Always Have In Your Ride - A Tire Iron, A Jack, A Length of Chain, and a Good Word for Liberty and Ron Paul!

Earlier this week I stopped for a guy with a flat tire, he had been waiting for an hour for help to come. I was the only person to stop in that entire time, he was so happy I thought he was going to kiss me! We talked politics the entire time I changed out his flat for his spare - In about 15 minutes I had him back on the road, I really think I made an impact - friendliness counts!
Just last night I pulled a guy out of the mud, similar conversation and again I think I made an impact - I'm so glad I bought a truck!

Ride
You are to be commended for your good deeds, and if more of us followed your example the Liberty movement would have much more respect. Too few understand that true liberty is freedom to do the right thing. Those who use liberty as an excuse for selfish behavior are slaves to their own appetites.
One comment, and I suppose it's the curmudgeon in me, but using "ride" as a noun is jarring to me. Ride is a verb. Some urban dictionary may include the noun form, but if you ax me, unless you're from the ghetto, it sounds affected and counter-cultural.
I'm not from the ghetto...
But I have lived in the South these past 10 years :)

Where were the feds?
These guys who were stuck in the mud or had flat tires should write their congressmen immediately. Everyone knows you have a constitutional right to not get flats or get stuck in the mud. There should be a law against such things and agencies to combat such injustices should be created. Americans should never be subjected to such indignities. The AAF(agency against flats) and the NGS (never get stuck)bureaus could eliminate these problems and create thousands of jobs for people who did what you did for free. Actually you may have taken a job from a tow truck driver who very easily could have made a couple hundred bucks off these hapless victims. What were you thinking?

See...We liberty types ARE generous and charitable.
And we'd be even more giving if the government didn't FORCE us to be charitable through welfare and entitlements.
If we were allowed to keep ALL the fruits of our labors (no income tax) we would be happy to give all the more.

Portable Air Compressor - Check your spare for air.
I have a Jeep but I do not have an onboard air compressor.
I try to help people that are stopped but there is one big thing that I always wished I had :
- a portable or onboard air compressor that can inflate a tire.
A powerful air compressor would have let me help so many other people - They get thier spare on and then realize it is flat.
I use a synthetic tow rope - never chain. Know your Tow Points before you need them.
