RonPaul2008.com Web Visits by State

Thanks to Doug for this:

The map above is from Compete.com. The article with it states, in part:

Above is the breakdown of total visits by state for www.ronpaul2008.com over the past 6 months (Jan - June 2007). While other candidates saw extensive support in a particular state, Ron Paul appears to have a more even distribution. While Paul’s campaign has been gaining momentum rapidly, over the 6 month period, he did not win any 1 state in terms of traffic, so our “Most Viewed Republican Candidate Websites” chart in the previous post does not change.

See the article for the full scoop.

The Map

The map counts the number of visits to RonPaul2008, not individuals who visited, so it may be accurate as far as that is concerned.

However, the map doesn't show, by any means, the whole picture. Dr. Paul is running a less centralized campaign than the other candidates. His website is designed more to point to other sites, rather than assert itself as central control for campaign info. I'm willing to bet that most of us don't visit the official site all that often. I myself only go there occasionally. I use Daily Paul as my first source for Paul news and info. Others, I'm sure, use sites such as Ron Paul HQ or Ron Paul Nation or even You Tube. There are so many Ron Paul sites on the internet. They should all be tracked if a real picture of what's going on is what is wanted.

I check it

I check his site everyday

Interesting

The population density of RP supporters seem to mimic the general population density.

Map is wrong

Looked at their map - there are more people in the Kansas city Meetup group than on the map. Its bogus

This is perfect - just wait

1 dot equals 100 visits.

By the next time it's updated, you'll see a huge shift in our favor. July was Ron Paul's best month, and that will be reflected in the traffic shown next update.

And, because it's a neutral site that refuses to change the map to tell us what we want, it'll have credibility, so don't ruin that by challenging its validity uneccessarily.

1) The map tracks Jan - June

1) The map tracks Jan - June 2007. 2) Just because there are more people in the KC Meetup group doesn't mean they all click on the RP website.
