If I'm not mistaken, Barney Frank is up for re-election soon. On health care reform, he included a "public option." I've read somewhere from analysts that he supported a public option because he needs the support of the far-left in his voting district in order to get re-elected.

What does this have to do with auditing the fed? Well, the sponsor of S. 604, Federal Reserve Sunshine Act of 2009, is socialist Bernard Sanders. He is a big supporter and he is about as "far left" as it gets in the US Senate.

Is there anyway to rally up support from the far left on this issue to put pressure on Barney Frank (he needs the far-left for re-election) and other Democrats?

***Interesting note: I just watched Michael Moore's, "Capitalism: A Love Story" last night while drinking Pepto-Bismol. Bernard Sanders appeared in the movie to define socialism. I forgot that the man was a socialist until last night.

Okay...so 1207 has been gutted by the person representing the 2nd largest banking district in America.

And we are tired of the banksters right?

So rather than writing Watt, or any other party, how about if we get everyone we know to close their Bank of America account AND present a simple declarative letter to Watt's corporate masters (at account closing) stating that our accounts are being closed by WE THE PEOPLE in protest.

We have to become aggressive and take actions that get the attention of the men behind the curtain...and that send a clear and compelling warning that WE ARE AWAKE and organized in our resistence to their dominion over our government, our financial well being and our liberties.

Since money is THEIR master, we can play their game back on them.

There is only one thing that can save us from this growing corporate / government (corporatist / fascist) collaboration...

Ron, we need you to be our President so you can Pardon us from all of these laws of special interest non-sense.

I want Dr. Paul to be able to vote for his own legislation, but if this is tied to a bigger reform package he'll have to vote no. Ohh well....as long as the reform package passes with H.R. 1207's original language we can call it a win.

The national debt and GDP per citizen are just about equal. Does this mean we actually have no money in spite of (or perhaps because of) the fact they keep printing more of it?

I love how my congressman had just sent me an email saying he talked to Ron Paul and Ron Paul was FOR the changes. I have been able to get back to my congressman in less than 24 hours.

I could have called him a liar. I did not. The proof is apparent.

I asked him to support Ron Paul's amendment to 1207.

He's not very popular and his war chest is not very big. He's NOTHING like watt.... he's got to be a gatekeeper.... I don't have it figured out. Our GOP rep is in prison, attemtpted murder, he hired a hit man, the hit man is doing time... The GOP is so corrupt, Thompson has no competition. A Ron Paul Independent would win. A RP GOP wouldn't have a chance in hell.

And the Californians KNOW it. What are you going to do about Arnold? Nothing. So what's your intertest in RP? Freedom for the Nation but not for the state? Arnold Kennedy nee Schwartzenegger is no Ron Paul, and yet, he's THE most powerful GOP in the USA.

I don't know how you think you can "take back" the GOP with Arnold occupying the GOP in California.
