Thoughts on the Fort Hood Tragedy and War, and Losing Friends.
"War is the Health of the State."
American Guy Fawkes Strikes Fort Hood
Yesterdays massacre at Ft. Hood was a completely preventable tragedy. I'm nearly certain that the talking heads on the television will wonder aloud, in unison, "How did this happen?" and "What could have prevented this?", etc, etc...yet they will not give straight answers to the rather simple and easily understood conditions that led to this.
To begin, I have to state clearly and unequivocally that I do not support the violent acts that took place at Ft. Hood. A dozen innocents were slaughtered needlessly, and many more were wounded. But to understand why this took place, we need to examine the conditions that led up it.
As I understand it, the alleged shooter was being held against his will due to the "stop-loss" program that is in effect in the military. Only the military can kill you or throw you in jail for wanting to change jobs. Wanting to change jobs, especially when you're current job is leaving thousands of innocent people dead, is against the rules apparently, even though it should be considered normal human behavior. If the alleged shooter had been allowed to simply leave, those murdered yesterday would still be alive.
Next there is the multiple accounts of what really happened at the base. 12 killed, 30 wounded.....42 hits by one shooter? The US military, supposedly the most powerful in the world, is getting it's ass kicked by a bunch of peasants and tribesmen up and down the mountain in Afghanistan. A US military psychiatrist, armed with only two hand guns, and under returning fire, manages to kill twelve people and wound thirty-one. Something is wrong with that picture. It's almost certain he did not act alone.
First accounts said that the alleged shooter was dead. Second accounts now say that he is alive. Reports were that the first-responders were military contractors, and that a female police officer was responsible for taking him down. Did you know that soldiers are not allowed to carry firearms on base? The generals and politicos fear their own soldiers, disarm them, thereby allowing them to be mowed down rather easily when one snaps and decides to fight against their illegal and immoral wars. There is no excuse for these killings, but the man apparently felt he was a prisoner. It could be argued that this was to be expected. The FBI had a case file on him 6 months ago, knowing he was fed up and against being sent back to the Middle East, in a combat zone no less, to counsel American troops that it was ok to kill innocent women and children. That sort of task could lead anyone but a natural psychopath to the breaking point. And remember, they wouldn't let him leave.
Note: The US Military has completely removed the website of their Center for the Study of Traumatic Stress organization early on the morning of 6 November 2009
Some of the first accounts also stated that there were multiple shooters. An early report stated that it occurred in a theater on base, then that report was changed to another location. Another possibility to consider is that this was a psyop.
Interesting to note about Major Hasan is his past psychiatric training, paid for by the US Military, at Virginia Tech University where he graduated from that schools Center for Applied Behavior Systems with a degree in biochemistry, a school which is most likely one of the US Department of Defenses top PSYOP training centers and where in April, 2007, it suffered the worst school massacre in US history when a Chinese student named Seung-Hui Cho, reported to be a subject to mind-control experiments, single-handedly gunned down 32 fellow students.
Now to understand the circumstances that placed Major Hasan at Fort Hood in the first place one has to understand that he was one of the US Militaries top PSYOP specialists and had received his medical degree, with honors, from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland, in 2001, and did his internship at Walter Reed Army Hospital.
No doubt we'll be hearing more about this from "eyewitnesses" and "experts" over the next few days and weeks, but keep in mind that nobody of any true informative capacity will be allowed to speak without being thoroughly "briefed" on exactly what to say, how to spin it, and what to topics to avoid.
Once again a grim lesson is (hopefully) re-learned. As Washington once stated - "Government is not reason; it is not eloquent; it is force. Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master."
It's a shame that Americans are outraged about a soldier who goes on a killing spree in this country but cheer on soldiers who kill in Iraq and Afghanistan because they are “defending our freedoms” and “keeping us safe from terrorists.” The truth, of course, is that the global war on terror is destroying our freedoms and creating terrorists.
"America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves."
Abraham Lincoln
And it appears a growing number of the enlisted are realizing this, and tiring of being, in the words of Obama pal Henry Kissinger, "Military men are “dumb, stupid animals to be used” as pawns for foreign policy." It's an insult to every American serviceman that Kissinger, a war criminal responsible for the death of millions of innocents, is allowed anywhere near the capitol or circles of power. How demoralizing it must be for our men and women in uniform that this globalist murderer is advising their Commander-In-Chief. Army suicides hit a record level last year, with at least 128 taking their own lives, and are on track to set a new high this year - surpassing the rate among the civilian population. http://www.telegraph.co.u...
