Ron Paul Named "Person of the Year" on McLaughlin Group
On the McLaughland Group's annual awards show:
John McLaughlin awarded Ron Paul "Person of the Year." "The physician-politician," McLaughland said, "he injected the Presidential campaign with a dose of truth serum. Paul's straight talk on Iraq, and his straight talk on the Constitution, as Buchanan pointed out, and the limits of government have made him an Internet phemonema. In fact, Paul has become an independent force in the nation's life."
Clarence Page awarded Ron Paul "Most Charasmatic."
Eleanor Clift awarded Ron Paul "Capitalist of the Year" for his Internet fundraising.
Pat Buchanan awarded Rep. Walter Jones (R-NC) "Most Original Thinker" for his resolution to prohibit war on Iran without Congressional approval. Buchanan mentioned that it was co-sponsored by Ron Paul.
The show was taped today and is broadcast different times this weekend in different areas. Check local listings.

Check it out, looked for this all day, should have checked the campaign website
Video?
Any chance someone could post the video online? The McLaughlin Group website usually does not update their videos for about 10 days after the episode airs.
Thanks.
Videos for your viewing...
This is a great video explaining that what Ron preaches is NOT isolationism.

Also, on the Patriot Act, old but cogent:

The First Video
The isolationism video was terrible. I don't want to see videos like that with Ron paul in their name. It looks like a conspiracy theory video, and it associates Ron Paul with conspiracy theories. I for one, discarded everything it said because of the way it was presented.
Great videos Jane
thanks ! It is our election to win or lose, it is our duty to make sure that Ron Paul is protected and that votes cast for him are counted correctly, I have signed up to monitor votes in Iowa and New Hampshire.
John McGlaughlin
I used to watch him in the 80's and thought he was an old man on his last legs. Now 20 years later he looks more healthy than he did back then. Weird or what?
Get your taping ready!
I hope someone tapes this! I just updated the Politics and Eggs video with the complete version.
that's terrific!!
I'm assuming this is real and not a joke. It seems like a joke since Pat's the one of the MG who's been most supportive of RP during the campaign so far, yet was the least supportive here, by the sound of things.
Oh well. Awesome news regardless of Pat!!

Give McLaughlin an award
John McLaughlin gets the "Incredible Grasp of the Obvious" Award. He also gets a to keep his job once Dr Paul is elected for not being a stubborn neo-con blowhard til the end.
Pat Buchanan gets a renewal on his "Sell Out of the Year" Award.
Two Awards
John McLaughlin should get TWO awards for yesterday's broadcast. One, of course, for his brilliantly incisive and insightful political analysis (yes indeed, it was no joke, I watched and cheered the program my own self), and the second award for wearing the gawdawfulest, horriblest, eye-stabbingest, wretched jacket in the history of television. Maybe THAT was the joke.
Bye Bye!

What
If this is a joke, I am missing the joke. What is the first commentor talking about? Looks like good news to me. Is it not??
The game changers
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/...
Ron Paul was named in the top 10 2007 events that altered the dynamics of the race for the White House on MSNBC
And he is going to be on Meet the Press Sunday, Dec. 23 = )
Is this a joke?
Joking right?
If this is not a joke can
If this is not a joke can someone send a link?
I don't think this is a joke...
The winds are shifting rather quickly right now. Expect to see more people coming out of the caves and closets to shine new light on the tyranny of the corporate-government "status quo".

Ron Paul Named "Person of the Year" on McLaughlin Group
McLaughlin Group is one of our favorite TV shows. You may be able to catch it again tomorrow and they podcast it shortly after that. Maybe some of you computer whizzes can figure out how to get it here. http://www.mclaughlin.com...
is where you can find it.
There was some debate about whether he was the most charismatic person of the year.
But if you have watched the show, John McLaughlin always says what the answer is and the show ended with him reciting all the ways he believed Paul was the person of the year. Just excellent.
I enjoy the show but
rarely watch it because it is out of date by the time they podcast two weeks later. John you're a bright guy!! You should welcome your website into the 21st century.
