A couple of seemingly unrelated articles in Friday’s Wall Street Journal illustrate how life is getting more complicated for the super-rich. First, it seems that the UBS debacle was not just a U.S./Swiss disagreement. Far from it. Now that the IRS has shown other high-tax countries how easy it is to pierce the veil of bank secrecy, the Europeans want their tax evaders too. And in Switzerland, theirs are a lot more numerous than ours.

One of the super rich (multiple million $ houses, does whatever he wants) is on our team. He went to the national GOP convention, though it didn't help us any. He also doesn't file any tax papers. He says he sent mounds of paperwork to IRS and they never showed that he was required to file, so he doesn't file.
You can have em.
I don't want em - they're too fat for me. Polka, anyone? Just kidding. Actually, I'm thinking it is very hard for a leopard to change its spots - greed and selfishness are bad spots.

There's no need for you to take my comment personally
unless you are super rich. My thinking on this is, like the old adage goes,"Absolute power corrupts absolutely". It's human nature's most absolute flaw.

I wonder how many of the American and European
super-rich tax dodgers are politicians..
