Londonderry and Strafford NH August 18th Get Press

Here is a pretty nice article picturing Nashua NH Meetup's Linda Lagana (of birthday cake fame) and Chris Shaw as they get ready to march with Ron in the parade which took place at Old Home Day on Saturday August 18th. This was the activity that happened just before the Strafford poll.

I stood on the sidelines and took photos of the parade as I spoke to people and converted them one by one, and I confess I still have a camera full of pictures I've not downloaded to the computer yet.

The article calls Strafford a 'meadow' but it was really someone's private yard, quite a place, where a whole 'fair' was taking place. There was a fellow with his hot air balloon basket (but too windy to fly the actual balloon I imagine) and several local organizations had booths including the Concord HQ meetup who handled the task of handing out signs and literature.

The author of this piece noted that people paid little notice to the other candidates and she also gave him credit for his ownership of the internet. (althought I would hardly compare him to Dean!)

Good piece

.
It's interesting that this piece appeared in the Houston Chronicle and not any of the New Hampshire papers. But perhaps Michelle Middlestadt, the author, is not syndicated.

Still, it's a very nice piece, and a keeper.
