I know that nearly every RP community across the nation will be having a tea party of your own this coming Sunday. Please post the details in the comments below. I started it off with the first four that I know of. Keep them coming!

I just got done searching the major networks websites for news of the Tea Party and our success. Not much of MENTION at all! SOMETHING MUST BE DONE! We must all collectively brainstorm what we must do in order to stop this abuse! Pleas post some IDEA'S and lets get together as well on this issue!

Vancouver,Canada Meet-Up Group - 300 Ron Paul signs/banners
From midnight last night to 3.00 a.m., nine members of the Vancouver meet-up group put on poles, in boulevards, over bridges, 50 18" x 24"plastics signs in metal on major boulevards, 250 3 foot long pole signs on wooden utility poles, and two 20-foot banners on some major overpass bridges.
It was pouring rain and soggy going (especially on boulevards) but a whole lot of fun. Pictures and video soon.
Most were still on the street by noon today and most pole signs were still attached 24 hours later, tonight, which is surprising and great.

I emailed all my friends and neighbors...Subject: "My little grassroots effort".
I forwarded them one of Ron Pauls Boston Tea Party fundraising emails along with several website addresses. To my delight, 2 of my correspondences so far have each donated $100 each. I encouraged my entire email list to forward, "My little grassroots effort" to their email lists. I know several have because I received it back from friends of friends of friends!!!!
Isn't this awesome? Everyone step out of your comfort zones and try it.
My friends seem to like the fact that this is a "Grassroots" effort...not an in your face proposition...and some even like the idea of playing a role in it.

San Francisco Patriots at Tea Party Get Warm Reception
It is 1:30PM and I just got back from the tea party. I had to leave early to pay the bills, so it is still going on. They were just starting to walk to Union Square, as I left. We were in front of the historic Ferry Building, on the Embarcadero. We lined both sides of the streets and got lots of thumbs up and honks from the cars driving by us. A few stopped, rolled their windows down, made positive comments and asked for literature. I think that the best is yet to come here.

The campaigns goal for the quarter was $12 mil. and that is why the thermometer was set to $12 mil, I assume.
If you check the official campaign web site, the thermometer is not the graphic and hasn't been since about 02:00 this early morning.
So maybe you should rag on the people who have the thermometer widget on their web pages instead of ragging on the campaign?

12/13/07 Las Vegas Sun: "One indicator of Paul's popularity [in Nevada] came in October when he won the straw poll at a gathering of Western conservatives in Sparks, NV -- without ever showing up. Romney attended to fete the crowd.
Then last month a Paul speech at the University of Nevada Las Vegas attracted more than 1,000 people -- a crowd about five times the size of the one Romney attracted to a campaign appearance that month and significantly larger than some of the audiences at events featuring the leading Democratic presidential candidates, who have been building organizations and campaigning in Nevada all year."

IRS Busting Attorney Joel Hansen to Speak at Vegas Tea Party!
IRS Suffers Stunning Defeat at Las Vegas Trial Concerning Coin Wages (Oct. 18, 2007)
Around noon on Monday, September 17th [2007], a Las Vegas federal jury returned its verdict refusing to convict nine defendants of any of the 161 federal tax crimes they had been charged with. The charges included income tax evasion, willful failure to file and conspiracy to evade taxes.
The four-month trial centered around the family businesses of Robert Kahre who paid numerous workers for their labor with circulating gold and silver U.S. coins, and did not report the wages. The payments took place over several years, allegedly totaling at least $114 million dollars.
According to defense attorney Joel Hansen, who represented co-defendant Alex Loglia, the primary "willfulness" defense was that the defendants believed they had no legal obligation to withhold, pay income taxes or report anything to the government because, in part, the nominal (i.e., face value) of the gold and silver coins is so small as to fall beneath the reporting thresholds set by the Internal Revenue Code.
The Defendants also argued that regardless of the valuation of the coins for internal revenue purposes, there is no law that requires average American workers to file or pay direct, un-apportioned taxes on the fruits of their labor.
The Government argued that the payments in solid gold and silver U.S. coins must be considered at their bullion (i.e., intrinsic full-market) value when considering the worth of the wages for purposes of the internal revenue code.
Attorney Hansen cited two Supreme Court cases bolstering Defendant's monetary argument at the heart of the defendants "willfulness" defense.
The essence of the argument is that under the Constitution Congress is obligated by law to mint and circulate such coins as demand requires, and must establish the value of coins as they are used as legal tender, but the coins' market value, arising as valuable personal "property," is a distinct, separate attribute of such coins, and is of no legal consequence if the coins are used as legal tender.
In other words, if a worker is paid with such coins, his taxable "income" (if any) can only be the face value indicated upon the coin money paid -- i.e., $1.00 for a circulating silver dollar or $50 for a circulating gold U.S. coin. Not surprisingly, the IRS has never issued any public guidance regarding this significant issue...

