Back when the Daily Paul was first getting started, the site was more like the 'every few days Paul.' There wasn't much going on back in February 2007, but one of the first people to sign up was Dr. Paul's son Robert, and his grandson, Matt. That was greatly encouraging to me, and it also helped to popularize the site in the early months.
Now Matt is back, with a great song and video to support his uncle Rand's bid for Senate. So without further ado, The Ballad of Rand Paul, by Matt Pyeatt.

Down home roots always grow the deepest. Rand Paul in the Senate would send a huge shock wave to the establishment. Sure, they've been able to push our good doctor Ron Paul around, but if we can get Rand in the Senate, and then maybe Schiff in the Senate........we'll ignite tremendous interest. I am convinced we will not win an award for this performance, but we love to do what we can to help our Uncle Rand out in this campaign. My whole family is very excited that there is a real opportunity for Kentucky to gain a liberty-minded Senator. It just so happens to be my uncle!

You two sounded great. I loved it. God bless you all. I felt the song had a nice spiritual feel to it, and that's no surprise because the spirit of God is the spirit of Liberty.
I believe Rand has an excellent chance of winning, and perhaps by 20+ points. I hope it's a landslide, as that will send a BIG message to The Powers That Be, that their stranglehold on this nation is waning.
