The Daily Paul is dedicated to restoring a Constitutional government to the United States of America.
The Daily Paul is a wonderful place. It reminds me of a market place that has many stalls of new and exciting spices. Some take time to get used to but is highly recommended to at least try them. You just never know what you may discover. It is noisy here, with many many voices opinions and
web sites to intrigue you.
This site is like no other and it can get a little rowdy at times but I have been here two years and I have to say, I am a more informed and active citizen due to the Daily Paul.

I hadn't been posting on any RP forums for a looong time, as I was spending my time waking people up on non-RP related forums. But eventually I came back (to DP this time) and I gotta say it's truly a special pleasure to be back with such a great group of people known collectively as Ron Paul supporters. You are the cream of the crop of this country!

Well, some of it was great, easy as 1-2-3. For example, Hank Williams III fans take very well to the idea of liberty. What a great moment it was when after hearing from me for weeks about Ron Paul on the political threads, one posted "count me in". Followed by another, "me too." "three". "four". I made some post, something like, "one by one, the rag tag band of patriots stood up to take back their country..." something from a song I remembered at the time, and attached a picture of those three revolutionary guys marching with the flute and snare drum, and the posts from the new converts kept coming and coming. "Five". "Six". "Seven". Eight"...That was definitely a magic moment, not only for me, but for the group of us as a whole I'm sure. All that was missing was some emotional movie music in the background. Some of them are pretty hardcore RP supporters now, fighting the NWO and all; I wouldn't be surprised if some are here.
A very "progressive" forum on the other hand was a little harder to crack (to say the least). I had to make them question man-made global warming first, before even mentioning Ron Paul because he publicly stated that he didn't believe in it. That was a real problem. It took over a year, but that forum eventually stopped having so many threads about global warming and drowning polar bears, and they started to fight amongst themselves on the subject. I also had to partake in any discussion about abortion of course. My influence and acceptance wasn't so great by then as you could imagine, so a "friend" became a member and later started posting about this Libertarian candidate (who was forced to run as a Republican) named Ron Paul. Very nice of my friend, don't you think? ;-)

I agree, I have also been here over
two years although not under this screen name. What can I say, we all grow and I am glad I left the other personality behind. I attribute my education in what really counts to the Daily Paul. I became involved because of the DP. I have expanded my life and contacts because of the DP.
I think you all get the picture. Thank you Michael and everyone here for my growth.

This thread stands out like a lightning rod to the people who visit the DP. I feel better informed and get a break of the BS MSM.
It does get rowdy.. but freedom is like that. Tolerance makes it worth it.
Personally, this is the best site on the internet for a WIDE assortment of news and thought.
I love the DailyPaul and everybody involved in it.