For the 3rd week in a row, we've got 6 hours of sign waving scheduled
for Sat, 12/15, from 10 am - 4 pm, at Rt. 145 and Grape St. in
Whitehall, Pa. We've had 12-15 people each time.
The forecast is for snow Sun., 12/16. But in the evening, we'll be at the Quiznos Sub shop on Rt. 309 in Coopersburg, Pa., writing letters to voters in Iowa as we watch the Tea Part numbers roll ever higher.
If you happen to be in the area for either of those events, please feel

3 Seattle Tea Party Events!
We'll be out in force in Seattle's downtown shopping district on both Saturday and Sunday from noon to 5 pm. We'll be waving signs and passing out Ron Paul info as fast as we can! We've got stickers, pins, bumper stickers, yard signs, and hundreds of Ron Paul DVDs to share with people who want to hear Paul's message.
After Sunday's outreach event, we have rented out a private lounge space downtown for the Tea Party, which starts at 5pm. On the big screen TV we'll be streaming live coverage of the Boston rally, speakers, and Tea Party reenactment as well as watching the donations roll in and screening some Ron Paul video clips. There will be a donation station set up for those who wish to donate while in attendance. Everyone will bring food and drink to share. Liber-Tea Martinis and Carol Paul's famous cookies will also be served.

My name is Austin Petersen, and I am an assistant organizer for the Ron Paul NYC Meetup Group. As you may have heard, the libertarians have opened up their phone bank system for us to use and I am coordinating a nationwide home based phone bank. Here is the release I have sent out for the phone bank project to call New Hampshire. If you could forward this to everyone and anyone you know I would really appreciate it. The goal is to get 1000 callers from 1 to 5PM EST this Saturday. Alot of people have claimed that the campaign does not want us to do this. That is NOT true. The Libertarian Party has opened up their phone banking website for us to use at

If you would like to participate please go to ballotbase.org and register on their website. Once you have finished, you will receive a confirmation email. Then you’ll have a username and login. Then on Saturday you just log in, pick up your phone, and call the phone numbers. In the website is a very simple tutorial on how to use the system, there’s an interface that allows you to record the status of the call. It’s very important to get as many people as we can all over the USA or even the world to call New Hampshire that day. The phone bank will start at 1PM EST and will end at 5PM.
If you prefer you may come to Headquarters that day. Bring a laptop, and phone and we will provide the internet connection.
Again, to participate:
1. Register at ballotbase.org
2. Familiarize yourself with the website and use the easy tutorials they provide. Password for system is LIBERTY
3. On Saturday at 1PM EST log in to the website and start making calls. The script will be there directly underneath.

Boston, Massachusetts has their Tea Party anniversary celebration. Strausbourg, France has their march on European Parliament.
This is the official invitation from the UNL Students for Ron Paul group, to attend the statewide Tea Party rally at the State Capitol building on Sunday, December 16th, 2007, the 234th Anniversary of the day that sparked an American Revolution.
Join us in Lincoln, Nebraska, at the North steps of the State Capitol, to rally for America's next revolution, and show your support for the only Patriot who is able to return justice and freedom to our nation, Ron Paul.
