The Orlando shooter has already been captured so that improves the chances. Also, I don't think the Orlando story is as big as the Fort Hood story. Still it wouldn't suprise me if we get interrupted with a press conference or something. Keep your fingers crossed.

off topic: does anyone else feel a little overwhelmed
by the wind shifting republicans pretending to be on our side with many neo cons hiding in the group and backstabbing non-interventionists on their foreign policy once in a while? i feel like we're losing a bit of momentum and cohesiveness because some of us are getting too close to republicans, or at least that's how this whole movement is being perceived. attracting attacks from both sides while many of our contributions to liberty go to the republican party isn't exactly an advantageous scenario for us. maybe we're walking too close with the republicans. when someone attacks "the right", "the conservatives", "the republicans", i don't know who they're talking about anymore. and do they know who they're talking about?

I think that there's been a campaign to dilute the Ron Paul movement's strength, channeling it into the "controlled opposition", and it has succeeded to a disturbing extent.
We got a letter from Rand Paul recently with a picture of him shown side-by-side with Beck...I'm sure I'm not the only one who was disturbed by this. I don't want to be aligned with neocon warmongers like Beck...Rand is perceived as being somewhat of a warmonger, and I know of people who prefer Rand over his father for that reason. "I'm more of a RAND Paul Republican" is what one pro-war guy said to a friend of mine.
Nuts to that. If our movement is merging with the neocons for any reason, "to reach more people" or whatever, that is pretty depressing.

We want Ron and Rand to have maximum exposure and when they go on one of the top rated cable shows for an interview you guys go nuts. Unbelievable! Remember 2007 and 2008 when no one would touch Ron Paul? Now he's freaking EVERYWHERE and you guys STILL aren't happy!
Look I used to be a Neo-Con. I supported the wars and supported whatever the Republicans were doing as long as it was the Republicans doing it. Just like a bunch of you, Ron Paul cured my apathy. Now there's millions of conservatives waking up to Liberty, coming out to Tea Parties and getting involved with influencing government.
Instead of "co-opting the Movement", have you considered that perhaps they're actually JOINING us?
And this is about individual Liberty. Not everyone that comes to join us is going to think and march in lockstep with everything the "Ron Paul Movement" believes in.
I didn't say anything about them being on TV..
it's specifically the association with Beck, which Rand is harping on, that I simply don't like.
What makes you think the neocons are joining us now? Do they ever really speak out against the war? "Win or being them home" just means "win." All their books and articles are still pro-war, as far as I can tell. I mean, there is still a real distinction between this movement and that one- just as there is a distinction between ourselves and the ultra-liberals.
I'm not encouraging lockstep but a little cohesiveness and definition of boundaries is nice. If someone says they are a "Ron Paul Republican" yet they are pro-war and pro-Fed and pro-Patriot Act, etc., then that is confusion and dilution of our cause. We should be entitled to define ourselves and hold to some standards.

Also this happens more often than many of us will ever know. People come home and kill their kids and spouses and it isn't a fluke event. This all has to do with PTSD and suicidal tendencies from coming back from the horrors of war. Pray for the families and lets hope the forum for liberty candidates is still open in the days to come.

I'm sure that it is a small fraction of the Mon-Thur viewers. Our luck sucks.
Actually Beck's numbers are barely
any different on Fridays. I pay attention to cable news ratings for some reason, don't ask me why. O'reilly and Hannity always have smaller numbers on Friday nights, but Beck pretty much stays the same, probably because his show is on so early before people go do whatever they do on a Friday night.
