Remember the Alamo

Texans are again standing and fighting for the cause of Liberty , but we are sending out a call for reinforcements. Just as Congressman Paul has always been the defender of truth, liberty and our Constitution in the 14th Congressional District, now we have a candidate for Governor of Texas in 2010, who has been an admirer, and a supporter of Congressman Paul’s for many years. More important, she has been a student and has looked upon Congressman Paul as a mentor. Now she is ready to lead our state back to the basic principles that made Texas loved and respected across this country and around the world. This candidate is Debra Medina!

We do not need Perry with his Bilderburger ties and his willingness to sell our wonderful farm and ranch lands to foreign investors to build the Trans Texas Corridor, for the benefit of the North American Union.

We do not need Hutchison who has been in Washington so long she has forgotten that Texans want less government and less spending. Her record shows she voted with the Bush Administration over 90% of the time (a major reason Obama and the Dems control the White House, the Senate and the Congress today.) She even voted for the first stimulus package. Texans cannot afford to have Hutchison in the Governor’s Mansion.

Debra Medina represents us “We Texans!!” . She grew up on a farm. She did chores before school and after school til dark. She put herself through nursing training. She home schooled her children. She started and runs her own medical billing business and she and her husband are ranchers. She did not seek this office. Citizens who knew Debra and knew her integrity and work ethic begged her to take on this task, indeed this sacrifice. Like Congressman Paul, Debra is totally committed to her oath of office and will protect and defend our Constitution from enemies without and within.

Now it is up to us to get our message of Liberty out and make everyone aware that it is no longer necessary to “vote for the lesser of two evils,” here in Texas. We have a candidate who is a true conservative and a patriot.

We hope all of you at www.dailypaul.com , who love Texas and wish you could live in this great state, will come to our aid. Yes we would love any donations you can afford, but more important we need you to help us spread our message. Please visit the Campaign’s official web site www.medinafortexas.com . Also visit our supporters site www.debramedinafortexas.c... Please post comments, suggestions, or just words of encouragement. Then, maybe even more important, send these links to all your friends (especially those in Texas.) Post these links on your own web site. Help us spread the message across the land, because when Texans take back our state in 2010, we will be ready to help the rest of us take back our country in 2012!!

CALL TO ACTION: Stop

CALL TO ACTION: Stop Nationalized Healthcare From Reaching Texas
by Debra Medina on Nov 08, 2009
We Texans face our biggest threat since the New Deal. An overreaching federal government is poised to force itself into our lives in the most invasive and damaging way; into our very well-being. I applaud concerned citizens, caring parents, determined Texans for calling your U.S. Congressmen and Senators and those throughout the country who “ride the fence.” We must continue our pressure on the U.S. Senate to halt this monstrosity. You and I know the appropriate course of action for Congress and the President because we know and understand the constitution and the implications this bill has for our state and our lives. Good medical decisions are made between the doctor and patient, not by the government.

The fact that We Texans have been forced to repeatedly contact our “elected representatives” highlights the lack of leadership in the Republican Party and an ongoing constitutional ignorance or disregard by those elected representatives. We Texans have an absolute right to sovereignty. The tenth amendment provides that “the powers not delegated to the United States by the constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people.” We Texans MUST stand up to this invasion of our private medical records, explosive expansion of the national debt and our right to determine our health care decisions.

In the event that Obama/PelosiCare passes the Senate, the State of Texas should refuse to comply through nullification and interposition. Nullification and interposition remain viable, legal alternatives to independence, despite the unwillingness of our current leadership to stand up to Washington and the big money donors who resist any conflict with their buddies in Washington. We are Texans. We are bold and we are going to stand up for our rights.

With our porous borders, we cannot afford yet another incentive for more illegal immigration. Our current federally mandated entitlement programs, which violate our state’s sovereignty every day, serve as a magnet to those in other countries who come to Texas for “freebies”. Do we need a stronger magnet? Our partially federally funded county hospitals bear much of the burden and provide care to illegal immigrants and those who have failed to provide for their own health care needs as it is. Do we Texans want to increase our dependence upon the largess of the federal government? Once Obamacare establishes itself in the state of Texas, ridding ourselves of this burden will become nearly impossible. We Texans must act now to cut this abuse of power off at the knees.

We Texans have a plan of action. I am sending an open letter to Governor Perry, members of the Texas House and Senate and Attorney General Abbott demanding that a special session be called and that legal action be taken in the federal courts. The Medina campaign is already taking proactive steps to protect Texans. We encourage you to contact your state representative and senator and the Governor to encourage them to begin the work necessary to nullify this unconstitutional legislation. Texas will take care of Texans. You can sign up for our updates here www.medinafortexas.com/jo.... Join us as we reclaim our sovereignty and assert our independence as free people of the United States and Texas.
