Thanks America!
This was historic!
What a wonderful president. I want to be governed by Ron Paul too :-)

Hasta la libertad, siempre ;-)
"HisTORIC"?!? What a wonderful PRESident"?!?
Puleeeeeze...nothing "historic" about it, other than the fact that Ron Paul was able to speak his mind without any major diversions from the person who held the microphone.
And you say what a wonderful "president"? You mean a president wanna be right? Surely you jest...he doesn't stand a chance any more than a cat in a room full of rocking chairs.
He is NOT electable...his views are distorted regarding the matter in Iraq, and if he WAS right on EVERY OTHER MATTER (which he's not), I STILL wouldn't vote for the guy, and you won't have a chance to either come election time, cause he is NOT going to win the nomination.
KMan - You are Out of Touch
Ha ha ha....what you don't understand is that nearly 70% of Americans are against the Iraq war - thats the reason the Republicans lost the Senate and the House of Reps in 2006 and if Republicans don't elect Ron Paul as their nominee they will have an unstoppable crazy left controlled government.
Let me tell you this - there is NO chance a Pro War Republican will be able to defeat ANY Democrat - they will get Crushed - so you are just wasting your vote by push Giuliani, McCain or any other one of the war candidates.
They ARE the ones that ARE NOT going to win.

Glenn Beck
I think before we get too far into the flaws, we need to write Glenn Beck and praise him for the interview. It gave Dr. Paul a full hour, and exposure to millions of people. As others have pointed out, it was repeated, and will be hit many thousands of times on You Tube.
Glenn was a bit "on drugs" looking at times, with a few non-sequiter add ins like "if you weren't a man I'd French kiss you". Ron Paul is not of the age group that would get that kind of humor and laugh it off. There was some disjointed, inappropriate personal stuff that was not helpful in choosing a candidate, which is what this is about.
Other than those brief wild departures, Glenn did Ron Paul and his movement a huge favor, and gave us a boost. I hope he stays with it, and does not revert to seeing us as a threat. CNN , MSNBC also had good stuff and the day was nearly perfect. "He has no chance" is rapidly fading from the stunned lips of many talking heads.
Whoever threatened Glenn Beck's life and that of
his families is a sorry excuse of a man. People have a right to their own opinions, we are not fascists. Bums...probably Ghouliani supporters, friggin' neo-cons.
not to rain on your parade...
But GB has ulterior motives. Be aware of this, the establishment is planning something and we need to be ready.
Can you elude on
what you are thinking? What do you think they are planning? Or are you just paranoid that something might be going on behind the scenes?
And you know the BEST part...?
RERUNS!!! This was seen THREE TIMES last night and possibly might get reruns today (don't watch daytime TV here at work), but that was THREE HOURS of exposure Ron got last night on national air time!
Also, consider that some I bet were tuning in from the neocon camp waiting for GB to ambush Ron...and had to put up with the entire hour of fair and balanced dialogue...LOL!
LOVE IT!!!
Thanks for this post!
I had missed quite a bit of the interview but now I have seen it all.
It appeared to me that RP was in top form but maybe a touch tired. GB, on theother hand seemed very nerved up. As many have pointed out he was not nearly as articulate as usual. He is never totally polished, which probably part of his appeal, but I really think he was "off" his usual game.
RP, was in many parts, simply masterful. He had a full head of steam going for the last 2 minutes.
RP needs to polish up a "Why you should vote for me" segment and start saying it over and over.....
Outstanding!
Excellent interview!
Worried for nothing?
Seems like a lot of people here were worried for nothing. As all my past messages have said, Paul can really handle any interview and it's extremely hard to debate him because he really is so knowledgeable and backs up many of his facts with history. 99% of the interviewers just don't have a comprehensive wealth of info like that in their head and all they can do is go on to the next question, or look like an idiot.
One of my favorite moments was I liked how he thought it was unfair he had to answer questions about 9/11 conspiracies because he's never supported those theories. And, yes, he never has.
It would have been a better question to ask this question in general, like do you believe there was any conspiracy regarding 9/11? or something to that nature. Instead of specifics.
Dr. Paul ROCKED that interview!
I was very impressed with how Dr. Paul handled Glenn Beck. As a previous poster said, Glenn posed some convoluted and insulting questions, but Dr. Paul remained composed and statesmanlike. The satellite delay was noticeable, but Dr. Paul's answers were spot on. I believe Glenn Back was happy with the interview as well and that's about as close as we may get to an endorsement (though Dr. Paul doesn't need it). Dr. Paul's outlook on impending globalistic government, flawed foreign policy and foreign aid, the economy, taxes and his desire for a more prosperous nation clearly demonstrated that he has concrete plans for change and inspires hope. He is clearly a front-runner and when he addressed the proportionate size of the GOP and Democratic base as only making up 30% of the country, well, I came off the couch with a "hell ya". 70% of the nation is disgruntled and tired of politics as usual. Dr. Paul can win this whole thing, and that's whats shaking DC.
On a side note, I intend to send Glenn Beck an apology via e-mail, for the few fringe elements of our movement, who sought to threaten him and his family. THAT is completely un-called for! It harms Dr. Paul, scares away any new supporters and undermines our credibility.
Clips gone?
They seem to be gone?!

