On the subject of Fort Hood, Would anyone want to donate to the victims?

We already know that more members of the military gave money to Ron Paul more than any other candidate.

Why? Because they believe in upholding the Constitution which they swore to protect.

Well these very same military people, have had their lives ended or seriously up-ended by the actions of an un-stable individual.

We understand the motives, but do the ends justify the means?

With so much support for Dr. Paul coming from the military,

HAS ANYONE HERE THOUGHT ABOUT STARTING A CHARITABLE COLLECTION FOR THE VICTIMS AND THEIR FAMILIES?

There comes a time when love for fellow man is more important than political gains.

I don't have much money, but I could donate $25 for the cause.

I don't know how to set up the chip-in or donation page, but I am willing.

Giving back to the community is what life is all about.

I don't blame young men and women who want to serve their country for the misdeeds that their corrupt government would have them do.

And by this I mean in participating in wars for oil and resources.

Most people are not as educated as those on the DailyPaul, they are only doing what they believe is right.

Don't we owe anything to the military, that so staunchly supported Dr. Paul?

Although, this would be a great public relations action, I believe that the only true gift is an anonymous one.

Please think about it, because I believe, that Dr. Paul would be proud of us.

If you wish to contribute -

I am not surprised that,

the media wants to portray this guy as a Ron Paul sympathizer.

What good is Libertarianism without charity.

Instead of feeling remorse for innocent kids slaughtered by a madmen, the people of the DailyPaul engage in conspiracy theories about the incident.

Yeah, we know the gunman hated the wars, as do we all, but by engaging in conspiracy theories, we are wavering from the truth of the matter.

The truth is, that this asshole Hasan or whatever his name was, killed innocent young men and women who joined the service to serve their country.

The truth is that Hasan was not afraid to be deployed as the MSM would have you believe, just as they would have you believe, "they hate us for our freedoms".

If we fail to live in truth, how can we blame the MSM?

I am not begging people to contribute, I am asking people to look inside their own hearts.

What good is Libertarianism without ruth and charity?

Are we so sure, that we will never need help?

The people that were murdered at Fort Hood, are our sons, daughters, fathers, mothers, nieces, and nephews.

These people are serving us, like it or not.

This was not a government conspiracy, this is a crying shame.

Good plan

i'll donate if it gets set up

great Idea!...

Sir Felix.
Why not a money bomb from the
good Patriots from the Daily Paul.
The MSM would have to report on it.

Thanks for the info, scdecade.

...and thanks for the thread, SirFelix.

This is what American should be all about!

Count me in. We need to lead my example - and this is a darn good one.

Bump for a thoughtful idea.

And thank you, Sir Felix, for having compassion.

Ruth is scarce,

in this weary world.

ya know,

In my neighborhood, when the neighbors house burnt down, we donated, we helped, we did what we could.

When I was growing up, we didn't have much, but we still helped others who had less.

What good is Libertarianism without Charity?

Are all of us so sure, that we will never need help?

Good night.
