Agreed.. and its happened before
In Godfather II Michael Corleone is in Havana. Batista is in power. Guerrillas are fighting the government. Michael notes that a guerrrilla fighting for nothing kills a paid army officer, and that tells him that the guerrillas can win. They did.
Brilliant writing in that movie.

thanks for sharing. Dr. Paul never ceases to amaze me. The more I listen to Palin, the more I'm convinced she is just another neo-con. All I hear from her are RepubliCon talking points with no real plan. When she left office, it was disclosed that she had on her call log, calls to both Ghooliani and Barbi Ken Romni. I was hoping that it was to tell them "FU" and that she was really "going rogue," but it looks like she was just accepting a big paycheck to tow the party line. I read on Rockwell today the Bill the neo-con Godfather Krystol is pushing Cheney for 2012-GOD HELP US ALL!!!!!

It is wonderful when the second generation wants to do
all the work. I love it. It was shocking at first, but gee, I adjusted.
So we have officially claimed the word "sustainable." Well, why not, they constantly hijack all of our words. At least we use it truthfully, and no, they don't.
I do like Montel.
This is the SECOND excellent interview I have heard
with Ron Paul on Montel Williams show. I don't know much about Montel. Wasn't he fired from television for opposing the war? How is he on the issues?

If I remember, It wasn't for opposing the war
It was because during the Iraq invasion, he was live on TV describing troop movements on the ground in real time, potentially putting lives at stake. The experience seems to have humbled him, however. Although he fell out of mainstream, he seems to be growing more honest, from what I understand.
A weird dichotomy
He speaks very openly about his dependence on marijuana for pain relief, and has testified before Congress in favor of legalization. Then he went and did a HUGE promotion for the Pharmaceutical industry. Struck me odd. Does he really NOT understand who is keeping his pot illegal? Or is he a tool playing both sides? Hmmmm.... tough call. Since he is famous, I will put my money on "playing both sides."

he is only an imperfect human being? I think Ron Paul would put it like that.

Undoubtedly he is an imperfect human
I don't know what is in his heart, I simply have to try to decide which people I consider allies. I am always suspicious of people who rise to stardom, especially those that come out of nowhere, and he is such a person. Add to that his association with PHARMA, and it leaves me feeling I am better off NOT to trust him.
That does not in any way say what is in HIS heart, it says what is in mine. (Me being another of those imperfect humans, but left to try to follow my imperfect heart the best I can.)

Out of all the talk shows...
Montel always seemed better and less slimy than most and I must admit that I started liking him a lot more after his illness because he became more active in what I consider to be good causes.
