It's been a while since I logged on to DP and I noticed right away you took down Rand's little banner on the right side of the page. I imagine that's probably a result of some positions that were taken that you can't support. That's fair. It is your website to do with as you please. But I do want to thank you for posting this article and helping to spread this good news about Rand in your own way.

The members of the DP community may not always agree 100% of the time on 100% of the issues but thanks to you, DP is a forum where we can hash out our differences and come together on many things in a civil manner.

Paul had a third quarter ending at 1,121,693

At 12:30 central time, he's now at 1,688,909

=$567,26 for the quarter so far with 15 days left.

Grayson raised $642,857 in the third quarter so that put Paul close to the Grayson mark. Since we can't know how much Grayson's fundraising actually is, we can use the third quarter benchmark as a target for lack of a better way to know what he has.

I had to laugh, then laugh again at that line from the Daily Kos story:

The dumb ole Rand Paul Graphs chart that's running on Puerto Rican time for some strange reason already has the day finished when it's just past 11:30 Eastern Standard Time and just past 8:30 Pacific Standard Time. That's just dumb!

to adjust their 24 hours at least one time zone to the west. True, we'd miss counting all those donations from Puerto Rico but it would give another hour for California contributions to be added to the take.

I just sent in my $100 and I haven't donated since December 2007! I I want a true patriot in the House AND Senate come 2010 and hopefully Ron or Rand in the White House in 2012! That changed when I saw Judge Napolitano interview Mr. Paul recently. t feels good to give back when we need representatives like the Paul family whose only "special interest" is upholding the Constitution by supporting common sense policies instead of the smoke and mirrors promises that the current "snake oil salesmen" in Washington have been enjoying with their Machiavellian monopoly in both "established parties." I hope everyone matches me or helps out in any way they can this evening.
