We are the grass and we are the roots. The other candidates may have more money, but Dr. Paul has something that no amount of money can buy: He has us. He has our trust, our belief, our support and our love. Let us not let Dr. Paul, nor our country down.

I believe Dr. Paul is one of the VERY FEW men in government today who I could say that about.
He is cut from the same fabric as Wahington, Franklin, Jefferson and John Quincy Adams.
I've never seen anyone else who is so correct on every point.

Correction: This man is BETTER than the hypocrites and liars that founded our national government. Washington was a tyrant who actually sent federal troops to collect the treacherous whiskey tax in Pennsylvania and lobbied the Continental Congress to grant him authority to execute "deserters" in the Revolutionary War. Franklin made his entire fortune off of royally granted printing monopolies including fiat paper currency, the hated stamp act stamps, etc. Jefferson was a brilliant political philosopher who became drunk with power as president and imposed a massive blockade on English goods and did everything he could to start a war with England - something his buddy Madison was able to do successfully once he took his place. Don't even get me started on Adams the corporatist Federalist.
Ron Paul is a singular exception in the entire history of this nation.

Ron Paul is the best ever. Not to undermine the vision of our founders, but they had various shortcomings... slavery comes to mind. Economics has been advanced since then, and certainly has helped the good doctor have a better understanding than even possible in the Revolutionary period.

Great speech and as always 100% on point. isn't it amazing that it is the year 2009 and our population exceeds 300 million, yet to have common sense and dignity makes us the "fringe"? The main stream seem to know what our leaders need to do to correct many major issues where they have failed, and the tea parties and protests prove this, yet when anyone suggests our leaders carry out these often time simple corrections, and actual "fix" something that is broken, the very same people label you a "kook". Well if respecting what Dr. Paul says and means makes one a kook, then my goal in life is to be the kookiest of them all.
