CRITICAL delegate situation in New Orleans... Paul may lose Louisiana!

This is a critical situation for New Orleans and district 2 (chalmette included).
District 2 in Louisiana is a majority-democratic area and the WHOLE district was wiped out by Katrina.
ED , who is collecting, lives in a FEMA trailer. If you go to meetup.com and find the NOLA activists group, you will see both pictures of ED's trailer and also the elderly, blind delegate.
I can't stress this enough. I was able to get enough help to take care of my district 5.
This is urgent and legitimate. The fees and delegate forms are due back january 10th.
I must be blunt. DO NOT respond with such nonsense as "you can raise the money easily locally." If you haven't been to New Orleans, especially district 2, then you have no idea of the destruction. District 2 was one of the more destroyed areas, probably third behind the lower ninth ward (canal break) and lakeview (17th street canal break).
Chalmette is also in district 2 and Chalmette is basically wiped off the map. I've been there... they are in the process of tearing down all the houses. This is also the area where Murphy Oil destroyed the houses along with Katrina. Chalmette is nothing but empty overgrown lots and FEMA trailers.
ED also needs a 8 more delegates and 15 alternates. (100.00 fee for delegates, 50.00 for alternates). This, again, is a mostly democratic area.
He needs 700.00 right now to cover the 7 delegates he has. Time is *NOT* on our side here.

Only sincere responses,please. If you dont' have anything nice to say, please don't say anything at all. I am too busy trying to find help for district 2 while taking care of my own district's delegates to deal with unhelpful responses.
Louisiana is highly organized with delegates and it would be a terrible waste of time and resources to lose Louisiana because of New Orleans. We have a conference call once a week where a national campaign person participates and we had a call last night with 2 national people.
Please help!!! This is a DIRE situation!!!

Ok, we are now at 1140 out of 1400. That means just 260 bucks to go. Can't we come up with that on Christmas? Remember, these are delegate who cannot afford the filing fees due to the devastation Katrina left their lives in.
Anytime a delegate needs help we must help because without delegates all the votes in the country wouldn't get Ron Paul elected. I am being very serious. The voters don't choose the next guy, the delegates do. If he wins a state that gives him 50 delegates for winning but he was only able to scramble up 8 delegates, well, guess what, he only gets 8 delegates for winning such a valuable state. Delegates are not like electoral college members, you don't get them automatically. You have to campaign and get signatures and then pay fees for these folks to go to the Republican National Convention and vote for you if the people in your state vote for them to. But if we don't have the folks signed up ahead of time, well, sorry Charlie. No delegates for you. So much for all your campaigning and sign waving and vote getting, none of that matters.
So for them, for you, for all of us, won't you please donate to this chip in?

I've been seeing this comment in the blimp fundraising posts and the New Years Moneybomb posts. I've always thought there was room for all of the projects... no need to ground the blimp or cancel the money bomb. Let's make sure the new orleans delegates get funded and ease the stress on Jennla.

We all keep saying that delegates are the most important rather than blimps and money bombs, this is definitely the opportunity to help get some actual Delegate support in the system for our good Dr. RP. any 5 or 10 can help, its not a big goal to raise when measured up to the ad and blimp goals :)