IMHO it was a negative word association hit piece.
Glen Beck had a reason for giving Ron Paul a whole hour interview, but in my opinion, it was not to give Dr. Paul a fair and balanced chance to air his views.
At the beginning of the interview, Beck seemingly fawns and says he agrees with Ron Paul which is an immediate disconnect from what he's said on earlier shows.
Becks sentences are broken and in many cases don't even make sense. He throws out phrases and words that don't belong together and that don't follow each other OR relate to what Dr. Paul's says as he tries to reply to the disjointed questions. A weird kind of a disconnect I have noticed before when listening to Beck; he starts to pose a question and stops in mid-question and changes track till you have no idea what he is really saying/asking. I noticed Dr. Paul struggling with that throughout the interview.
Beck seems to feel satisfied that the interview has reached a certain crescendo and abruptly, in a very confrontational manner, states that in response to previous shows, he has received death threats from Dr. Paul's supporters, has had to hire body guards and wear body armor and that he will read the threats, if we don't believe him, and immediately goes to break.
When the break is over, it turns out he has read the death threat privately to Dr. Paul off air, then on air, challenges Dr. Paul to address the threat, which we haven't heard; Dr. Paul tries to answer but Beck abruptly drops that subject and accuses Dr. Paul of supporting the conspiracy theory that 911 was an inside job...which Dr. Paul has steadfastly and consistently refused to support. It was almost as if Beck were trying to mimic the prosecutor's technique of catching the witness off guard by quickly switching subjects.
This interview in particular and the MSM in general, keep associating Ron Paul and his supporters with negative words like dangerous, angry, radical, disruptive, loony tunes, rude, rowdy, far out, conspiracy theorist, fanatic and the like; in this way, they make the connection in the listener's mind -- Ron Paul, dangerous -- Ron Paul, fanatic -- Ron Paul, Libertarian -- Ron Paul, conspiracy theories -- Ron Paul, Libertarian Republican -- Ron Paul, racist -- Ron Paul supporters, white supremacists -- Ron Paul supporters, death threats -- Ron Paul supporters, Islamofascists ---- Ron Paul supporters, dangerous, ad nauseum.
Repeat words together often enough and it doesn't take long for those associations to stick. It's like name recognition in advertising; chlorox-white, drink-Coke, Charmin-soft, Campbell's soup, um,um, good.
In this case, the desired effect is to have negative words pop-up in people's minds when they hear Ron Paul or Ron Paul supporters, "Oh, Ron Paul. Isn't he that dangerous, fanatic, loony tunes, racist, Libertarian, far out..."
Well, you get the picture, or you were supposed to get the picture because, in my humble opinion, that was the whole point of this MSM hit piece, to establish negative word association in the publics' mind.
That was my take on the interview.

Needs new questions
RP must get tired of answering the same questions over and over. I think his upcoming Meet the Press interview might go a little better - the questions will be more difficult (I saw Tim Russert recently grill Giulianni, and it was intense) but they should be more on the issues as opposed to "Are you a nut?" and "How did you raise so much money?" over and over again.
Does this mean CNN is covering RP better than Fox News?
CNN is doing a better job covering Ron Paul than Fox News?
Yes, I get that impression.
Yes, I get that impression.
Excellent Interview
I'm very happy to see Mr Beck kept his promise to give a fair interview and let Dr Paul talk. This was a fantastic hour for the campaigne. He handled the 9/11 situation very good. Like so many people that are Truthers have said, 9/11 being or not being an inside job is NOT why they are with Dr Paul. It's sad that Glenn and his family have had threats - it's not what we are about. Hopefully anyone with ideas such as these threats got the message that came in Dr Paul's response. Great job by Glenn and outstanding job by our Leader. Thank you for posting this for us.

I dont think you could've asked for better
He did really well and Glen was a gentleman. no compalints from me.