And as always, it's toughest to swallow when the war hits close to home. Just last week my hometown of Evergreen Park lost a young man needlessly to a roadside bomb in Afghanistan. His name was Spc. Jared D. Stanker, he was 22 and a good friend of my sister, who was devastated by the news. I never met Jared, but from all accounts he was a good kid, a great friend to many, and is already sorely missed.
It's a sad testament that most people ignore the consequences of war until it affects them personally. My first instinct when I heard of Jared unfortunate passing was to write an article asking my sister and her friends "Do you get it now?", and try to explain to them why it's important to stand up against illegal, unconstitutional, unwinnable wars ALL THE TIME. I wanted to talk with them while their loss was fresh in their minds, because time has a way of softening emotions, and due to the saturation of entertainment in the broadcast media, many Americans attention spans are rather short. I eventually decided against it, as their loss was still too raw, and I didn't think that they'd be able to interpret the ideas that I wanted to share with them without emotion overtaking reason.
Hopefully, the emotion will pass, and reason will prevail in these young minds that have been forced to experience this tragic loss. I wonder if it will make them think back to WWII, a war that enlisted millions and saw the deaths of 407,000 Americans. Or if the death of this young man will inspire even one of his friends to research the Lusitania, and the lie that led to Americas involvement in "The Great War" (for the banksters, that is.) Will this sad event inspire any of his friends to think about Vietnam, a time when the government DRAFTED their best friends and neighbors and forced them to fight and die (58,000) in a worthless war halfway across the world that was based on another lie? (Gulf of Tonkin Incident) Will it be a wake-up call, that unless they start paying attention NOW, and forcing their voices to be heard, that the state will eventually drum up another boogeyman to send THEIR kids off to fight and die against? Will even one of his friends walk away from the television for an hour and research the entity that funds wars and destroys their money? Will any of them join the movement to End the Fed, thereby removing from the ruling class the ability to print money at will for their globalist cronies in the military-industrial complex and criminal banking ponzi schemes? War is the most profitable endeavor for the banksters. They fund both sides.
One can only hope. If so, then, at least, the sacrifice that Jared made could someday end up saving the lives of thousands of American kids who will be forced to support the military empire that the baby boomers enabled, the Gen X's ignored and next generation, my son, your daughter, nephew or niece, will be duped into dying for.
Call your representatives and senators, spend an hour passing out flyers, discuss the war, the Fed, the police state, and every other anti-war topic you can with your friends and strangers. Read blogs. Get your news from independent sources, not connected to the military-industrial complex (GE, Time/Warner, Viacom, etc) Refuse to be frightened. Stand up for your rights. Question authority. Demand the truth. It doesn't have to be a full-time job to make a difference. The future depends on us.
A lady asked Dr. Franklin Well Doctor what have we got a republic or a monarchy — "A republic," replied the Doctor, "if you can keep it."

President Eisenhower warned us about this. President Kennedy warned us about this. The Founders warned us about this. Are We, the American People, going to roll over and allow our country to be dismantled from within while we watch our sit-coms, sports distractions, and "reality" shows, or will we collectively wake up, and start spreading the message, that the only way to reverse America's decline, is to start challenging those who would have us believe that they are acting in our best interests, and start acting in our own best interests ourselves.
"War is a racket. It always has been. It is possibly the oldest, easily the most profitable, surely the most vicious. It is the only one international in scope. It is the only one in which the profits are reckoned in dollars and the losses in lives. A racket is best described, I believe, as something that is not what it seems to the majority of the people. Only a small 'inside' group knows what it is about. It is conducted for the benefit of the very few, at the expense of the very many. Out of war a few people make huge fortunes."

long, but good, but you left one thing out
Consider the current suicide rate in the military, and consider that THIS man was a specialist in helping those distraught people.
My heart aches for the soldiers who wake up, there is no help for them in our society.
Well said!
And you must be young. . .. . . . I am a senior citizen, and it is very encouraging to see young people articulating the message of freedom. Keep up the good work of informing people. Every day more people are being awakened. Freedom and justice will prevail!

That was a long note
It was a nice read though. Good job, I enjoyed it.
