Update 1: The CPAC posters are finished. The final edition size was 40 prints, all hand screened on 100% cotton, archival paper, signed & numbered. #1, as always, went to Ron Paul. #2 & 3 are going to Tom Woods & the Judge. After presales, I have 10 remaining. The posters are $50 each, with all proceeds going to ongoing operations of the Daily Paul. Original post: In case you didn't know, C4L & YAL will have a major presence at CPAC 2010 - the Conservative Political Action Conference. In honor of the event, I'm firing up my silk-screen shop down in the basement of DP World Headquarters (my house)(for the first time in 2010) to produce a commemorative, hand made, hand screened poster. (See my other posters here)

Previously, I had been burning the screens at school, but I built myself a new exposure unit in the basement so I don't have to haul my screens back & forth.. I haven't tried it out yet, but I'm pretty sure it will work.

If you're interested in buying one, just post a comment below, and I'll contact you when I'm sure I can pull it off. They'll be $50 each, including shipping. If you think that is a lot, consider it a donation to the DP, with a free kicker. I have to figure out some way to keep this site floating, until Dr. Paul declares for 2012. Things are very tight around here. Anyway, it works out to about $12.5 per hour for me, after materials & time (depending on how many I sell)(probably around 10), which beats working at MickyD's any day. I'm making a numbered edition - I just need to figure out how many to make. I'll also have a .pdf for free download.

I'll be running some tests down in the studio next week, but I promise to mail the posters, priority, by Feb 1, so you'll have plenty of time to get them and take them down to CPAC and get them signed.

This one is framed and hanging in the living room for all guests to see. I think it is important to keep the conversation going especially with friends and family. Though I don't consider myself a "Conservative", I am 100% behind the message of Ron Paul and the Revolution he's spurred forward. I also support this site and the tireless and sometimes thankless efforts of its owner, moderators, and contributing members. Keep up the good work!

I don't consider myself a 'conservative' either, really. I hate labels. Anyway, the reason I used those words was for the nice, open minded audience at CPAC to let them know that there is such a thing as Conservatives Against War.

The hand-printed slight fluctuations of the colors and shapes of letters make the whole posters look as if they are breathing. Or pulsating. Very nice. I like the original digital version as well, but these prints have lively individual characters. So fitting for our group of wide range of self-motivated, unique and one-of-a-kind freedom-lovers.

I just got my photo of our state delegation at the RNC, and five of us are holding "Peace" signs over our hearts. Let me tell you, "Conservatives Against War" were in there swinging even then!
And I just love the "Yes Virginia, they do exist." That would be the given name I dropped when I got married. :)

THE MEDIA IS MAKING IT SO. JUST AS THEY DID WITH MILTON FRIEDMAN. I HAVE A LETTER FROM MILTON WHERE HE STATES THAT HE IS A LIBERTARIAN AND HAVE TOLD THAT TO THE MEDIA MANY TIMES; HOWEVER THEY STILL CALL ME A CONSERVATIVE.

I WANT TO HEAR IT FROM RON PAUL'S MOUTH THAT HE IS A "CONSERVATIVE"--AN ALLEGED POLITICAL PHILOSOPHY THAT CAN'T BE DEFINED.

Have you ever watched a video, "Ron Paul: Principle, Patriotism and Constitutional Government", in which Ron Paul is interviewed by Howard Phillips of Conservative Roundtable? Ron Paul's statements around 5:12 and 6:15 of the youtube imply that he, in fact, considers himself to be a conservative (and a constitutionalist and more). -y

Michael,

You should ask Dr. Paul, Tom Woods and the Judge to sign a few posters and you should have a silent auction at C-PAC, you get a few hundred per poster. This site is a big part of getting the message out to the grassroots and a platform to inform new members. It is truly in their best interest for this site to flourish.

By the way, do you or anyone out there have an original I Support Ron Paul poster (signed) from the first batch they want to sell. Any sellers out there? If so contact me at spineman5@aol.com.
