Thank You! Updates from Boston
Hello and happy holidays to all :)
I hope the season has gone well for everyone thus far. I'm sure most of you are already well aware of the success we met with this past Sunday in Boston, despite the absurdly harsh weather conditions. We had the worst blizzard in Boston that I've seen in years, yet hundreds of Ron Paul supporters took to the streets (or should I say the freedom trail), and Faneuil Hall was filled with enthusiastic individuals all united by the message of liberty! It was thrilling to meet so many fantastic supporters, and the kind words I received from so many means more to me than I can express. All I can really do is repeatedly thank everyone. We've all come together in liberty and it's truly inspiring.
For those who have yet to see it, a video feed of the entire event can be seen at the Liberty League Political Action Committee website.
Most importantly though, I'd like to thank all of you who donated to the PAC in order to help fund this event (that was covered by CNN! Two reporters approached me, asking for Rand. Footage can be seen here).
The Liberty League PAC's treasurer, Bob French, is happy to report that within the next few days, we will already be able to donate the legal amount our PAC can to Ron Paul - $2300! A warm thank you to everyone who helped make this possible!
As of right now, something new is brewing in the minds of the Boston Meetup Group in close conjunction with supporters up in New Hampshire, so stay tuned! We're looking to host a speaking event and rally in Exeter. We plan to rent a hall that has a seating capacity of 1,000 (an $800 cost) to be held on January 5th - the anniversary of the ratification of New Hampshire's State Constitution. Plans are currently in the works and possible speakers are being contacted! This will not be a repeat of the event that was recently held in Boston. The underlying theme of this particular event will be based upon educating people on the fact that not only does American have a Constitution that is ours to protect and cherish, but each state has it's own, unique Constitution as well.
In the spirit of traditional liberty, we are asking that those who are interested and think that an event such as this held in New Hampshire days before the primary would be valuable to please consider donating $17.76 to the Liberty League Political Action Committee. We're essentially starting from square one here financially, as we promised that any leftover money from the Faneuil Hall event would be donated to Ron Paul's campaign directly, which is clearly a priority. Please consider a symbolic donation of $17.76 if you can! I know a lot of us don't have a lot left to give during the holiday season - especially after what was achieved on the 16th! Nevertheless, if you can spare $17.76 (or less - anything helps), please donate! Also remember, this is a great opportunity if you have maxxed out on donations to the official campaign. Individuals are allowed to donate $2300 to a PAC and a campaign, so go on ahead and give us what you can!
By the way, a point of clarification. The Liberty League Political Action Committee, while comprised of members of the Boston Meetup Group, is not the same thing as the meetup group itself. They are independent of each other.
Again, happy holidays to all! Hopefully we'll be seeing lots of Ron Paul supporters up in New Hampshire doing what we do best come January! I'm looking forward to it!
Regards,
Corie

I'm in for $17.76
I'm in. Please consider having a speaker who talks about the abomination that is electronic voting machines and vote counting machines.
