Ron Paul on NHPR - 12/20/07

The write-up is already negative...he has more volunteers here than any other candidate, and has raised more than $10M to date, yet "he faces tough competition from his Republican competitors who have more staff, more money and more media exposure."

I'm scratching my head on this since he can't keep up with media requests, and thanks to the internet and his campaign efforts, has more exposure than anyone, especially in NH what with the 6 mailings, 8 phone calls, and 6 radio ads and 4 tv ads that are constantly airing around us.

Dr Paul breaks out a can of whoopass

Dr Paul at his best....

http://69.65.26.137/~ronp...

I didn't ask anyone to complain.

I agree Laura did a good interview last time, but you have to admit that this preview write up did nothing to give any credit where credit was due. The KC Star is worse, calling him offbeat, small group of supporters, and further marginalizing him with the language they use, citing low poll numbers.
Frankly my dear, when it comes to low poll numbers, we don't give a damn!

Because poll numbers don't much matter on election day.

Kansas City Star Story

For the same reasons that the Des Moines Register did NOT include Dennis Kucinich, the Kansas City Star journalist cannot be more supportive, even if he wanted to be. A complete explanation is at http://GreatRedDragon.com under these headings:
12/12/2007 - Des Moines Register VS Kucinich
09/21/2006 - Who Controls Major Newspaper Companies?
09/21/2006 - Who Controls Major TV Networks?

I mention Kucinich because I would like to see Ron Paul as President, and Dennis Kucinich as his VicePresident. That could lead to 16 years of decency to mend the last 28 years of oppression. Due to what has happened to Liberty Dollar, the lines have been drawn.

This election is now about the many non-sociopaths (those still with empathy and conscience) against the few sociopaths who would enslave us. A sociopath has been well-defined by Robert D. Hare, who describes psychopaths as,

"intraspecies predators who use charm, manipulation, intimidation, and violence to control others and to satisfy their own selfish needs. Lacking in conscience and in feelings for others, they cold-bloodedly take what they want and do as they please, violating social norms and expectations without the slightest sense of guilt or regret."

Can you provide a better description of the men and women running against Ron Paul? That's the deep-down reason intelligent and thoughtful people respect Ron Paul, and why others despise him. Just don't think you're done supporting Ron Paul. Ron will be thrown to the pit vipers if we do not provide support by removing the sociopaths from government office. He can NOT do this alone. He is NOT a saviour. He IS a good man. And if other good men and women do not cross the line to aid his work, all will have been lost. At least, those of us who tried KNOW we tried. Perhaps, sometimes the dragon does win.

Please! No more Kucinich talk!

It just insanity to talk about having DK for anything.

For once and for all, what on earth makes you think a socialist like Kucinich is someone that would make things right with regard to OPPRESSION? His are the diametric opposite of Ron's policies and would likely bring about MORE TAXATION and MORE OPRESSION.

Please do your homework...PLEASE! Repeat after me: Ron Paul supporters do not want S-O-C-I-A-L-I-S-M.
They do not want anything to do with Kucinich or any other Democrat.

Kucinich Rocks

He and Ron are good friends and both have expressed interest in working closely together.

I love Dennis' health care plan...its a contrast to Ron Paul's but of course Ron will have to make concessions on policy somewhere. If he did make it on health cae i'd like to see Dennis' plan implemented.

Judge Napolitano or Chuck Hagel for VP imho

Napo, yes, Hagel, Hell NO!

If Roberts can be considered Chief justice material, I'd take Elmer Fudd for Sup. Court.

Despite his bold vocals, and shindig at the neoCON mouthpiece, the FakeNews, Napolitano is an absolute Constitutionalist. He's a perfect choice for Supreme Court nominee, not for VP. For VP, you'd want someone who agrees with Ron Paul Revolution's philosophy, but not as much of a bulldog as the Judge. Perhaps someone more subdued. But I'd take him over Roberts as the Chief Justice any day. He may be one with a very quick Senate confirmation as well, as he is respected by the both false paradigm members of the Left and the Right.

As for Hagel, I understand many thought his belated "if this job is too hard, then go sell shoes," indignant spiel in Congress, and impeachment talk over borders and Iran in Esquire Mag (thought not completely certain that's where he said that, or at a later intv), he's not to be trusted. All that was, was a political grandstanding for a Senator on his way out. As they all seem to do; they only speak the truth when leaving or are completely out of public office. Shouldn't it be the reverse?

Furthermore, Hagel and his brother own one of the 4 electronic voting machine mfr, Sequoia, which was recently sold to Hugo Chavez's Venezuelan state owned co, without a peep out of Congress. Having one of your most important apparatus in a dem. republic, the election process, sold to a foreign nation without a single second of debate should alarm us all. Yet, the Congress bitches day and night over steroid use and dog fighting. Sure they're concerned with security. That's why after using UAE's proposed buyout of our port security, they instead sell it to a Chinese Communist Party owned state co to take care of our port security. Logic, it seems is running as strong as the Amazon in Congress. Could be just me, but I'd say a little thing called money, greed and power trumped their tiny spineless noggins.

Worst of all, believe it or not, Hagel got elected using one of his own machines, in his own district!! Conflict of interest, anyone?

Now despite all the facts and evidence, some still argue the last two elections weren't stolen, or that Diebold who makes ATMs cannot somehow print out reports, or at least keep it long enough for us to audit. Okay, but I'm sure we can all agree that it is a serious threat to our Constitutional Republic when a politician uses a machine that his company makes to get "elected" in his own district. When there's a doubt, there is none. To have any question of legitimacy in the electoral process is troublesome enough, but to have the Diebolds of the world in such serious doubt Sec of State of Califa bans them, only to have a politician who literally owns the voting machines win off it? Come on people, we all know better.

Hagel, is no hero. Johnny come lately, and a corrupt one at that. Someone Ron Paul has nothing in common with. And nor should we.

RON PAUL 2008!!!

No More DK

I will give what you said serious thought. DK voting against the war and being for impeachment may have caused me to miss something, so I'll look deeper. Who do YOU suggest as Ron Paul's VP?

I suggest...

..not worrying about that until he's ready to pick his own.
Yes he might work with Dennis on some issues, but they are very much at odds with their economic philosophies being at opposite ends of the spectrum.
Ron has said many times he's not for socialized health care, has said it to me personally. Dennis wants gov't to take over that and many other things. Isn't that what we are fighting AGAINST? Think about it!

I suggest . . .

Valid points and well said, Jane. We'll focus on getting Ron up the ladder and then we'll think about the rest later. Thanks for your comments.

NHPR does good interviews

Before everyone goes crazy and starts pounding NHPR mailbox with complaints I suggest you watch their /previous/ interview with Ron Paul. It was one of the earlier (June 5th) GOOD interviews:
http://youtube.com/watch?...

Laura Knoy did the June 5th one and appears to be scheduled for the next one.
