These idoit talking-head hosts just can't or won't grasp what Ron is saying...we don't want anyone playing with our monetary policly...not the FED and not the Congress.
1.Legalize competing currencies (abolish ALL legal tender laws)
2.Prosecute fraud (no more fractional reserve banking)
That's it...I really don't understand why people have a tough time with this.
Whenever RP's on one of these cable shows, the amount of truth he spews disrupts the whole program. I'd like to see just one person who can hang on his level.
the Constitution is being followed.... I know I did for most of my life. Even if the talking heads don't/can't listen, it's fantastic that Ron Paul is constantly out there pointing out that the Constitution is not being upheld, The more he exposes that fact the greater chance some more people will realize it.
In the video, Ron said "They [the Fed] created this financial crisis."
Why they hell won't they say, "How did the Fed create the financial crisis? Do you mean they purposely created it? If so, why would they purposely hurt our economy?"
That last question works well with Bernake's threat that screwing with the Fed will result in harm to our US economy. THAT'S A THREAT!
Further, isn't this just an Audit bill? Why is the Fed chairman saying that the bill is after the Fed's power? It seems they think the audit will expose a lot of information that will LEAD to the Fed losing power. It is the Fed that is making that presumption.
I have to laugh at the question "Who can we trust?" By saying we need the Fed because we can't trust our own representatives, the woman is saying that we can't trust ourselves to rule ourselves. Our representatives come from us!
I feel like I'm taking crazy pills. We are fighting to rule our monetary policy. We are fighting to rule ourselves. Why would there be any resistance from these media types?
I understand why the US politicians want the Fed. The US politicians *use* the Fed to do their dirty work with our money. In return, the Fed pays these folks off.
Ron Paul's audit will expose the various immoral and illegal practices...and the Fed, seeing the bill get closer, is warning both the politicians and making threats to the people.

lay out the arguments against the Fed, fearlessly.
I think they kept repeating the question about Congress regulating the Fed because he didn't hit the nail on the head and answer them simply. Well, that's okay, they'll have to figure it out for themselves now.

A little eye candy should be okay when there is a phone conversation going on. I imagine that it does keep some neutral listeners from zapping to another channel.
Edit: should have been a reply to BmoreBrawler but if you log in the site doesn't keep track if it's a reply to someone.
This is why I don't watch TV

Yeah!
Not sure if it sunk in though, many people think the Constitution is just some old document and don't realize it's the highest current law.
