To all Daily Paul users

This is indeed a website for sharing ideas & news, sometimes that you won't find anywhere else. I am pleased at the lack of censorship on the site and the ease w/ which you can become a registered user, ALOT easier than Campaign for Liberty.

Of course it is better to post something than not post it & of course if you remember to post something & don't do it, who knows when you'll get around to doing it again. Having said that,

please keep in mind that many people who visit this website have a small attention span & that they don't look beyond the front page, although it's not in their best interest to do so. It could be b/c of time, they're just visiting, they don't read enough to know it exists beyond the front page or whatever reason.

I ask that when you post, if you are not a privileged front page poster, as 95% of us are not, that you take a look at all the other postings 1st in forums before you decide that you should post your topic & knock somebody else's off. Yes, the most popular postings will stay up, but there are so many people posting that they're not guaranteed to stay up anyhow. I ask you to be considerate, for the purveyance of important news that people really should know, that you look at what's been posted & consider if your post is worth knocking the others down, if it can wait.

We'd hate for DP to become a website where people stop posting b/c they don't feel like their news gets enough attn., that it gets knocked off the page & for lack of enthusiasm from us they go to a different site, that doesn't help. That's not what this site is here for. There are people who lose interest b/c they don't feel like their post gets the attn. it deserves b/c it gets knocked off the front page too easily & nobody sees it & nobody bothers to look beyond the front page, let's not let that happen. We wouldn't want Daily Paul to lose popularity after the time its taken to make it what it is, to have the reputation it has.

Alex Jones once called this a good site, that's a high compliment.
