Alaskan GOP wisely nominates the BEST man - RON PAUL

My title is hopefully the title that will be picked up and echoed on all the blogs to counter the absolutely DISRESPECTFUL title that this TV station used with its article:

They have feedback email -- YOU HAVE MY PERMISSION TO let 'em have it! The gloves are off for me.

As an alaskan

I find that my home state (who spawned Mike Gravel {don't ask me I wasn't alive when he was a senator!}) still seems to be very split, although 29% is still a nice margin. I've passed the word on to my family back home. I wish I could do more but I'm stationed here in Montana. My pops seems to be partial to Mike Huckabee, but I'm trying to sway him. Anyways, this is my first post here and keep fighting for Freedom!

Congressman Ron Paul Deserves Better

Thank you for changing your headline to Texas Congressman. I believe you made a typo when you used a small c for congressman. It should be capitalized to Congressman.
Also I believe the Alaska newspaper didn't use objective reporting when they stated that Ron Paul won the poll by a slim majority. Ron Paul's 29% to Mike Huckabee's 22%, is not what I would term "slim". I wouldn't even call it "close". Perhaps saying "coming in second behind Congressman Ron Paul, is former Arkansas Govenor Mike Huckabee."

My email, from a "Texas Resident"

Thank you for changing the title of your recent poll regarding Ron Paul's popularity to "Texas Congressman" vs. "Fringe Candidate." While that may seem a matter of semantics, for many of us who support Ron and have felt as marginalized in the media as Ron himself, a change (even so slight) is nonetheless appreciated and far more appropriate for a "news" organization.

Again, thank you!

Did they change the title?

The word fringe is no longer there . . .
I love the way they didn't sort the poll results to put the winner at the top.

Simply amazing.

Ah, behold the power of CHEESE.

(Frankly, my letter was too nasty to reprint here!)

My exchange with the aruthor of this article

> Dear KTUU,

> Regarding the following article from your website, I take offense at your use of the word "fringe" in reference to presidential candidate Ron Paul. You chose to use this disparaging word despite the evidence of your own poll, the fact that he has won more straw polls than any other Republican candidate, and the fact that he is the leading fundraiser among ALL the presidential candidates this quarter. Just how do you therefore define the word "fringe"?

Dear Eric,

Thank you for your response to my concerns. I have to say, however, that the article's headline was right in line with the vast majority of the corporate media's references to Ron Paul, all clearly intended to marginalize and belittle him. I do not take your single use of the word "fringe" as a scathing attack on this candidate, but do you seriously expect me to accept that it was used in a positive light?

I'm sorry, sincerely, but I must say that I see this as just another (albeit a small) example of herd-thinking in the so-called "mainstream" media. If Ron Paul wins the Alaska caucus, and then the Republican nomination, will he still be "fringe" by your definition? If he wins the presidency, will he still be "fringe"?

Perhaps you are not aware of it, but there has been a blatantly obvious, massive attempt to marginalize and ignore Ron Paul in most of the "mainstream' media since the beginning of this campaign. I continue to be shocked by the lengths to which major media organizations refuse to mention his name or his positions, sideline him with few and irrelevant questions in the "debates", etc., despite the many signs of widespread support for him --- except for the occasional "Dark Horse", "Has No Chance" kind of article. Can you possibly imagine the frustration, injustice and even rage felt by the millions of his supporters around the country at this kind of treatment?

Anyway, Happy Holidays to you as well!

Alan K

Bravo!

Excellent letter AND rebuttal!

Thank you Alan, on behalf of all RP supporters for those good

Thank you Alan, on behalf of all RP supporters for those good words defending our candidate and for trying to tell this idiot that we don't appreciate the lousy, unfair treatment RP receives! What a schmuck Eric Adams is.

Media blitz still on for the 14th, right? (Friday)

This guy doesn't get it.

The problem he misses is, the polls do not show the support, but the money does. The money is NOT FRINGE. It's TOP TIER.

Awsome News

LOLOL 29 % "Alaskans may nominate fringe candidate"

They wont believe when they saw how many states will nominate this fringe candidate.

Is there a such thing as a

Is there a such thing as a fringe inauguration?

THIS is how you title something.

This is how you counter bad press by virally spreading your OWN titles.
That is why every post on this site is worth a million reads by a million people and can counter the old media.

A lot of people follow my blogs and have me as a Google 'alert'. Thus I am very careful to craft my titles for the POSITIVE....and I wish more of you here would do that. I've been trying to emphasize this from the beginning.

Also here is a video from September but if you want to know how sane and knowledgable people feel about Ron Paul, and it should lift your spirits and help fight the perception that being against nationbuilding is NOT being against STRONG DEFENSE (This is where Ron might need an image consulant but the dumb RINOs may never get it).

Unscientific

When Ron wins, they are "unscientific", but when Huckabee is winning, it's treated as the gospel.

Right!

And 7% is a 'slim' margin.

My headlines would be "Irony is that the CFR, who now controls the penniless Huckabee, is using a man of the cloth to dupe religious folks into the new world order". LOL

Right on the money!

Yes Jane, your comments are right on the money. I wish more voters could wake up to this subversive organization. I think I am going to make up a slim jim. I will keep everyone notified.

Great news!

I just spent last weekend in Denver with two friends of mine from Anchorage who I worked on over a month ago when visiting Dallas regarding Ron Paul.

I just emailed my friends, complimenting their state's taste in Presidential candidates...lol.
