Media Money Donations Push Ends Friday the 14th

Subject: Ron Paul Grassroots media blitz ready to begin with 1st state: Iowa.

We have now launched the media side of our team's 30daystoiowa grassroots efforts in co-operation with our friends at OperationNH.

An initial $30K has already been donated for the first three ads and we used this to cover the most affordable spots throughout the state. We are now asking for a minimum donation blitz of $15K to get the other 3 commercials(jeremiah black's) into the mix all the way until January 3rd. If donation levels reach $50K we will get these commercials on the air for maximum exposure in Iowa.

I need everyone to pass the word to all of your MeetUp groups and email lists, to go online and watch the videos, and to donate to the grassroots TV ads. As soon as we get these launched we can start work on new efforts that are still in the studio awaiting funding.

This is what it is all about...dig deep, get hold of everyone you know to pitch in, and flood this effort with money to launch this mass blitz of the media airwaves for Ron Paul in Iowa, New Hampshire, and on into the other early Primary states.

I wish I lived in Iowa

So I could see those commercials on TV. I think they are all really good, especially compared to the official commercials. I like the bottom four the best.

Allocating my contribution cap?

I am confused about how allocating my McCain-resticted cap of contributions affects contributions to RonPaul2008 and to Iowa advertisements.

Tyler, can you please clarify?

1) If I gave $X to Iowa advertisement to run the excellent Black commercials (which I believe speak to a different audience than the other ads), then is my cap to RonPaul2008 $2,300-$X?

2) My contributions to RonPaul2008 should be going to Iowa and NH, right? How does the IA advertising campaign relate to what RonPaul2008 is doing with my contributions?

3) Finally, is there a generic fund that can go to advertising, that isn't Ron Paul specific, but speaks to issues on the Republican side that are similar to Ron Paul's
- Peace: No foreign entanglements
- Prosperity: Allowing citizens to keep their own money
- Personal freedom: Empowering us to make our own decisions for our own lives.

Perhaps the advertisement can call on the Republican party to abandon Big Government-Big Corporation welfarism and return to its roots of freedom and decentralized citizen control of their own lives?

That wouldn't affect my cap, would it, but would highlight those issues as important ones for the election?

Shop at Gap

I'll get some boos from the crowd, but I think it'd be just fine if the Jeremiah Black ads were left on the cutting room floor.

Liked the first ones, the Christmas ad was great - run that one into the ground.

2 cents.

it ok

everyone has to have their opinion so far the iowa leadership though like them...so we are trying to do a variety since no one add style will meet everyones criteria

Best Hurry

If the number of yard signs seen correlates to the popularity of a candidate, then Ron Paul is in trouble in the Iowa City, IA area. Yes, it's only one town in Iowa, but given the number of yard signs present, it would seem that Obama has very strong support, (don't ask me why), followed by Mrs. Bill Clinton (please don't ask me why). It's a highly disappointing sight to see after moving back from the Springfield, MO area where Ron Paul seemed to dominate. If Ron Paul has any hopes of having a good showing in Iowa, gears had better be turning fast. Just my perspective.

He's not running against

He's not running against Barack "empty suit" Obama and Hillary "Robot" Clinton. If he gets enough signs over any of the other Republican candidates he should be alright. Plus the campaign is going there after Dec 14th for a full month of aggressive campaigning so things will change.

Christmas one is sweet!

I love the Christmas one.

Top 3 commercials among the best that I've seen.

The 2 Jeremiah Black ones are OK, also. I love the Christmas commercial.

These are all much better than the stuff the official campaign has been producing, IMO.

We need to support this effort more. These are top-notch people doing extremely competent work.

Please fund these TV ads!

We wanted great TV ads and now we have them. PLEASE help get them on the air in Iowa.

I know I don't have to tell you that we are running out of time. Please dig deep for this.
