Paul/Napolitano 2012? There is hope...

Listen very carefully to the last minute or so of the 11/3 clip of Dr. Paul on Freedom Watch with the Judge. When the Judge asks Dr. Paul about a 2012 run, he says that it is maybe the Judge's turn to run. When further pressed, he says that we need another PRIVATE conversation about this. A big WooHoo from wauhoo!

What we have to do different
Reach the older generation that does not use computers. The ones that are fed the Nightly "News". They have been trained all their lives to obey and vote for whos ahead in a poll or whos better looking or silver tongued. We need to reach these people they never miss a vote.

I love Baldwin, I really do, and I feel guilty not putting him first. But I don't because he is not as well known, not as edgy. I think Napolitano will bring in more votes. Peter has come off a little abrasive sometimes for me. Great guy also, but for my taste, he comes off a little abrasive. Rand Paul I think is a huge long shot. I can't imagine people getting behind a father/son team for President and VP. I just can't imagine that. I also think that narrows the voter base. All RP people are for RP. But Napolitano might actually bring in some who weren't sure about the Paul's for some 'stupid' reason.

I told my fiance back in Jan 2008 that I suspected Ron Paul's choice for VP might very well be Judge Andrew Napolitano. And if not that, then Napolitano for Attorney General or Supreme Court.
I would not be surprised one bit if Napolitano was to run for President in the future or as Paul's VP. Napolitano is one of the fiercest defenders of individual liberty. This guy is one of us and represents the cause better than most others.

According to http://en.wikipedia.org/w... Judge Napolitano is already 59; think of how old he would be when a Supreme Court opening came up. If Ron Paul won a 2012 victory, Napolitano would be at least 62. I think the ideal age range for a Supreme Court appointee is between mid-forties to mid-fifties. Dr. Kevin Gutzman would be a superb choice (I think he's in his mid to late forties, but I'm not sure).
Napolitano would do best as Paul's VP. Due to age, Paul would probably be a one-term president, after which Napolitano could run for the presidency.

Any concerns about Ron Paul's age should be satisfied by such a high caliber vice president. I can't think of a more qualified, articulate or trustworthy running mate than Judge Andrew Napolitano. One question: What's he doing on Fox News, or any news channel, for that matter?

Ron Paul's age would not matter one bit in any meaningful way, other than those who would shallowly judge him just based on that number.
We could be assured that Ron Paul would have all the plans in place so that if his age caught up with him we would still be in the best of hands.
I believe that even 1 year of Ron Paul as president would be more beneficial to our nation than 8 years of nearly anyone else. I would support him for another presidential run even if he was 100+!!!

Although, a popular person like Palin as VP might be a good strategy to grab a lot of the moderate Republicans, and I'm assuming that Palin could be totally converted to Ron Paul's way of thinking.
Disclaimer: I have not really studied Palin so the above statement may be an idiotic statement.

1. The number of questions she would be asked "How could you run with McCain in 08, and now with Paul in 12? Are your views so easily swayed? Or are you simply an opportunistic has-been beauty queen? Where was your support for Dr. Paul in 2008? How do you feel about sending your son off to fight in an unconstitutional war? Were you for the bridge to no-where before you were against it?"
2. Palin is not that popular. She might be in a few people's minds. Small minds.
3. She can't speak off the cuff. A prepared speech and she sounds like a bimbo. Off the cuff, and it's a train wreck.
Any support that Ron Paul would pull from the left leaning libertarians would evaporate completely.
I can't comprehend anyone on the DP actually suggesting her. It literally gives me pause. Maybe we really are screwed and people are that ignorant.
