Seriously

Does anyone have a specific address for this?

eLiberty never emailed me back, and I'd really like to help out since I live so close to the city of L.A.

This sounds like it has a lot of potential.

I might be able to make it there too.

I already emailed my information to eLIB3RTY@gmail.com, as well as requested some more info.

Can anyone around here tell me more? Is anyone else going?

Take care everyone!

Award-winning feature filmmaker donates to Ron Paul

Chip Gubera, director of the award-winning zombie-musical-political satire, "Song of the Dead," is donating $1.00 from the sale of the DVDs he sells to the Ron Paul campaign. You can see a selection of the film -- a satire on the MSM and the war on terror, on YouTube:

don't complain without the script!

No sense complaining about the lack of actors 40+ until you read the script. The script will dictate the casting needs. Without a script, you just have to take it on faith that they know what they're doing. There's NO such thing as the perfect as. There is only the perfect group of 8-10 ads, each hitting their individual targets.

But if you ARE over 40 and want to be in an ad, contact me. I'm in NY, NY filming Ron Paul ads. I'm bhooting ads with boomers and seniors!

p.s. Hey, aren't all you boomers the ones who said "never trust anyone over 30"? Ha ha, just kidding, dad.

Hey Jeremiah

Can you please shoot an AD with senior citizens that talks about how Ron Paul is the ONLY canidate who can save social security? Have the actors talk about how they're scared there will be no money left for them much less their children. Make it a serious Ad. Talk about how the money is nearly gone and how shortly there will be no money left without raising taxes or cutting benefits. You could then say something like Ron Paul has the answer by cutting our overseas spending and by changing our foreign policy.

Hey, maybe you can sell it at cost to the campaign?

senior cirizen ad

I want to very much. I've already written the EXACT ad you just mentioned several different ways, but need to find the right actor and a few bucks to make it happen. I repeat- I am READY to go with the SS senior ad in terms of scripts, crew, and locations, and equipment. Just need some money and the right actor. If I could get someone to agree to reimburse me, I'd shoot it tomorrow. But everyone's attention and donations are being taken over by the blimp, and we need more people to back independant ads.

Anyone interested in making the ad happen, contact me at:

jblackpost @ gmail (dot) com

couple things

First, how much money do you need? I will create a chipin for you and get you the funds?

Second, I'm not a marketing expert but I suggest you have an older man (60's+) and at least one older woman (60's+) as well. Have both of them speak about the subject and how they "trust" Dr. Ron Paul. Maybe even have them acting as a married couple! You could even add a small dog.

yep..agreed senior ad is still awaiting funding

This was on the list we talked with jeremiah to do.

As jeremiah states donate on operationh.com sites production cost chipins when they come in. We are budgetting to do all the key ads but the ability to get them to the air will depend on the speed of the donations going in.

senior citizen ad

I'll pass on the small dog, as photographing animals is a miserable experience. But, yeah, I wanted an older married couple- talking social security and fixed incomes and a few other points. I've written a few scripts, just waiting for a few bucks.

No need for you to create a chip in, I think. The PAC at www.opnh.org is helping me and creating chip-ins and stuff. So, you should just talk to them. As for budgeting, It'd be more or less about $2000 for a nice, HD spot. Much of the cost depends on the location.

no man

you just gotta throw a valium in the dogs food..then he will be nice and relaxed.. :)

ok, just let me know if you need help with getting the funds together for your shoot. Ron Paul needs a senior citizens ad badly!

Demographic Targeted Ads

I agree that we desperately need to include 55+ targeted group, but one of the most important groups to me is young families and all of their issues. Couldn't help but think when I saw the Paul Family pictures with the tractor that an ad built around a family picnic w/the Ron Paul family and young families with their children in RP shirts talking about *their* issues including the right to homeschool if the education system continues to plummet, the right to health control, social security, worrying about their childrens' futures would pull in a huge group.

Now, to all 55+ like me:

Go to YoungVoter.Org and read some astounding statistics that show why our secret weapon is these youth targeted ads, primarily on the internet.

-In 2006, there were 41.9 million 18-19 year old US Citizens/21% of the electorate.
-In the wings, there were 35 million more "Millenium Generation Youth" aged 9-17.
In 2008 the Millenium Generation (18-31) is 50 million strong! HUGE. This IS the revolution.
-By 2015, one-third of the electorate will be Millenium Generation. This IS
the future and there is no candidate or movement that has a better foot-hold.

So, I am all for *everything* aimed at this group. Shhhh. It's a secret. The marketing gurus will have to rewrite their books on targeted marketing; in fact I believe the RP Revolution IS rewriting the book. Never before will so many young people actually vote....in the primaries and the general election. (I'd even encourage a paper-trail of our own, ie a site for registering that you voted for Ron Paul. If it is waaaay outta whack with the reported numbers, we have some proof.

This is why it makes sense

This is why it makes sense to start prepping today's youth for the next libertarian leaning presidential candidate of 2012! I'm guessing... Trevor Lyman. :)

wow

man, I'm a horrible typist. look at those typos.

Awesome! I'll be there!

18-40

Ron Paul's already done very well with that demographic. He needs the 55+ group which actually do go out and vote.

I'd love to do a Ron Paul ad where he talks about what life used to be like in America and what he envisions for his grandkids. That nostalgia would resonate with boomers who could identify with him.

The youth vote is his to loes....its the seniors he needs now.

One of the wisest observations on this site to date IMHO...

One of the wisest observations on this site to date IMHO...lots of us boomers (uh, except me) do not spend time on the Internet and need to see RP's presence in relevant advertising. I hope this sentiment makes it to the people who make the ads...

Somebody put these on Youtube...... You decide if I can do it???

Yikes!

I reckon your heart is in the right place, after all, you align yourself with The Good Doctor, but your screeching voice is a little off putting. But then, maybe that's just me.

Until I'm gone!
LehrBoy

you outed yourself... ahaha

After you went and swore me to secrecy... LOL!

I always loved those ads, BTW. Never knew what to make of them, but they were the closest thing to worthwhile TV viewing generally available in the Portland area after 1AM. :-)

c'mon guys :D

it's a casting call for crying out loud, not a help wanted ad :D
i've never seen a casting call that wasn't age specific lol

Can Ron Paul Be In It?

....he IS over 40 ya know .

It's LA

I dont think the elderly are allowed in that city.

:P

I kid.

Nobody over age 40?

I feel discriminated against. I think I'll file a complaint with the EEOC. NOT. But why don't you want any graybeards? After all, we babyboomers outnumber (and outvote) all the rest of you! Please rethink and repost your 18-40 age spec.
salt-of-the-earth

Uh oh...I think we're gonna close the EEOC

after the doc gets elected...aren't we?

Didn't notice that before salt

How can you NOT have seniors and boomers in the ads?
