our system of government, the individual is Caesar and the government is supposed to be the servant.
