A Spanish language AP (Associated Press) article about Dr. Paul's recent Sunday evening appearance on CNN's Late Edition with Wolf Blitzer was prominent in the 'Lo Ultimo' (The Latest) for a couple days last week. You remember that interview? Yeah, where Dr. Paul caused Wolf to do a double-take when he heard Paul's current tally and projected donations for Q4. In other words, a pretty positive (if not neutral) article.

There are still a few days left in 'November' sweeps for Aribitron ratings (I think). So Univision is, like every other broadcast provider, pushing for ratings like crazy. Perhaps this could work in our favor? :D

Whoa! Talk about listing almost all the candidates if not all, I never seen so many listed. I don't know what to think, on one hand its great to see so many listed but i think there trying to confuse folks. Ron Paul is a real front runner & should be on the front page. I will be E-mailing it up.

They are not completely censoring Ron Paul. If you click on the arrow to the right of the word Republicanos you will find Ron Paul Listed.

Faith is a funny thing when you think about it. We all have faith, that the floor will be there when we get out of bed in the morning. Apathy, now that is a good one. We have here a true patriot similiar to the founding fathers and the game is rigged, that brings apathy and a lack of faith. 1. A request to have Ron Paul's Image appear on the front page of their debate page.
2. A brief thank-you note for putting his image on the debate page.
3. A brief thank-you note for including him in the debate.
4. A comment stating that we feel Ron Paul won the debate.

Tancredo's entire platform is based around illegal immigration, so it makes sense Univision and their viewers would be interested in his views on the topic.

Hence why he is on the front.

That, of course, does nothing to explain McCain or Thompson's presence.

I have explained what is going on this country, and many can relate to this stuff because of all the things that went on in the 1980's in their country. They do not hear it in the news, but know something is going on here.

If you give them an overall summary of what is going on in this country with examples and then talk about Ron Paul, they seem very receptive.

When you click Ron Paul's picture you are directed to four well written articles including information about his platform, his message, his background and his avid supporters. You and me! I'm a Hispanic 47 year old woman rooting for Ron Paul and I will tell you that Univision is a waste of time. According to a Univision Poll, immigration ranks as the most important issure. Their poll read about 70% for immigration while taxes, war and other issues do not even come close. Guliani is favored as an immigrant friendly Republican.They perceive Ron Paul as odd and anti-immigrant just like Trancredo!
We should concentrate on Hispanics that speak English or are bilingual and prefer to watch the news in English first. The best way to target us are in Hispanic Catholic and Evangelical Churches, Hispanic Teacher organizations, Hispanic Nursing organizations, Hispanic Chamber of Commerce,Colleges which traditionally have a high concentration of Hispanics such as The City University of New York, California State College at Dominguez Hills, and community colleges (high concentration of Hispanics), Hispanic veteran organizations, Hispanic magazines that print in English such as Latina Magazine. Then from there Hispanic Ron Paul supporters can try to reach those that only watch Univision. Anyway that's just my 2 centavos!

Did the Republicans sign an agreement to only speak in English during this debate like the Democrats did? I think it would be fantastic if Ron knows enough Spanish to converse. I have no idea whether he does or not.

It is interesting, the order in which they show pics of the candidates. Then if you click on "Mas" (which means more) - you get a panoply of very minor candidates, including Ron Paul.

This is not accidental, IMO.

And apprently theres not a Michigan Primary either...who are they hiring in the media today? Apparently the bar is pretty low...

Ron Paul is on the second page amongst the other 20 hopefuls.