Now I understand
Talk about a paradigm shift, I actually feel sorry for Glenn now. Those individuals who threatened his life should be ashamed. Just consider that the people who's conspiracy theories you follow likely suffer from schizophrenia.
"who's conspiracy theories
"who's conspiracy theories you follow likely suffer from schizophrenia."
You're entitled to your opinion. With that being said, I think blank statements such as this (especially if you are not licensed to make such a diagnosis) do not help the movement one bit. Ron Paul doesn't believe it... great, let's move on and try not to offend some of our base.
"Those individuals who threatened his life should be ashamed."
I agree. ANYONE who threatens another person's life should be held accountable and punished accordingly.
No conspiracy.
There is clearly a bias, the liberal media doesn't want to cover a conservative and Faux News doesn't want to cover him since he isn't a neocon.
The dinosaur media is going to go the way of the radio, interesting at times, but mostly irrelevant .
The internet is the free market at it's best!
Ron Paul on Glenn Beck:FANTASTIC!
I thought he handled himself extremely well and in several instances,Glenn was practically fawning over him....
I agree the interview went
I agree the interview went very well. Although I still can't help but think he and his sponsors must have received tens of thousands of angry e-mails. So, it was either placate the angry mob, or be "booed" off the air.
That was a great interview
Very fair and comprehensive - Beck wasn't a jerk at all. This is big. I bet Dr. Paul will get a slight bump in the national polls from this. He'll be nipping at McCain's heels in no time.

Happy Yet?
That was a fair FULL HOUR interview on national television.
All you wackos out there now have two assignments.
1. WATCH THE CONTROVERSIAL GLENN BECK CLIP. He did not call Ron Paul supporters terrorists, and you would know that if you actually took time to watch it.
2. STOP ACCUSING THE MSM OF CONSPIRING. There is no conspiracy to silence Dr. Paul. You sound like idiots when you say there is.
Happy!
I agree with you that we ought to stop talking about a "Media Conspiracy" really we never should have been talking about such a conspiracy. They don't ignore us because they have some super secret agenda, they're just rating whores and with Paul's poll numbers being low they won't give him the time and attention we KNOW he deserves. Our money bombs have finally gotten him on the radar so we should just shut up and see how far we get. We have no need to give Fox or any of the other stations any more conspiracy theorist ammunition.
Bias does exist *cough* Fox *cough cough* but they're just looking for a story. RP has no dirty laundry so the only way they can make him into a sideshow attraction is by painting us as tinfoil hat wearing freaks. Spellcheck, and think twice before you send E-Mail to non-Paulites; now is not the time to drive people away.
CNN and others too
I think CNN, the Clinton News Network, is as bad as FOX News. The seem to have an agenda of trying to promote the candidate least likely to win against Hillary. I think they realize a Ron Paul vs. Hillary campaign would end in disaster for them, so they marginalized Ron Paul horrendously in their controlled debate. RP didn't get a question in 35 minutes - picked dead last. But getting back to the core problem, RP needs to generate a NEWS story. The other candidates are so scandal ridden (other than Barack) that they generate their own news stories. RP needs to find a way to generate news, maybe by causing "acceptable" controversey - something that gets him attention but won't hurt his campaign. He needs to do something different and big.
and you say why
just fox? totally positive thats all go read about rupert murdoch and clearchannel battle. Alex jones says there battling for minds.
ACCUSING THE MSM OF CONSPIRING
There would be no need for D.Rockefeller to thank the MSM for keeping silent of the CFR's plans if there was no conspiracy. You need to check out Freedom to Fascism!
Bias and conspiracy are two different things
I would definitely say certain news outlets have a particular bias towards certain candidates. This is apparent in the banter between left and right wing media. But since Ron Paul doesn't fit the description of neo-con and he doesn't fit the description of social democrat, he doesn't get that biased attention like many other candidates.
So, to say it is all a huge conspiracy is of course an exaggeration of the reality which is simply biased reporting.
But the people are fixing this slowly. Just look at Glenn Beck and Tucker Carlson and Joe Scarborough. They are ENDORSING Ron Paul now.
Money talks.
Bias and conspiracy
I start getting a wee bit nervous when neo-cons start endorsing RP
Joe was my congressman for several years and I can say without a doubt, he never gave any indication of being libertarian oriented, small gov't advocate or in any way concerned about anyones personal liberties.
This conspiracy thing is interesting. When anyone questions things out of the norm they are labeled conspiracy theorists. If the same thing were to happen in the scientific community we would still be starting fires with sticks.
I did notice Mr. Beck snuck in WTC 7 very carefully. I'm not sure RP ever caught it. The fact Mr. Beck even brought this up should be examined closely.
We have here a building that imploded into it's own footprint without the benefit of airplanes crashing into it. The owner admitted on NPR that he was ordered to pull the building.
I have not yet heard a version of WTC 7 that satisfactorily explains the implosion.
Anyone ever hear the saying "Keep your friends close and your enemy closer"
Beware and closely monitor these guys.
Excellent point
I think the conspiracy is in the RNC but not the media necessarily. Ron gets way more coverage than other candidates polling where he is. When's the last time that Bill Richardson was on TV? Truth is that Ron has had to earn respect against bigger names that have had national coverage for years.
