Ron Paul is going to be on Meet the Press next Sunday, Dec. 23.
We need to email Tim Russert and thank him for giving Ron Paul time. As far as I can tell, Tim Russert seems to be a true journalist, at least within the parameters he’s allowed to operate in. Don’t forget this is the reporter that asked both Bush and Kerry point blank about Skull & Bones. Yesterday on Meet the Press he took Romney apart like a watch. So expect some intelligent discussion next week.

We tried twice to danate for my wife and I but after filling everything in and submitting both came back with errors at about 10pm eastern. I wonder if that happened to many others? Perhaps the press releases should tout that it was a record and overwhelmed the servers.

We gave the campaign $12mills to win the first 2 primaries/ per request. Now we need to demand that results. We gave them $6mills more and by the end of the quarter they will have wopin $20mills banked. Now start asking them to get the Media's attention for Paul, they have to write to individuals newspapers, knock on every media outlet daily to get Ron Paul story out, this views, tell America why him, demand him to be included in every poll (no matter they fake it). No more underdog crap. They need to act like he is a Front-runner which he is.

We have done more than requested on our part and now its there time to finish this. As we continue to plant the message of freedom in the heart of more Americans everyday. They need to take on the Big Media. BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY!!!

The ticker above is wrong because it's the total prior to the campaign dumping the offline donations into the total. They switched to a new graphic when they did this, so the subsequent total is not included in the old graphic.

Did you folks get the same email that I got from Arizona Johnny McBush? After he saw how much money I was donating last night and today, he hit me up for a loan.

I, of course, declined to fulfill his request. I told him that I was just about busted and was saving what remained for the grand-finale, mini-bomb within a bomb during the last hour of our tea party. You guys, no doubt, gave him similar replies.

Yep, mini-bombs, nano-bombs, pico-bombs, even piconanomicromini-bombs are all set to go off from 11 PM to Midnight. Every little bang gives a lot for the buck. So, give it your all, folks. We must surpass $6.2 million to set the all time record, though it is in dispute.

Go get whatever you can dig up and put it in the cyberbin for freedom. Get others to give. If they don't have a credit card or cash, switch to the barter system. Accept chickens, pink sport coats, white carnations, blue suede shoes, mag wheels...whatever, and then donate for the person using your card and sell the stuff on Ebay before you get the credit card bill...er, ah...all except the chickens. Better check with the local market or better yet...let them cover your food bill. Oh, and if you are the squeamish type, contact a local neocon, they won't mind wringing their necks. It's close to waterboarding. Gives them the same kind of pleasure.

We just hit $16 million for the quarter and we're well past the $4.3 million dollar daily record of November 5.

Today, there was no article in the Arizona Republic that mentioned Ron Paul.

Not one word on CNN or Fox, unless I missed it between the Obama reports, concerning today’s record-breaking day. You can call it MSM or the Liberal Media, but this is ridiculous. Are we really better off than China and how the media is controlled?

With McCain obtaining, somehow, endorsements recently, I believe by not mentioning a $4 million day for any presidential contender just strengthens this r3VOLution, but… only between us. No one has seen figures like this before, but still no coverage. The whole thing is rigged.

For this, and knowing everyone else has donated, I am asking the newly paid members of the Ron Paul campaign for immediate results. Maybe its just me, but paying other politicians to travel to Iowa and talk about Huckabee’s record is not an idea that adds people to this r3VOLution. Right now, and noticing what is on TV, why can’t money go to national infomercials? Why not? This campaign has a lot of firsts.

I hope everyone else puts added pressure on the Ron Paul’s campaign staff and requests the same results as I. There still has been no official response to the reason why ABC or CBS will not air Ron Paul interviews. If I was being paid by the Ron Paul campaign to sit and think of ideas, I personally know where my time would be spent.

My family just met Dr. Paul and totally made their day. They were so impressed with him down here in Freeport. It was a shock when he walked in. We were told he was coming, but everyone thought it was Ronnie Paul.

We will certainly break our previous Nov. 5th 1-day online record... And at this pace, we could even break what's-her-name's 6.2M 1-day offline/combined (and disputed) record!

But be forewarded, that won't be easy. Current projections for the day put us "just" at $6 Million (which is amazing); but won't it be great to blow away ALL the records?

So don't forget to call every potential Ron Paul supporter you know. Encourage them to donate if they haven't already.

And if they have donated, ask them to look at the counter around 10 PM CT (11 PM ET)... If we are just a little shy of $6.2 Million for the day (that's $17.8 Million TOTAL) - then please consider digging just a little bit deeper into the bank account, and donate again.

The campaign is on the Eastern time zone, and will stop counting today's donations at Midnight ET (11pm CT, 10pm MT, 9pm WT). So please don't wait until the VERY LAST minute!

I've already donated $400 for the month, $300 just today - and I hereby pledge that if we are within a Million $ of breaking the all-time record, then I'll donate money I don't have (yet) and use my credit card! That's a promise.

Update: I just stumbled across this old post and thought I'd edit it to remark that I did in fact throw in an extra $100 in the last hour. Money I didn't actually "have" (I used a credit card) but I don't mind paying a bit of interest on it until I can actually get it paid off. Ron Paul is worth it!

The goal is to beat Nov 5. Any other goal was just people popping off. If we beat Nov 5 in a day, we have met our goal and are victorious. If we say our goal is any more than that, then the press will say we did not meat our goal because all kinds of people have set ridiculous goals and called it "the" goal.

Don't forget that headquarters or someone asked us to go ahead and donate and not wait until Dec 16 because they needed to spend the money before the primaries. And don't forget that the donations have gone way up over the $5mil we had on Nov 5. Before we even started collecting for today, we had doubled Nov 5, so we really reached our goal before we started even.

So I would quit saying our goal is $10m today. That is not realistic and no matter how low our goal is, people are going to donate just as much today to make it go as high as possible.

The point is number of supporters, feeling good about what we have accomplished and making sure the press reports it positively which is very, very hard to get them to do. So let them know if we get Nov 5 plus $1, we did really great.

Not that 5.9 Million is bad. A full 24 hours at the rate we have is 7.5 Million, but most of the day is gone. Hopefully many people are at the rallies and have yet to donate, or the media coverage will pick up more donations.

Ron Paul is going on Meet the Press next Sunday. This is going to be great exposure, with my boy Timmy Russert.

I can see how we may reach our $10Million goal. Just like Nov 5th, our total donors will likely exceed the registered donors by two to one. Since we ended with over 30,000 on the Tea Party '07 donor list, we could easily end up with over 90,000 total donors. At $100 per donor, we can reach our goal. I for one have gotten two coworkers to contribute who were not on the list. And not only that, their solid Ron Paul voters. If we each get at least two new donors, we've got it.

Wow, what a nice job they did on the new ticker, with the ability to see number of donors, etc.

Last time, it seems we did not have as many as 30,000 pledges but ended up with 37,000 donors. This time we do have 33,000 pledges so this is great!

The weather here is pretty bad, not sure what the trip to Boston would have been like.
