Even Pat Gray (Glenn Beck's buddy, buddy) of Houston KSEV conservative radio talk - small rinky-dink station can only be heard during daylight hours - Pat is a very harsh critic of Ron Paul, along with Ed Handee. Well, he was very impressed by the authenticity of this add, it really got through to him; saying it is the best ad he has seen compared to other politicos. Pat even played the ad on the radio, commenting this was the best political ad he'd seen anywhere.
"About as authentic as it gets...he's also at 8% but that WILL rise."
(thank you Tucker.)

I didn't trust Tucker having heard him say some pretty off the wall stuff about Ron Paul but maybe now that he has endorsed Dr. Paul...he may earn my trust..he made a couple of points by running this Christmas greeting in contrast to others being run that have "messages" to put mildly.
Even though this ad doesn't actually say it in words, it sends the following message to me:
1. Go ahead, don't be afraid, elect Ron Paul -- really, it's O.K. to "TRUST" again.
2. Don't be ashamed to be an American.
3. It's o.k. to be happy and have hope for the future.
4. Take time to rejoice in the good in the world, because only then will we have the strength and conviction to correct the bad.
5. Intact loving families are part of America too!
I'm sure that is Ron's grandson playing the guitar and you can also hear someone is off on that very last "laaaa" in the ad but you got to love it.
Tucker and his guest said it best. It is REAL!!
P.S - I thought Tucker was a Troll but he is looking up these days.
(Why I thought he was a troll? Because of what he said when he was on Bill Maher Show. "No one would vote for him if they really knew what he stood for" Something like that but now I think he's found his true colors.)
I believe Tucker is actually very cynical and thinks that. He simply believes that if the normal person thought there wouldn't be a safety net they wouldn't vote for him. So, I think he was being sincere but it didn't come off as such and of course it angered some rp supporters, but Tucker has always been for RP, and now he's endorsing him.
Well I think it's great. There's no reason that she shouldn't be photographed doing whatever it is that she wants. No "political corectness", just a family. I mean I'm a female, I don't cook myself (smoke alarms go off ... seriously), but there's no reason that "tradition", in the most prototypical of senses, should be censored for political reasons.
I've had the pleasure of spending some time with Mrs. Paul and she's just as genuine as Ron himself, as one would expect. Cooking is definitely a favorite of hers, as a project dear to her heart was compiling a book of recipies. She's a fantastic woman, and from what I know, the entire Paul family is just great.
And Tucker's enthusiasm was actually inspiring. Maybe some people took it the wrong way, but I do think he really likes Dr. Paul, regardless of whether or not he may be asked to tone it down sometimes. I mean, he voted for him in 1988.
I couldn't help but to joke, "I heard that he delivered 4,000 babies, but I didn't know they'd all be under one roof."
Yet, on the serious side of things, what's not to like about that ad? Even if I were to say there was a level of cheesiness, it's the perfect level of it to make it that much better.
Some guy was trashing it online, no one important, but he said, there are about 750 million people on the stairs...and such. I thought, how small. Maybe the guy doesn't have a loving family and needs a hug and is just jealous.
Did you see what was scrolling...
At the bottom. "Doctors give Rudy the all clear to return home.."
I just got a giggle thinking about RG asking Dr. Paul if he can go home now..

Don't think you're judging fairly

Wow, Tucker C has nearly gone over the top with his enthusiasm for Dr. Paul.
Commercial was fun - glad to see Carol too - all the kids, the toy moose. Seems they have everything except a guitar tuner !
.
Carol
My mom likes the idea that Carol does not mind being photographed in her apron or working with food. Can you imagine the others doing that?
Well I think it's great.

Some article I read...
