should RP or a very close sub run. That is, your boy Dobbs would be trotted out as a spoiler. Dobbs is useful for some of the things he says. I am a very long way from trusting him to actually do anything helpful. Any tool can spout the right words. Hannity, Levin, Limbaugh, et al blather on about the Constitution, why not, it risks nothing to talk about such things. Talkers will not help us. Only walkers need apply.

And you too for "respecting" him. Lou Dobbs wouldn't even utter the name Ron Paul... Instead, he liked to steal Dr. Paul's platform (most of it) and claim that all federal politicians need to be thrown out of office. This guy could have easily helped the liberty movement by putting his ego aside. He chose not to.

to be a libertarian. he's always been upfront about being a independent populist. while he is not my ideal candidate by any stretch of the imagination, if he is what it takes to launch a viable third party i would sooner cast my vote for him than a R or a D.
unless of course that R is the good Dr.

The reason I ask is that I think it is dangerous for us to use any "faction" label. RP is not a libertarian. Being familiar w/ what the LP says they stand for and stating agreement w/ those items you agree w/ is one thing but actually being card carrying goes against the wise guidance of the Founders regarding "Factions". I don't mean to sound lecturing, I hope you do not take it that way. Rather I think the rationale for avoiding parties/labels is sound and I wish you would give the matter some additional thought if you consider yourself to be brand LP.
What is wrong with being brand Independent Thinking Free American Individual.
I realize RP is technically an R but under the current corrupt system, as he frequently explains that is the only real chance to gain enough power to do something useful. I am fairly certain he considers himself a fingers crossed R as concerns this current fake R party. I also think he would prefer to run label free were it not for the lock the two phonies have on the phony system.
The odds for a Dobbs run will increase greatly
