Another State Introduces Firearms Freedom Act by Chuck Baldwin
Excerpt:
As you might suspect, the federal government doesn't take too kindly to these State laws. In fact, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) sent an open letter to all Montana and Tennessee firearms dealers denouncing the State laws. ATF assistant director Carson Carroll wrote that "Federal law supersedes the Act."
The Tenth Amendment Center quotes constitutional historian Kevin Gutzman as correctly stating, "Their [ATF's] view is that the states exist for the administrative convenience of the Federal Government, and so of course any conflict between state and federal policy must be resolved in favor of the latter.
"This is another way of saying that the Tenth Amendment is not binding on the Federal Government. Of course, that amounts to saying that federal officials have decided to ignore the Constitution when it doesn't suit them."

If only Tennessee loved all ten amendments!
Tennessee asserts its authority and rights on the one hand, and abuses its own citizens on the other. In Tennessee, before you can exercise your inherent human right to keep and to bear arms (which right is explicitly stated in the 2nd Amendment) you have to pay a tax to the government and you have to pay to take a class and then you have to wait until your "license" is processed.
How did the Ninth and Tenth Amendments suddenly become so terribly important in Tennessee when the Second is still in the toilet?
Does it not say "shall not be infringed"? And is not taxation and regulation an infringement? Isn't this the equivalent of allowing "free speech" only to those who have proven not to be felons, who have taken and passed a class, and who have paid a speech tax?
So before you brag too much about yourself, Tennessee, you'd do well to extend to your own citizens the same courtesy and respect you are now demanding from the Federal Government. You don't seem to mind tyranny, really---provided it's you and not your master who is the tyrant.

Good Stuff.
I reserve the right to govern myself.
Once again, Baldwin proves himself: a true friend of liberty...
and now we all should have figured out why Ron Paul endorsed him!
-I favor extending to Israel the same honest friendship that Jefferson and the Founding Fathers urged us to offer to all nations. ...This means I also favor discontinuing foreign aid to governments that are actual or potential enemies of Israel,--Ron Paul
The ATF is an afront to freedom. Pardon us from their laws!

I'm proud to say that my
I'm proud to say that my state is one of the 7 that have introduced the legislation. Although it's a sad state of affairs when we have to introduce legislation to enforce original legislation. Maybe we should consider introducing the Bill of Rights to be voted on.
wow--- this article is full of power..
here is a brief excerpt of some quotes used to nail a point home... please read the whole thing it is worth it....
The founders--even the Centralists of the day--all acknowledged that the right to keep and bear arms was, first of all, for the protection of the people against government tyranny. Observe:
"[I]f circumstances should at any time oblige the government to form an army of any magnitude that army can never be formidable to the liberties of the people while there is a large body of citizens, little, if at all, inferior to them in discipline and the use of arms, who stand ready to defend their own rights and those of their fellow-citizens." (Alexander Hamilton, The Federalist Papers, Number 29)
"While the people have property, arms in their hands, and only a spark of noble spirit, the most corrupt Congress must be mad to form any project of tyranny." (Rev. Nicholas Collin, Fayetteville [NC] Gazette, October 12, 1789)
"The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government." (Thomas Jefferson)
"Who are the militia? Are they not ourselves? . . . Congress has no power to disarm the militia. Their swords, and every other terrible implement of the soldier, are the birthright of an American . . . [T]he unlimited power of the sword is not in the hands of either the federal or state governments, but, where I trust in God it will ever remain, in the hands of the people." (Tench Coxe, ally of James Madison and member of the Continental Congress, Freeman's Journal, February 20, 1778)
Coxe also said, "As civil rulers, not having their duty to the people duly before them, may attempt to tyrannize, and as the military forces which must be occasionally raised to defend our country, might pervert their power to the injury of their fellow-citizens, the people are confirmed by the next article [the Second Amendment] in their right to keep and bear their private arms." (Remarks on the First Part of the Amendments to the Federal Constitution, Philadelphia Federal Gazette, June 18, 1789)
This is so important:
I am hoping that this is the in road to the states totally taking back what belongs to them.

“Not to be daunted by the failure of the League of Nations, this same high level, money clique decided to keep the "One-World" concept alive for self-serving reasons, and promptly planned for a new vehicle, aided by plenty of spade-work in advance, that looked ahead twenty-five years or so to successfully trap the American people.
In order to make certain that there would be no possible slip this time, an organization was created by them called The Council On Foreign Relations (C.F.R.), to carefully train men for various areas of operation and to suitably mold their ideological, political, financial, military, and educational objectives. In London, England, there was also created a Counterpart called The Royal Institute of International Affairs. The World phase of these two groups is known as The Bilderbergers, headed by H.R.H. Prince Bernhard of the Netherlands. Its headquarters are often in Holland.
The first important financial donation to the C.F.R., and there had to be a first one, of course, was made by one of the Rockefeller Family Foundations, in 1919. Since then, there have been other donations of size. President Wilson's advisor, Col. House, initially "fronted" the new C.F.R.-U.N. promotion for the Internationalists, with Mr. Baruch and Mr. Frankfurter looking over his shoulder.
Let us examine the background of what is inaccurately but opportunistically termed One-World
Government, fostered in the U.S.A. by the C.F.R. and one of its main off-shoots, the United Nations. Perhaps, the term One-Group Government would far better define their real objectives.”
“For a long time I felt that FDR had developed many thoughts and ideas that were his own to benefit this country, the United States. But, he didn't. Most of his thoughts, his political ammunition, as it were, were carefully manufactured for him in advanced by the Council on Foreign Relations-One World Money group. Brilliantly, with great gusto, like a fine piece of artillery, he exploded that prepared "ammunition" in the middle of an unsuspecting target, the American people, and thus paid off and returned his internationalist political support.”
"The UN is but a long-range, international banking apparatus clearly set up for financial and economic profit by a small group of powerful One-World revolutionaries, hungry for profit and power.
"The depression was the calculated 'shearing' of the public by the World Money powers, triggered by the planned sudden shortage of supply of call money in the New York money market....The One World Government leaders and their ever close bankers have now acquired full control of the money and credit machinery of the U.S. via the creation of the privately owned Federal Reserve Bank.”- Curtis Dall, FDR's son-in-law as quoted in his book, FDR My Exploited Father-in-Law
