His name is David William Hedrick
Many of you already know him from this website or from his youtube video.
Talk radio is already speculating that because of the support and volunteers this young Marine was receiving, Brian Baird decided not to run again in 2010. That’s right, Baird just dropped out! This is an open seat in a swing district. Hedrick can win this! If the election was tomorrow, he would win! Now, many in the GOP establishment are looking to back a “moderate” who complies with the Constitution some of the time. We have seen this before!
Many in the party will not get behind Hedrick because he has been openly critical of the GOP and their politicians violations of the Constitution. He has threatened to join Ron Paul and call them out. Hedrick has said, even at their own meetings, that he will not play their games. He has also been critical of them at Tea Party's around the country. The establishment is not happy.
Their chosen “moderate” good old boy Republican has been out fundraising selling his vote to the highest bidder just like Baird. We must make sure Hedrick out raises any challenger who stands against liberty. Hedrick has many more volunteers and much more grass roots support. He just needs the funds to be competitive.
Hedrick can win this. This is more clear than ever. This is an open seat! Can we get a viral money bomb going for Hedrick? He does not even need to be involved. Perhaps December 25. The gift of freedom money bomb. We did this for Ron Paul and sent a message the GOP will not forget. Let’s do this for Hedrick.
We have a real chance to put a Constitutionalist beside Ron Paul in Congress. We must not let this opportunity go to waste. Chances like this don't come around every day!
Who will stand with us and make this happen? This might be one of the best chances we have with any liberty candidate. This is the time for action. Lets do this before the December 31st financial deadline and make his contributions huge!

This person is mistakenly refering to David Hedrick, but the person on Freedom Watch with Kokesh was Jesse Kelly. Hedrick was not the pro-war hypocrite on Freedom Watch. In fact, Hedrick spoke out against the posititon of this individual. Hedrick said that he did not understand Kelly's logic on this one because Kelly's position does not make sense.

He was on Freedom Watch opposite Adam Kokesh and thinks that we don't support our troops unless we support the war. He agrees we are at war under false pretenses but can't support the discussion of the subject.
I hope he is on this site and responds to my question...if you think there can be no public discourse while we are at war, and agree the war is unjust, how do you propose to help put an end to this nonsense?
It is a funny world when supporting the troops is defined as continually sending them to unjust battles, to put their lives and health in danger for something we have no business in. If that is how you support the soldiers, I truly hope you never lend me the same sort of "support."
Sorry to be so negative, but I think a lot of people here would like you to address this. I am a good contributor to liberty candidates around the country, but I'm afraid I cannot in good conscience support this one without a more sound answer on how he would handle the war question should he get into office.

Hedrick has never been on Freedom Watch. You are thinking of Jesse Kelly. Check your facts. You should remove this comment.
Make sure you have your facts straight when posting. You can damage a good candidate. I am sure it was an accident.

Hedrick has said on multiple occasions that undeclared wars are unconstitutional. He has said it on this site and with correspondence with Daily Paul members that some have posted here.

I really like his "War"
I really like his "War" write-up on the issues page. Very savvy. He doesn't talk about the Fed, but that is not all that important and I am confident that he is on our side on the issue.

He does demand an audit of the Fed in his Town Hall / Blog section of his page. I have heard him question the Constitutionality of the Fed in speeches. He has also stated that he would like to see Ron Paul as Secretary of the Fed. lol He said that should solve the problem.
