Live Video Feed for Boston Tea Party Event!
Hello everyone. Another update on the Boston Tea Party Freedom Rally!
Firstly, we will definitely be having a live video feed. Many people have requested that we do this, and we've finally been able to pull it off! We have secured a high quality server that can handle any volume of traffic, but this service is not free. We pay the server $1000 to set up the feed and they provide us with two links and charge based on the amount of bytes they stream, meaning the more people who watch, the more we're charged.
While we will be offering this as a free service, if people do not donate to help us out, we may have to shut the feed down in the middle of the event, because if we rack up too big of a bill, our political action committee won't have the money to pay.
A member of our meetup group here in Boston, Scott DiNitto, will be working throughout the night (so he says!) to get this all set up. I can't provide you with a direct link right now as one doesn't exist, but if you go to the Tea Party Rally website tomorrow morning, a live video feed link will be readily avaliable for you to access, and you will kindly be asked to donate what you can to help us out. Remember - any money we have left will be given to the Ron Paul campaign to help out with the much anticipated December 16th donation day!
One last thing .... Some responses to my last blog regarding this event have asked how much money we need, and to be honest, as much as you can spare. It's hard to give an actual per person figure, because anything you give can be put to good use. We still need to cover some advertising costs (we spent about $2,500 on that) and as I've mentioned before, the live video feed. And I repeat that any extra money will be donated directly to Ron Paul, so you can't lose! Please, consider donating whatever you can today to help!
Thanks!

This link was working a few minutes ago, but they shut off the camera between speakers (I think).
The first page ask you to donate to the PAC. If you can afford something (even $5.) than it would sure help them out.

Too late now but...
You could setup a Sopcast live feed or similar (bittorrent style video stream sharing) for the price of a laptop, webcam and an internet connection (free wifi hotspot??). Stream quality improves as more users join the feed.
Good luck tomorrow... which it is now today in the UK ;)
Mogulus
Is a great free option that can support up to 1000 viewers per channel, more if you contact them. Drop my name when you do, I've been in their beta for a while now.
