Yes, I'm sure GE would love to be viewed in a postive light by the visitors at the DailyPaul. And I'm sure their ad is contributing nicely to the maintenance of this AWESOME site (thank you Michael for continuing this effort!)
However, do people realize what GE is involved in? Sure they are a huge company and sure lots of people that work there are not directly involved in anything questionable - like most big corporations. But GE common! The Daily Paul readers know better. AND If they don't they know how to look this stuff up.
Honestly I was quite impressed to see the ad...happy that the DP was getting play with MAJOR sponsors. But I was taken aback. I mean what's next? Northrup Grumman ads?

From electric miniguns...
to lightbulbs..and everything else in between.
GE is pretty evil.
I used to work there back when I was a neocon and I could feel the evil around me, but could not put my finger on it. How could a business be successful when their corporate culture fostered an environment that wasn't productive, agile, or inventive? Imagination at work? - puhlease.
It was a conundrum that I couldn't answer from my paradigm of believing we are a capitalist society. The answer: they have been bribing the gov't longer than any of us have been alive.
I think the GE ad is part of
I think the GE ad is part of the Blogads Conservative Network feed.
it says this at the bottom of the column that the ad is in:
Advertise Conservatively on the Blogads Conservative Network
Firefox with the adblock extension allows for GoogleAd free
browsing.
There are a number of odd ads that pop up
The Grayson ad I found very amusing.
You just have to rely on intelligent people thinking for themselves and not buying into every ad they see.
?
I don't see it. Was it a google ad? Im not sure that Michael has control over the little google ads.I think they are random, but I could be wrong.
