Server Crash?

I never had a problem. There were no crashes or slow downs. I donated a second time at 10 pm and everything was working fine.

I did notice on this site and on several other sites that the old style counter stopped working. Everything was working just fine on the official Ron Paul site the entire day and past midnight. Maybe I missed something?

did anyone have problems sending emails to meetup group lists yesterday also? i couldn't get anything to go through from about 6pm onward.

It took me at least 15 minutes to get my last donation in at about 11:40 PM, it finally took when we were sitting at $17.9 million. Daily Paul was dead in the water to me after 11. It took me several trys to get to it and then would crash on me if I clicked on anything. I was cussing at Google, Yahoo and Ask, thinking it might have been them. I'm glad they could not hear me. I feel better today.

yea im goin back to the flood as the numbers were rising faster during the bandwith pump.... if you know anything about computers try redirecting some extra bandwith to the servers... i already stated how.

Yes it did crash in the last half hour, there were people on dgg last night reporting that thier donations could not be accepted at that time.

I was also watching in the last hour and donations were coming in so fast that it was pretty freaky then all of sudden nothing. It did crash, but then so did daily paul and ron paul graphs, it was a huge night.

Just dragged myself out of bed, haven't had any coffee yet. Called into the office - I'm going to play hookie - but it look like things are back to normal. I'm going to take a shower, make a pot and then start scrolling through to catch up on the totals and everything.

I started to type my information into the website at about 11:45 EST. It hung up right as I hit the Donate button. Then it went to an error page while I freaked out about it and checked my e-mail. I got a confirmation number and message so I guess it worked. That was the most busy part ot the 24 hrs as calculated by # of donors per hr at PaulCash. I guess we crashed the site with donations? Awesome!

The server did indeed crash. I was making a last minute donation to help push it over the top and my computer froze and then I got a message from the site that said the server crashed and could not accept donations at that time so that's why the numbers weren't updating.

With Daily Paul Severs going down at the same time, it was difficult, but here is what I was posting as it was happening.........

Yeah, I noticed that too. The updates stopped for about 15 minutes. I think we overloaded the server with all of us checking it right at midnight :)

The last page I got showed this and that page didn't look to pretty. This does not appear to show the close to 400,000 dollars that just popped in towards the end.

I sure thought that when my counter stopped minutes before mid-night it read $17,980 and when it started back up it went backward to $17,940. I repeat my question from another thread - what just happened?
