Prepare Now! Sign Bomb: January 8

Just put up 13 new handmade signs in Jackson, TN! Used the peg-boards (with all the holes in them) that you put in a garage to hang tools and stuff on (they are white on one side) and cut stencils in cardboard that say "Google" and "Ron Paul" and spray painted in Red and Black. Not very original, but cheap and effective.

Plenty more to come!

I'm wondering if this is a good idea. Many junk mail, especially credit card offers, come with postage paid envelopes. Would it be bad if I put Ron Paul stamps or lapel stickers on and send these envelopes back?

I would love to see headlines that Ron Paul does it again! This time its a sign bomb everywhere in the USA..
SIGNS ARE GREAT AND PROBABLY THE BEST THING TO DO - GET THEM UP (even if they get torn down the next day at least we flood everyone for one day)

I was wondering what would be the best way about finding people in my area that I could help or could help me with this sign bomb on Jan 8. I’d like to start making some signs and plaster my area, especially since I’ve seen some RP signs taken down. I'd like to get them in some highly visible places but where most people won't go. If anyone could help me out with this I’d appreciate it. Northeast PA anyone?

it does work, people that know me and my die hard love for the revolution have told me they see his signs. i personally like to email a lot of people. but i think both work.

Think about taking your signs a little out of town to post them up. Highways that have a boundary fence between the guard rail and the adjoining property are perfect - the cops will be too lazy to hop their own fence to untangle the sign. Hey, it's cheap and definitely doable... so you lose a cardboard box like the one in the above video and it only lasts a day or three? so what? and go ahead and study www.freewayblogger.com to get some better ideas.

I don't like the sign bombs. I thought they were a great idea at first, but now not so.

I spent hours creating and distributing signs one weekend. The next afternoon 90% of the signs had been taken down and thrown in the trash.

CDOT (Colorado Dept. of Trans) was instructed to remove signs on highways and the city of Denver has cleaning crews that patrol the city and remove stuff just like Ron Paul signs.

There was another sign bomb on TeaParty day. I didn't participate but I saw signs the next morning. They were all gone by afternoon. Wasted effort, wasted money.

Therefore, I feel as though (at least in Denver) this effort if a waste of energy and money. I hear people all over the Country talk about the Ron Paul signs that they see. That doesn't happen here.

What other ideas do we have? Money bombs are played out. Sign bombs are wasteful. The blimp is up.

I HATE all the negative exposure I have been seeing lately. We need an idea that will change this. Something that will make Dr. Paul look remarkable in the eyes of everyone. He needs to become a local hero or something... maybe pull bunch of people out of a burning building. (I know, that's dumb. Being heroic was the first thing that came to mind.) You know.. Something really bold to make EVERYONE love him.

We need something new... Come on people, brainstorm

If you live in the east or where it rains/snows you may want to do better than card board signs or your efforts will soon be destroyed.

Have you tried putting this idea up on this forum? And maybe asking people to address it in their meetup groups?

I came upon this signbomb idea on this forum, but I'm not sure the word is getting out. Also, you can make signs easy with stencils and posterboard.

I have put them up all over my property, but I am nervous about doing it on public or someone elses private property. Being a government worker kinda limits my free speech for some reason.

One thing we all can do, which I have been doing is leaving Ron Paul flyers all over the place. Walmart, Target, Sams Club, the dentists office, the gas station, my kids pre-schools, etc. Shoot, handing them out to people or putting them in Christmas cards works pretty well too.

Can I please ask that banners be published from dailypaul to this web site ASAP??? I sure need this in my town.
