I just registered
at his website so I could post a comment. I don't know if it will get thru his vetting, but I told the MM crowd to come over here to watch all the great videos of Ron that were taped today. I think we should get the dailypaul mentioned on there as much as possible. Ron was smokin' today.
I think Dr. Paul needs to reach out to Mr. Moore
Because I sincerely believe that Dr. Paul's message and humility can change Moore; Moore is as anti-war as anyone from what I've seen and Dr. Paul has the message and reasons why we are at perpetual war.
I think it's time Michael Moore started listening to Dr. Paul. He has disagreements on healthcare... Dr. Paul and Moore both agree on corporatism; Michael Moore calls it capitalism. The free market is the only way to stop the perpetual war, end the fed, etc. This is something we can rally around; the healthcare issue is a biggie but it's possible down the road he will change his mind when he realizes the loss of freedom.
The one thing I despise Moore for is his treatment of Charlton Heston in bowling for columbine. It was unforgivable.

I think this is a great time all of us to 'reach out' to
Mike. If he is sincere as I hope he is, he will come on our side. When he realizes that what we have been saying for the last three years he might be ripe to get on board and 'learn'.
He ought to know about the Continental Congress 2009. Once he studies it it may resonate with him unless he is an avid socialist/communist traitor!

obama was never the anti war presidential candidate. he was always calling for the pre emptive bombing of pakistan, "defending" israel from iran and continuing the war in afghanistan. i'm glad moore wrote this. whether we like it or not, a lot of people listen to him and he is very influential.

He's being used by the elite to take control of the opposition, in my opinion. I wouldn't be surprised if they start a third party in opposition to the other two they control.

Ask yourself why Moore is so BIG (I don't mean fat). There are many better documentary makers making better documentaries. Aaron "Trading Places" Russo couldn't even get distribution for F2F. Moore is being used to take control of the anti-war movement for his masters IMO.

The proposal is a back door approach to get the American people to stand up and take notice of what is going on. Just like you, the people would be up in arms about this type of legislation and would start asking more questions about why we are there.

people to rise and take action. BTW, when you say Randles "stunt" didn't work, I have to ask myself why. Was it public opposition? Again, I don't advocate the suggestion in my previous post, I just want a politician to propose it and spark public outcry and at the very least cause people to ask themselves why we are in the ME and why does the government want more of my fruits to pay for it.

I gave this moniker to Obama several months ago. It is now proven to be correct. Not only is Obama making the same mistakes that Johnson made during Vietnam he is making them for the same reasons. The underlying reason is not about your safety or security its about money. The outcome will be the same only greater. A nation deeply in debt with no alternative but to change the rules. A new monetary system will be ushered in after we are completely bankrupt from continuous endless wars and overhaul of the healthcare system, bailouts of businesses and banks deemed to big to fail, etc.
Nixon took the U.S off the gold standard because we were so deep in debt after Vietnam that the gold was flying out of the treasury so fast that we would have been soon bankrupted. So a new system was ushered in, the Petrodollar. This is the current( and soon to fail system) of money that is of course unconstitutional.
This lastest effort will be another gigantic waste of lives and money in the name of safety and security that will achieve its ultimate goal of ushering in the next monetary system and the NWO.

I realized watching the top YouTube that Michael Moore is thanking Ralph Nader for all the things he gave USA Inc, OSHA, FIOA, etc.. Michael Moore is washing Nader, because Nader did not give the government those tools... Those tools, FOIA, OSHA etc were to be NON-PROFITS, free of taxes, a people's tool to balance the corporate control.. those tools were stolen by Nixon, actually.
Nader is Public Citizen, Not Public Corporation.. It is Ralph Nader and Ron Paul who teach how to beat the corpratocracy on the left, and the right.

Moore is a fool. Occasionally I agree with a brief statement of his but he is nothing but a hypocrite. His attacks against the 2nd Amendment is a perfect example. Several years ago one of his body guards was arrested for not being licensed to carry a concealed weapon while protecting Moore. You see, to Moore it's ok for firearms to protect him, not the rest of us.
Then the millions of dollars he has earned spewing anti-capitalist propaganda. He makes money via supply propaganda that other leftists drink in. That is supply and demand. Then he complains when others do the same.

Michael Moore cares more about this country then any politician and does more to correct it than anybody else. Even though you may disagree with him on some issues....(Hopefully not this issue) he is a man of his word, and when he has a belief, he fights for it! He sticks to it....and he moves on it...

What MM does not see, yet, is the difference between free market capitalism as opposed to mercantilism and corporatism. Corporatism being a creature of government interference and regulations. Dr. Paul pointed this out on Larry King.
For me it has been 18 months of study and reflection on 55 years of life experience to get this far in understanding Austrian Economics. Old dog, new tricks.

I was at the same Boy Scout Camp as MM when he was earning the NRA marksman awards. He lived in the next township over. 1967 or 1968, but we never met.
Getting access to the Scout shooting range was a privilege, easily lost. Gun safety was of utmost importance. His opinion carries weight because he has experience with guns. Unlike many other gun controllers. MM is correct we need gun control, but all my other friends that use guns understand that gun control is a personal responibility and they take it very seriously. I don't know why the Federal government should be involved, in any event.
I believe the Constituion would have to be amended to legally impose many of the controls I hear heard about.
