Something very disturbing about Randy Brogdon.

I posted a comment on Randy's facebook page with links to cc2009 and the Articles of Freedom the other day.
I said since he's a strict Constitutionalist, I knew he would be very interested in the historic event that took place at Pheasant Run in November, and gave several links.
The post is now gone. Everyone else' posts are still there, but the Articles of Freedom and cc2009 are gone.
I wonder just how much of a Constitutionalist Mr. Brogdon really is, if he would erase a post like that.
It's as if he did not want his followers to see it, so they wouldn't ask him to address it, so he erased it.
Maybe I'm wrong.

I agree with
we shouldn't bombard Mr.Brogdons facebook page with links to cc2009 and the Articles of Freedom (I was wrong for condoning that).
But ......... I'm sick and F*****ing tired of our elected officials pretending to be true Constitutionalist, and ignoring things like this as well as,
Aaron Russo's film "America:Freedom to Fascism"
or
Bruce Ray Riggs ...... http://www.dirtyunclesam.com
These guys say they're strict Constitutionalist, but when you bring things like this to their attention, they turn the other cheek, and tuck tail and run.
I'm sick of it!
They want to run for office and chant "I'm for the Constitution" but when it comes time for nut-cut'n these cowards won't touch any of the tough subjects.
The only way we're going to get them to acknowledge this is to put fire under their feet; otherwise they will keep side stepping it, and it will be politics as usual.
Rant off.
Maybe he's afraid of what voters will think about it.
There is good reason for that. I don't need to rehash the conversation in other threads here on DP.
Just because someone doesn't support the CC09 or isn't interested in having it connected to them, does not mean they are not interested in fighting for limited government and liberty.
Have you considered the possibility that some people might see the CC09 approach as either:
a) destined to failure such as previous petition efforts
b) conjuring notions of the American Revolution which could be perceived as a preliminary step to rebellion and insurrection
c) possibly be interpreted as calling for criminal behavior.
???
I'm not saying definitively that the CC09 is one, any or all of those things. I'm saying it is very obvious and easy for people to PERCEIVE the document and meeting as one or all of the above. And THAT is the problem with it being accepted.
If people perceive that the CC09 suffers from one of those three, they most likely will not touch it.
They may also not be keen on some of the people involved, no matter if their opinions or perceptions of those people are accurate or not. They act on their perceptions and understanding of people and if they ever heard something ill of the players involved, they may want to distance themselves from the project.
This is the struggle of all movements. We have this problem with Ron Paul all the time. We are constantly encountering people who misunderstand or who were fed out right false information about Dr. Paul and so they do not support him. Did we badger and "target" our fellow voters to support Ron Paul for president? Or did we simply inform and educate and engage?
Finally, has Dr. Paul issued a position on the CC09? Any comment at all? If not, why not? Why aren't you folks getting stark raving mad that he hasn't if so? Why aren't you using his statement of support if he has given it?
If we are going to use Dr. Paul as a litmus test for a candidate, shouldn't that be extended to Dr. Paul's views on the CC09?
There might be a very good reason for Brogdon not supporting the CC09. And without a supportive statement by Dr. Paul on the project, I hardly see that we should wage any type of effort to hound Brogdon in any way about it. By all means, a personal letter to him looking for an answer is in order, but absent that, I would say there is nothing more here to this. It was his personal page, and he has a right to be associated or connected to whatever he wants or doesn't want. And he honestly does not have to justify why he removes every single post or leaves up others.
You're right
I didn't look at it like that, I just reacted with a little anger that he would erase such an important post, but I guess not everyone is either aware of cc2009 or they just don't want to get involved.
I don't suggest anyone post the links on Mr.Brogdons page, I've already done it, and he answered.
Let it go.
Maybe a few more DP'ers should
post the cc2009 link and Articles of Freedom on Mr.Brogdons facebook page, and see what happens?
Here's his page

Why, have you no respect for others or their property?
His personal image, character, and profile are his property. He has a right to put forth whatever "best face" towards the world he wants. If you want to start an anti-brogden page then go do it.
But to post content on someone's page, unsolicited, and in this case, already removed by the owner, displays lack of respect for private property, other people, and quite frankly is poor netiquette. (it fits the definition of "spam")
Why not send him a personal message asking why he took it down, and if he does or does not support the CC09 and why?
Why such childish and disrespectful tactics? Is this what Dr. Paul would do?
Maybe not
what Dr.Paul would do, but I'm for putting our elected officials feet the fire.
Each his own.
I agree
After Brogden sent me a big fanfare e mail for Huckabee I was very concerned. I sent him an e mail pointing out the many poor actions on Huckabee's part. I stated I was no longer sure I could support Brogden if he was a Mike Huckabee supporter. I received back that good old standard fluff e mail. So I will wait til he has a town hall meeting in OKC and try to pin him down there.
At this point I am not ready to vote for him in the primary. He has a long way to go to show me he is indeed a constitutional candidate.

Yeah, I'm starting to
get the feeling Mr.Brogdon is going to be politics as usual if he's elected. Sure hell lean to the right, but the more I study him, the more I don't believe he's anywhere near as geared towards protecting the Constitution as he leads on.
He's sure as hell not Dr.Paul material.
keep in mind ...
facebook is notorious for deleting "undesirable" posts without your permission.
Maybe, he needs time
to study it.
