HEALTH CARE And HANDCUFFS-- "If you control a man's money you control half the man. Control a man's health you control the man"

Health care and handcuffs

Health care and handcuffs Today while watching the hearings on C-Span concerning the “H.R. 3962 - Affordable Health Care for America Act” an interesting mantra from the supporters of federal health care is revealed. Charles Rangel (D) New York made it clear that they were working on this bill for President Obama. Others said “we must support the greater good” and “health care is a right not a privilege”.

Amazing but not surprising that they speak so eloquently of a two thousand page health care bill as if it is a constitutional right, all while ignoring one of the most appalling facts.

That the IRS is being used as anchor for this plan, this letter to Representative David Camp confirms that citizens that desire to not participate in a government health plan, Section 7201 – states that you may be fined up to $250,000 and/or imprisoned for up to five years!

The Congressional Budget Office findings indicate that the lowest cost family non-group plan will cost $15,000 in 2016.

The dirty truth:

"If you control a man's money you control half the man. Control a man's health you control the whole man"

This health care bill is a mandate to comply with the federal government and nothing else. It will greatly alter your rights on matters having nothing to do with health care and leaves us with the following question:

If this plan is so great why do they need handcuffs?

Interesting

that the Dems/liberals/progressives are all for "choice" when it's about ending a human life (abortion), but are utterly against giving people any choice about other issues.

>"If you control a man's money you control half the man. Control a man's health you control the whole man"<

You got what you deserve...Corporations were controlling your health.... and they will continue to do it... even easier and with reduced lobbying costs...

Universal Single Payer Healthcare would be in some way controlled by you...

as it is you who elect congressman and senators...

you don't elect CEOs and board members...

You dismissed such possibility... You didn't want socialized healthcare... so stop whining and enjoy mandatory corporate enslavement!

Amount of your paid taxes will not be reduced in any way but indirect taxation by Corporate Health Insurers ...WILL INSURE... that bloodsuckers will be able to continue pay themselves multimillion salaries, bonuses and golden parachutes... and burden of medical care will be in the same place where it is... you will pay medical health care for poor , old, illegal and rich folks in addition to paying for corporate profits and dividents to shareholders.

Maybe we should stop fighting FED... government controlled treasury and currency could lead to socialism... let private bankers continue what they are doing... you don' want socialized banking... right???

Corporate scumbags won again because they are not afraid of big government... they just found a ways to control it...

thanks for the link..fix..

a great article ..on a horrid subject....

address is not valid

for the link.

A Question Please?

Doesn't there have to be at least 51% of votes cast to be declared passed? It only calculates out to 50.37% or is it just a straight count? A difference is .37% is surely not decisive enough to enact such a megabuck bill????

Majority vote:

A majority vote is when the Yeas outnumber the Nays, as they did here. Even by one vote (as was considered sufficient several times when the Republicans were running the Congress). There is no requirement for any further margin.

The requirement that everyone participate in this health plan seems abusive but, in insurance terms, it is not only sensible it is necessary to keep the system solvent. Health insurance everywhere depends on the premiums paid by (at the time) healthy people in order to subsidize the payouts for sick people. If only sick people sign up for insurance, the system goes broke immediately.

A similar situation occurs in regards to auto insurance. In the states where I have lived, EVERY driver was required to have auto insurance. Even those lousy drivers whom no insurance company wanted had to buy into a state-sponsored fund for uninsurables. The drivers who didn't get into accidents were providing money to cover those who did.

This is not terribly different from Social Security and Medicare; those who don't yet need or qualify for payouts are putting money into the system for those who do.

Coincidentally,

The only two states in the nation that do not require car insurance have the lowest car insurance rates in the nation.

wow--- you would think it would be the opposite?

do you know which 2 states they are ?

Can you provide a link

that works? I'd like to read the whole article, but when I type in the address you gave, it comes up saying they don't have the article. Thanks!
