What a fantastic speech!

I just hope 2012 won't be too late to turn things around, it's still 3 years from now.

Ron Paul is my President.

Great introduction

We need to capture that.

That was a good speech.

Dr. Paul does seem to be energized.

The most BRILLIANT speaker

I have ever heard. I could listen to him all day long.
When is the rest of this country going to discover him?
I feel that if only people could hear him, we'd have our Constitution back in no time. How do we get him heard?????

Love You, Ron!!!!

Hahaha

I thought it was hilarious when he said him buying gold back in the day could be a crime or considered insider trading, because he knew the GOV was was printing money like crazy! LOL

Ron Paul at his best!

Thank you! I enjoyed watching this so much!

Ron Paul - A President WORTH Having.

Great speech.

Really enjoyed it.

That is an interesting comment, Boru,

about gold having perceived worth! Actually, it is the dollar that has this perceived worth, and as THAT value fluctuates around the world, the price of gold fluctuates. Many people think that a FRN is always a dollar in value... but this is not the case. Our dollar has been devalued to about 4% of its value in 1913, when our Central Bank was instituted.

However, since gold has been limited in its valuation strictly to being a commodity, yes there is a portion of its 'price' that varies based on the demand for the commodity.

Even so, the primary factor in the rise of gold is the fall of the dollar. Just look at the dollar against the Euro and other currencies, too. Your dollar is worth less, its not so much that the gold is worth more.

Just my 2cents.

I have already seen these clips

but I wanted to hear the introduction again, because of the positive things others have written about it.
But as soon as Paul began to talk I was addicted again, even when I already know what he is saying I can't turn him off, I just can't turn him off.
Does anyone experience the same? ^^

You gotta give Ron Paul credit,

he is a tireless speaker. He's all over the place. It's great to see him on TV more these days. It is definately helping his popularity. I just hope his message is hitting home with more and more people (and politicians). The bottom line is this. Our government is out of control, because we have lost real representation. It doens't matter who we send to Washington, they do what they're told to do once they get there, or else, they won't get to stay there. Most people can't resist the temptation to play along with the "hidden" rule makers. We can take back this Country, one seat at a time. Kentucky would be a great start, don't you think?

Thanks for the post...

another shining moment for the good doctor. That was also the best intro I've heard anyone give him. Americans have to wake up and realize Dr. Paul and other like minded individuals are our only hope. BushClintonBushObama = Country In The Sewer

"Just say no."

Of course the govt. may kill you if you do.

Most people find it difficult to resist when they stand alone.

Soon, it may change into a landslide of civil disobedience.

Let me toss out an idea here..

Many years ago, Arthur C. Clarke mentioned in passing, in one of his science fiction novels, a currency that was backed by kilowatt-hours. He called it the "solar", and didn't go into much detail about it.

Given that we've got a nearly ubiquitous power grid, the means to measure power flows in any direction, and several other enabling technologies like the internet and strong encryption, it seems to me that kilowatt-hours could make a very convenient currency (no pun intended) for a large amount of our daily commerce or monthly bills.

Of course, there would have to be currency exchanges to convert between KWH, gold, silver, and any other currencies someone might bring to market.

Solar money....sounds lame...

How about this: 1.Repeal all Legal Tender laws. 2.Prosecute fraud(ie Fractional Reserve Banking)

Let people use whatever they want to as a medium of exchange...and I bet real quick you would find out why gold, silver, and other precious metals work best.

Good Idea But...

The power companies have a near monopoly on power.
The average folks would be in the same fix as now with no way to generate cheap power and central power producers regulating the value of the power.

Gold can be found all over the world, however we Americans have been conditioned to think paper is more valuable than Gold.

Ron Paul is my President !

beesting

Not exactly.

Power companies buy and sell power between themselves all the time, and in many jurisdictions, they also have to buy it back from individuals who've installed their own generation capability such as wind turbines or solar panels. What they've got is a local monopoly on power distribution, which isn't the same thing.

I'd prefer the solar to gold as currency

I'd prefer anything that is measurable in real worth (solar, seeds, guns, food, oil) rather than things that are measured in preceived worth (gold, paper dollars).

The value of the dollar is up for grabs now because the value of the dollar went from being measured as a static unit of work (see Atlas Schrugged) to being measured as a perceived investment value (see Wall Street).

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
They gain your trust with some truth, then they screw you with that trust.

Not really an either-or question.

I see electrical power as one of many possible backings for currencies. Gold is great for storage. Electricity is more immediately useful.

A Patriot beyond compare, We

A Patriot beyond compare, We should all have such wisdom and virtue. I feel so inadequate after these speeches.

I wish he would make some sort of call to arms, metaphorically to mobilize the population to take action, However perhaps he thinks it is still premature for mass resistance and the most likely outcome is for the breakup of the USA into individual States of common interest, decentralization. This would be the only peaceful means of ending the growing Militarism, Fascism, and Eco Terrorism, New World Order etc.. A leader from Washington is not going to advocate the breakup of the US. Therefor Ron Paul would have to go back to form the Republic of Texas by seceding from the Republic of the USA.

This would be a real action plan for CHANGE.
I'm going back to bed now because, I must be dreaming.

I agree...

What an introduction! I wish I could have been at that conference! Ron Paul 2012!

Fear knocked on my door and Faith answered!

Part 4...Absolutely fantastic

Does anybody understand how powerful the things are that he is saying in this last segment...I'm always impressed by the good doctor but this blew me away...wow....

Great Introduction,Thanks Michael.

If Ron Paul was introduced that way when he makes appearances on MSM the American public might just realize that he's not just another run of the mill politician.
